kinda funnny when pereira won, everyone said it was robbery now that he lost everyone saying he deserved to win those refs at glory really suck but regardless of the result, i enjoyed both matches. I wished we could see a final fight to settle but now Alex moved to mma, so goodbye Vakihitov. Both of them are great fighters

@@Thor-Orion It is actually 3 out of 5 judges. I have that fight 3-2 Pereira, a lot of ppl do, it is a super close fight, anything is acceptable on that one. The second fight is not close however, its quite a stretch to give it to Vakhitov.

Man, you have to be tough as nails to be a kickboxer. So many points of contact are possible. With hospital visit force.. alex makes my top 5 all time best left hooks. It is a stretch to give him the 4 spot, but I did because his looks so mediocre, but guys react like Bambi when he touches them with it. Natural concussion power. I like the way he switches speeds with it too. Edit: just finished fight, ROBBERY

Vakhitov is beast, no doubt about it. But I won’t lie, it seemed to me that Vakhitov feared Pereira’s power so he chose to clinch up a lot. I felt he clinched a bit in their first fight, but in this second one, he did it a lot. Almost to the point where Pereira was annoyed by it and chose to clinch back. Sucks that Pereira had that point deduction. But both are great fighters, nonetheless.

It's a bullshit decision from the ref to only give Pereira a point deduction. After the point deduction you can clearly see Vahkitov engaging in the clinch and leaning against Pereira.

Yep, it's not like he was tying his hands together, not even once in the entire fight I think, they both could've worked to frame and get out of the clinch. If Pereira were to make frames while having underhooks the opponent could time that for counters, stupid fucking ref. Ref should learn basic words of the rules like, "no holding" in Portuguesse, or get a fuckin' translator if it's necessary. This was really bad in many ways. Glory should learn from this.

This guys stand up is almost perfect, the switch right knee and left hook are both lethal. The left hook though is crazy, so tight and compact he can land it on the tip of the opponents nose around his guard. I’m a boxing guy and I haven’t seen a left hook from a top pro boxer that can match his. It’s the grim sleeper shot. Adesanya is more dynamic in that he can go from punch to kick and vice versa a little more fluidly. Pereira on the other hand is more devastating in that his shots are released quicker and more compact with more power. It’s easier and more efficient to land a knee or punch as opposed to a kick. Yea a kick potentially does more damage but also takes more energy to throw and is released slower

The outcome played out due to round4 and judge n4 have watched it multiple times, No way Vakhitov won that round!!! Giving one point deduction for no reason in a Championship bout 😂 Changed the whole outcome and also that judge(4) who scored round 2 for Vakhitov , which fight was he looking at?? Vakhitov didn’t do enough to get the belt this should been a draw I had it 48 -47 for Pereira or 47-47 cuz of that point deduction and bad judging! 29-28 Pereira rd4 9-9 Pereira had that round but -1 point Rd5 10-9 Vakhitov 47-47 in worse case! Btw judge 3&5 good job 👍

Não acho que foi isso. Poatan venceu claramente os 2 primeiros rounds. Mas qdo foi pro 3º em diante o Vakhitov tava aproveitando falhas de posicionamento de Poatan, que por sinal Poatan tava clinchando demais, pelo menos ao meu ver. Tava tipo, um anti-esporte, toda vez que Vakhitov acertava um soco no rosto de Poatan ele clinchava. Tudo clinchar, não tem problema nenhum nisso, mas toda vez? Isso é anti-esportivo. Aí acho que por isso que Poatan perdeu 1 ponto. E a partir daí Vakhitov cresceu nos rounds. O 3º round foi empate e o 4º e o 5º foi pro Vakhitov. Acho que o russo ganhou por a partir do 3º round ta sempre indo pra frente, principalmente no 4º e 5º rounds, quando o Poatan caiu brevemente no chão (e tbm claro, o influenciou mt foi a perda do ponto de Poatan).

Artem very narrowly won the first fight and Alex narrowly won this fight. At most, a single point from a single judge may have been taken from Alex. The decision to take a point from every judge was ridiculous. Artem short punched and kneed Alex in almost every single clinch, even after the ref took that point. Carry on

The reason for Pereira lost was probably because he was leaving glory for the UFC, Pereira clearly won 3 rounds, Pereira probably knew they were going to give Vakhitov the victory thats why he doesnt seem 100%, or could also be a fix fight, that happens a lot more than we think.

