  • I hope the writers don’t feel too pressured to make JJ and Kiara canon. I ship them too, but I want their relationship to progress naturally. I don’t want it to be rushed and ruined. Hopefully this show gets the appreciation it deserves.

    • E9UAL that’s exactly my point. If they just got together then making JJ and Kie happen in season 2 will feel v abrupt and forced. It may also put Kie in a bad light, like she’s just going after every dude in her friendship group. I’m just trying to say if JJ and Kie were to happen eventually it should be gradually with some development.

    • @@mcstacia You're missing the point. Obviously, his face looks the same. It's not like he wears prosthetics in the show. But, the actor has a very different personality than Pope, has a cool style, radiates a lot of confidence, and the facial hair is also a bonus. He just seems to be the opposite of his character, and I find him to be more attractive than I do Pope.

    • @@chloej.28 what they mean is that riverdale (also a sort of murder mystery in season 1 and having high school kids) lost its plot and pretty much fell apart in the later seasons. They're meaning that now that they technically 'found the gold' and the mystery is done - it would be a shame if they just kinda started throwing plots together and ruin the show in later seasons

    • @Eagle man That is not true. I'm Middle Eastern and I value black people a lot. They did so many things to help better our history. Like MLK, Malcome X, and Rosa Parks. I also value and understand the importance of the black people that surround me and live with me. I also helped and support the Black Lives Matter movement. Hes also my fav one out of the whole show because instead of stereotyping him like every other show does, they show that just because someones black doesn't mean they can't excel at life too.

  • This show is so organic, the cast has such good chemistry the improv makes it so natural. The drama is realistic but still great for TV drama. Shooting on location makes it it so real you just feel like your going along the journey with them

  • I really thought this show would be cringy as hell, but it really surprised me. The scene they actually explain how he needs to dive with details and everything really was surprising. Usually the character just do something like he had done it 1000 times before even if it’s clearly mentioned he never did. They could be frustrating at some point because of how they acted in certain situations, but they’re acting as “normal” teenagers, not superheroes, so it made sense.
