  • I enjoy the Come Follow Me program and do believe it was divinely inspired. Nothing has ever brought me more peace, joy, and comfort than the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I love our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ, and feel so blessed to be a part of His Church in these last days. Thank you for sharing the words of our dear Prophet, President Russell M Nelson. We are most blessed as a family of brothers and sisters in the gospel to have so many resources given to us to read, study, ponder, and pray over. We are able to draw closer to Jesus as we sincerely follow the Prophet's counsel to enjoy daily home centered church supported resources! I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!

Whether the current leadership contributes to the ideal in an acceptable manner, and is willing to change their illegal activities, a form of slander unjustly associated with the strong family ties they brag about, is questionable?

    • What you call Satan is your higher self telling you that this obvious fraud is a very wrong path. You can disprove the cult in less than 5 minutes of research. Backdated prophecies. Unfulfilled prophecies, child abuse, racist myths now disavowed. The list goes on and on. Life gets much better when you stop blasphemous self-righteous, self-abusive lifestyle. I know they scare you into submission and tell you that making you temporarily feel good about yourself makes a lie true. I promise it is not the holy ghost. These people are after your money. Locally they may believe this nonsense. At the highest levels they are enjoying your money. LDS leaders are paid on stipend which is very generous. That is a salary minus having to pay taxes.

  • I’m having issues with spiritual and even political issues. So on spiritual matters I pray for a sign, on what to do and where to go. I want to join a church, get Baptised, but I don’t get any help from God. Even reaching out to churches they don’t seem to want to help I get little responses. There are some people who are willing to help but them seem to grow tired of my questions and stop replying. Even Christian KZhead channels, or website don’t seem to want to help. And the only time I have had spiritual feelings is in a LDS church. And many have said they Aren’t good, but the community they have is amazing. Then on politics I sit more in the middle but felt the right side was more to God. But I seem many right wing people and points taken down by left wing people. Even getting on to science there is a lot religion can’t answer, or it make me struggle to accept religion. Plus just the fact all these religions and denominations exist I feel contradict one another and I’m just left confused. Then on LDS issues the anti channels have done a lot of exposing, the temple ceremonies, history of the church, and just teachings, quotes and events. Like the channel “latter day Smarts”. A lot of issues and such haven’t been addressed Why has God put me in this position, not answering me? Or his churches? Late twenties no partner, marriage. Overweight by about 20-25lbs. No friends. Ignored by people. I just have nothing in life, I thought I would be further in life by now. I do also think I would have been baptised in LDS by now if it wasn’t for my parents at the time being awkward and just childish about it. And I donno how to even deal with them about it nowadays. Even my sister was making fun of me for it. So if anyone can help me or guide me in what to, how to pray, what to ask, where to go, help with my family. And why do think God has made himself so hard to find? And even churches, Christians, Christian websites and such, friends you name seem to not want to talk with me, is there a reason? Seriously, any help would be very much appreciated!

In the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints we also believe that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD. The "I AM" of Exodus 20, is the same as the "I AM" of John 8 which the man Jesus declared himself to be. Do you believe the babe born in a manger is the ETERNAL GOD?

    • @@commoncents5191 church got very rich off of gullible people like you. 😂 If you want to donate to a multi billion corporation than thats your right. But church leaders should make tithing optional. That’s literally the definition of charity. But instead they make it mandatory if you want to receive all the “blessings”. You shouldn’t have to “pay” your way to go to the temple. There’s many other ways you can give unto Christ that doesn’t involve giving money. Charity can also be in a form of service. But of course organize religion wants our money. 😂

    • Further more how many lower income families that are struggling right now, who have to make a decision between paying their 10% to their church or putting food on the table to feed their kids. Church leaders will tell them to pay them the 10% regardless as that much-needed money that could help these low income families end up just stockpiling in a 40+ billion dollar savings account for a supposedly nonprofit organization. It’s disgusting. The church should be spending every penny instead of investing that money, and just leave it sitting around specially when we have so many homeless people. Instead of building temples on every street corner, they need to be building homeless shelters. and before you ( or anyone) goes into the whole spiel about how they have programs to help the less fortunate and the homeless it still doesn’t do enough and don't account for the fact that they only spending like one percent of the money that they are bringing in from mandatory donations from their members. Spend the $40+ billion dollars first before asking the members for more money.

Church should not be a 'take home a bake' pizzeria. It should be lead by shepherds who are integral to individual's spiritual journey. • that's what the Sanhedrin said about Jesus as well. That he got his power from the devil. Well, you're both wrong. It's far too late for the Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus' time to repent, but if, like Paul, you still have time. Saul thought/believed that he was doing what was right as well, but then learned for himself that he was actually persecuting the Lord's people, the Messiah's followers. Paul became one of the Lord Jesus Christ's most valiant apostles of his day, along with Peter, James, John, etc. Pres. Russel M Nelson is one of the Lord Jesus Christ's living apostles today, and indeed is the current Prophet, not just for the Church of Jesus Christ, but for all the world. There Are Living apostles and prophets on the earth today. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, it is reasonable that if He had prophets in the past, He would have them now. The Lord is Always available, and always reaching out and teaching. Calling His lambs. Calling you. God loves you. You are His child.

    • Really not seeing how you're getting to your conclusion. Jesus said that the devil came to steal, kill, and destroy - not to give blessings like you said. So the growth from 6 members in 1830 to over 17 million today definitely did not come from the devil. The peace, joy, and love of God that faithful members of the Church experience daily can only come from Jesus. Jesus commanded to not judge, and warned that with what judgment we judge, we shall also be judged. Paul also said in many of his letters to not stir up strife or make schisms. As a disciple of Paul, why are you stirring up strife? Gamaliel gives good reasoning and counsel in Acts 5:34-39. Plus, what kristic said. God bless you!
