At the beginning of the year I was thinking OKC were priming Cason Wallace to be Dort’s replacement, but he’s played within the system much better this season and it’s unlocked his full potential

If Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, and Cason Wallace were the starters on a team, the NBA would talk about that team as one of the best up and coming young back courts in the NBA that teams will need to watch out for in the future. I think it’s interesting how many people don’t give young teams credit for just being good. Even these guys on the show don’t know that much about OKC. Nobody UNDERSTANDS this team, except for the die-hard fans. You don’t get their true potential from just covering them in the playoffs. They are deep, talented and unafraid. Doesn’t mean they’re going to the finals but it does mean people are underestimating their ability to win big games.

Not very long for Mike Conley. But the Timberwolves do have Ant, McDaniel's, Alexander-Walker (SGA's cousin), and Naz Reid. So at least that very strong core will be playing OKC in big playoff matchups for years to come. Who knows how long Gobert and KAT stay in their prime. KAT is only 28 if I remember correctly, so it isn't like he is ancient or anything.

Luka could have 40+ for the rest of the series but he's going to work for it. You can't stop great players. Yet you can make them work for it. OKC makes you work for it. I've said it before healthy OKC is going to be a tough out. Fast hands and the roster is deep, and everyone can shoot. Giggly is the only guy really you could say make him beat you. He didn't tonight but he usually makes enough to ruin that.
