TSB to close 36 branches with 250 jobs devastatingly hit

TSB has announced plans to close dozens of branches across the UK.
Bosses say the company is aiming to strike a more balanced approach between digital and in-person services, as customers move more and more towards digital banking.
The decision follows similar announcements by other banks including Natwest and Lloyds to axe the number of branches on the high street.
In total, 36 TSB branches will be shut over the next 12 months, with 175 set to remain open, alongside other face-to-face banking options.
Here is the complete list of the 36 branches slated for closure, as announced on May 8.

- Birmingham, Pype Hayes
- Bridlington
- Buxton
- Carmarthen, Blue Street
- Cwmbran, General Rees Square
- Dovercourt
- Edinburgh, Leith
- Felixstowe
- Frome
- Glasgow, Cardonald
- Glasgow, Castlemilk
- Haddington
- Hounslow
- Lerwick
- Leven
- London, Bethnal Green
- London, Clapham
- Longton
- Manchester, Middleton
- Newcastle Upon Tyne, Milvain
- Peterhead
- Sheerness
- Stornoway
- Torquay, St Marychurch
- Whitehaven
