  • And Jokic left the FMVP on the table, and didn't touch or have thought of wanting it afterwards. On that final photograph, Brown was looking for Jokic and finally gave it to Coach Malone to hold while Jokic (the best player in world) was just on extreme end of the podium. I have never seen that before. All he cared about was his family and his kid, man this guy is inspirational 😮😮❤️❤️❤️❤️

Immediately going to shake hands with every Heat player after the game and giving them and his teammates respect in his interviews instead of talking about himself- just a class act in every way.   • Not a Nuggets fan here. But apart from being champions, I really do admire this Team's demeanor. So humble and gracious in victory when they have all the right to be audacious this time. Top that with the Joker's effortless but efficient basketball dominance. But I also do love underdogs, so would have been nice to see the Heat become champions. Hell, it's all so well deserved still for the Nuggets.

    • Agree with all you've said. Except - if you zoom out - the Nugs are underdogs in their own way. Never won a chip in 5 decades (never even won the West) , Murray's ACL comeback, lowest drafted FMVP who was also denied a first ever 3peat MVP, Porter Jr beating injury to actually have a meaningful pro career, Malone's odd firing in 2014, even AG getting robbed on dunk contests! Denver finished with the best record this season and perhaps only when they beat LA did the underdog label break away. This is a franchise that lost 71 games in 97-98 and 25 years later hoisted LOB. Rags to riches 🏆

  • I have a strong feeling that we are seeing a potential dynasty. The Nuggets can still keep their core players and Role players. They have a rookie that can play very well. MPJ and AG defense is improving. Jokic and Jamal are still starting on their prime.

  • First and foremost kudos to Miami; they fought to the end and never gave up. Now back to the Denver, they are for sure the best team for 2023 and surely deserved to win. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are for sure going to go down amongst the greatest duos in the history of basketball.   • I'm happy for the city of Denver. Avalanche brought the Stanley Cup last year, Nuggets win a chip this year. Kudos to you guys. I remember how amazing the atmosphere in DC was when we won the Stanley Cup in 2018 and the World Series the next year. Enjoy it Denver. Cheers to yall.