The only reason Alex lost was because of the point deduction & the so called ref. He wasn't going to win because he was going to the UFC. The Russian fighter didn't do much of anything,

Whats up with the hate on the decision. Vakhitov clearly won rounds 3 4 and 5 regardless of the point deduction. In fact I think the decision to give Perreira the first fight was pretty outrageous since he kept landing on Artems guard in both fights. Artem landed the cleaner shots in both fights aswell so IDK

Alex is one of the greatest fighters of all time. Double Champ at Glory and UFC.
It is so weird seeing Alex go from this aggressive and dynamic style in kickboxing to a much more patient style in MMA. He was also lighter and younger here so it makes sense.

kinda funnny when pereira won, everyone said it was robbery now that he lost everyone saying he deserved to win those refs at glory really suck but regardless of the result, i enjoyed both matches. I wished we could see a final fight to settle but now Alex moved to mma, so goodbye Vakihitov. Both of them are great fighters

Artem is a very tough guy and would fit perfectly in MMA, i can see him become a UFC champion.
Vakhitov is beast, no doubt about it. But I won’t lie, it seemed to me that Vakhitov feared Pereira’s power so he chose to clinch up a lot. I felt he clinched a bit in their first fight, but in this second one, he did it a lot. Almost to the point where Pereira was annoyed by it and chose to clinch back. Sucks that Pereira had that point deduction. But both are great fighters, nonetheless.

Yep, it's not like he was tying his hands together, not even once in the entire fight I think, they both could've worked to frame and get out of the clinch. If Pereira were to make frames while having underhooks the opponent could time that for counters, stupid fucking ref. Ref should learn basic words of the rules like, "no holding" in Portuguesse, or get a fuckin' translator if it's necessary. This was really bad in many ways. Glory should learn from this.

This guys stand up is almost perfect, the switch right knee and left hook are both lethal. The left hook though is crazy, so tight and compact he can land it on the tip of the opponents nose around his guard. I’m a boxing guy and I haven’t seen a left hook from a top pro boxer that can match his. It’s the grim sleeper shot. Adesanya is more dynamic in that he can go from punch to kick and vice versa a little more fluidly. Pereira on the other hand is more devastating in that his shots are released quicker and more compact with more power. It’s easier and more efficient to land a knee or punch as opposed to a kick. Yea a kick potentially does more damage but also takes more energy to throw and is released slower

Giving one point deduction for no reason in a Championship bout 😂 Changed the whole outcome and also that judge(4) who scored round 2 for Vakhitov , which fight was he looking at?? Vakhitov didn’t do enough to get the belt this should been a draw I had it 48 -47 for Pereira or 47-47 cuz of that point deduction and bad judging! 29-28 Pereira rd4 9-9 Pereira had that round but -1 point Rd5 10-9 Vakhitov 47-47 in worse case! Não acho que foi isso. Poatan venceu claramente os 2 primeiros rounds. Mas qdo foi pro 3º em diante o Vakhitov tava aproveitando falhas de posicionamento de Poatan, que por sinal Poatan tava clinchando demais, pelo menos ao meu ver. Tava tipo, um anti-esporte, toda vez que Vakhitov acertava um soco no rosto de Poatan ele clinchava. Tudo clinchar, não tem problema nenhum nisso, mas toda vez? Isso é anti-esportivo. Aí acho que por isso que Poatan perdeu 1 ponto. E a partir daí Vakhitov cresceu nos rounds. O 3º round foi empate e o 4º e o 5º foi pro Vakhitov. Acho que o russo ganhou por a partir do 3º round ta sempre indo pra frente, principalmente no 4º e 5º rounds, quando o Poatan caiu brevemente no chão (e tbm claro, o influenciou mt foi a perda do ponto de Poatan).

Não mesmo. Ele marcou mais, acertou mais, mas os golpes mais contundentes foram do Vakhitov sem sombra de dúvidas. Isso sem contar no do uso excessivo do clinch apenas pra "conter" o adversário.

The reason for Pereira lost was probably because he was leaving glory for the UFC, Pereira clearly won 3 rounds, Pereira probably knew they were going to give Vakhitov the victory thats why he doesnt seem 100%, or could also be a fix fight, that happens a lot more than we think.

The only reason Alex lost was because of the point deduction & the so called ref. He wasn't going to win because he was going to the UFC. The Russian fighter didn't do much of anything,

Whats up with the hate on the decision. Vakhitov clearly won rounds 3 4 and 5 regardless of the point deduction. In fact I think the decision to give Perreira the first fight was pretty outrageous since he kept landing on Artems guard in both fights. Artem landed the cleaner shots in both fights aswell so IDK
