  • Nice to see the Oilers play a decent game and pick up the W. Nothing to gloat about; lots of work ahead for the team. Hopefully both Calgary and Edmonton can turn it around.

  • What a great classic game performance by the Oilers. Really hard fought game and a solid team effort. Some unnecessary penalties by Kane who did have a very good game wearing his black warrior paint on his face but he scored. Havent seen that. Connor Brown needs to get going. McDavid looked great coming back. What a GOAT 🐐. He still needs to get his game going like it always does. This game was a lot of fun to watch as an Oilers fan

Also their jerseys are inspired by the 1952 Edmonton Mercury who won Canadian Gold in the Olympics in the same year. Puzzles me they had their next coach in Mitch Love, who did an incredible job coaching the Calgary Wranglers in the AHL. As a Caps fan, that's okay bcuz Love is doing a good job coaching the Caps D-group.
