STORY
Embark on an unforgettable journey through the captivating history of the Torres family Manor, nestled in the heart of a majestic Spanish mountain range. Once home to the remarkable Dr. Guan Torres, this grand estate bore witness to a life dedicated to aiding those afflicted with addiction and abuse. With unwavering dedication, Dr. Torres opened his doors to patients, providing care day and night amidst the lush vegetation and exquisite artworks that adorned the manor.
Constructed in the late 1800s by the illustrious Torres family, this estate stood as a testament to their immense wealth and influential status in the region, even boasting a connection to nobility. Within its lavish walls, Dr. Torres, his beloved wife Maria, and their son Xose resided in luxury until tragedy struck nearly two decades ago.
Xose, raised amidst opulence, fell into a criminal path, leading to the loss of both his parents. Yet, his right to inherit the ancestral home was clouded by a series of criminal allegations, leaving the Torres manor abandoned, its secrets and stories shrouded in mystery.
Join us as we delve into the rich history and untold tales of the Torres family Manor, uncovering the legacy of Dr. Guan Torres and the enigmatic saga of Xose's inheritance. Discover the beauty and tragedy that linger within its walls, as we unravel the forgotten chapters of this once-grand estate.

    • Yes, this pair is truly amazing to have the ability to be so adventurous. I wonder, with the many beds in the rooms on the top floor, the obvious religious presence as well as Juan Torres having been of a medical nature whether this place might've been used as a hospital or sanitarium.

  • As always, great video. *Here in the USA, the dining room painting style is called "Still Life". *The beautiful carved drapery toppers on the windows are called "Cornices/Cornice boards" They are still used today, but less ornate, very streamlined.

  • I think you mean Juan Torres, also pretty sure the washing station was just that. Probably put near a window for better light when cleaning your face, and in the middle of the stairs so it was accessible to everyone who slept upstairs. You can find that kind of stuff in older spanish houses as a furniture item that holds a basin on top and a little pitcher with water on the bottom. If it was fancy, sometimes it even had a mirror. 32:20 - 32:55

  • It is so bare on the walls upstairs because it has been painted in the past, probably to try to sell the estate, so they removed everything from the walls. That white paint is too fresh for the age of the house. And the dead cat was for the next person to find. Probably by the same people who threw rocks at the window. Such a shame people can be so cruel.

  • Beautiful landscaping/ garden ❤ Had some interesting furniture and paintings as well. Interesting story about family and house, I always love the back stories of these places and people. Old homes and stuff is interesting and beautiful to me. I have to say that I expected more from the house inside. To me most of the home was very bland and boring like the all white walls, it had in my opinion not enough fancy furniture upstairs or a beautiful kitchen etc just no color and lacks in beautiful ceilings or woodwork or tile etc just my opinion considering this was a wealthy family. I still enjoyed the video and I love your channel and personality ❤😊 plus Danny is a good addition to the channel in his video filming expertise 🎉 I will say Danny can be argumentative at times in his correcting every little opinion you may have about something lol. It annoys me but I still love you both ❤😊 Keep up the amazing videos and adventures I truly appreciate you both and sharing your adventures with us all it's fascinating 🎉. Thanks so much ❤🎉😊 Shout from USA Georgia 🎉 💜 🤗 🇺🇸👍💯⭐

  • Hi Lesley, and Danny. How do you find these places. This place is fantastic, and so well preserved. I bet it wouldn't take too much to get the gardens back into shape. A good arborist, and a crew to rake, and clean up all the debris, would give it a good start. I hear you on the reuse of abandoned properties. If they are vacant for more than a year, they should be seized by the city/county, district, and revamped for use. There are so many people screaming for decent lodgings these days. I wouldn't care if it was in the middle of nowhere. People are so crammed together in the city, this would be ideal. If is is dark enough, you could even build a small observatory to view the stars at night.
