I agree with your assessment on the Balon D’or my only thing about Haaland is that I don’t know if anything will change because why would he try to play out of his comfort zone, since his logic could be that “if it works for me then why should I change?” And I say this because Man City are not really a spontaneous team so they are not going to require him to play outside of where he’s familiar. So what do you think could spark a change in Haaland?
Bench him for Alvarez for a few matches maybe but pep won’t do that. I think alot is on pep though, he needs to get haaland more involved since he can’t figure it out himself

Haaland needs to learn to be more creative and think outside the`box there is no depth and creativity to his play which if youre a striker in big games is an issue because you need that creative mentality to be able to run through defenders and get inside the box regardless of whos marking you like Jude did in his first El Clasico last year

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Im not saying that Jude is better than Mbappe as a whole. However, i think that most people only watch the games for goals. Jude started off how in the beginning and lost some steam at the end goal scoring wise. But you must remember he is playing as a CAM and not a forward. He has close control of the ball, wins most of his dribbles, great hold up play with his back to goal and getting it to a player or taking it forard for himself and is very technically gifted (a little rough around the edges here and there). But i believe his goals would have been higher if he was getting fed more often. If you watch him in la liga you would see him trying to make runs in behine but he isnt being fed the ball 80%of the times because of the different "egos" that exist at madrid because everyone wants to shoot themselves. Nevertheless, i beleive due to the fact that he has won the supercup, practically won la liga and most likely going to win the champions leauge, 21 goals and 11 assist and counting (as a Midfielder) he should win it. Anyone who says he is a striker is clearly not watching his placement on the field. It was only 1 match he was started as a striker due to Anchelotti's tactics, and he was labelled a striker afterwards. But those are my reasons why he should win. Playing and winning Leauge 1 is not enough for me. Not because as you said, "he can play in any league," he should win it. La Liga is miles ahead of Leauge 1. When he moves to madrid, then and only then can Mbappe win it.
