LARGE CLUSTER found at new Quartz Prospect with the Avant Mining Crew | Arkansas Crystal Mining 2022

In this video, Dominik teams up with Avant Mining to explore a new prospect with the mining crew. Henry and Brittney are experienced crystal miners and they make mining look easy!
This is a virgin site in Garland County near Hot Springs, Arkansas that is being developed for an initial analysis of what is deposited there.
Several crystal pockets were found within close proximity of the surface in the first week of digging. While exploring, Henry faced off a couple crystal pockets to expose the crystal bearing layer for digging these points and clusters by hand. Brittney carefully extracts many crystals and Dominik ends up revealing an exceptional, high-quality quartz crystal cluster later during the dig.
This pocket turned out to be massive and consisted of larger milky points as well as some gem quality crystals and specialty formations.
Thanks to Caleb Strong and @AvantMining for the invite.

    • Also, I noticed that you were using metal tools... do you primarily use the antler on solo digs and stick with the heavier equipment on these bigger digs?

      @joedadbod8450@joedadbod84502 жыл бұрын
    • The best digs, all you need is a digging bar. Chisel and sledge are always in the gear bag too. Deer antler works in some conditions but I mostly try to get behind the rock.

  • We'll be in Mt. Ida in November and plan to go on our first dig. We have a rather large of collection of purchased crystal and I'm looking for a place where we can find clusters. In this video, are you in the public dig or working a private pocket? Thanks. I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos.

  • Question: when you go to a mine, do you stay at one particular mine like Avant all day or do you visit at more like spending four hours in one place and then going to Wegner or Coleman for another four? hours?

    @PoliticalTalkAbout@PoliticalTalkAbout10 ай бұрын
    • Stay at one mine for sure. It is best to get fully immersed in one location. Not worth it to rush around. If you only have limited time, you could do something like crystal vista and Wegner in one day.

    • @@CrystalsofArkansas Thank you. That certainly makes sense. I figured that would be your answer. So I made sure to give myself four days to mine for crystals. -Can you identify the mines that make you pay more for the crystals you find? -I only want to visit the ones that let you keep what you find -at No additional cost. I am subscribed to your channel and really appreciate your insights. Thank You, again!

  • Dominic how do I get to dig with you I live right down the road from you? Love to do some prospecting will you or something like that brother. I'm down in Garland was up for a while I know of a few unpaid spots I'm sure you do as well. I don't know if you've gotten too big now to go to the likes of commoners. I can't even get Brian to answer a message anymore he's such a big boy. I'm originally from the Carolinas myself. I moved here to be a minor for Wegner and ended up hurting myself on the relocation and wasn't able to fulfill my obligations with him. Which I'm kind of glad in the long run anyway. I would love to do a little prospect and if you want to. You might be too busy I don't know. You seem like the more laid-back type and more interested in the things that I am with the crystals and not getting famous on KZhead. I'm not knocking anybody for getting famous on KZhead. I'm not interested in getting famous on KZhead I'm just a rock addict . Lately I've been finding petrified wood here locally love to hang out one day
