Boston didn’t pass the eye test. Curry and the Warriors looked the part and had all the swagger walking into the finals. They have been there and looked ready for it all, Boston isn’t ready there are levels to this and Boston is still a few years away from making waves.
Gilbert arenas was 1/4 qrt in it lol 😂 He will always be in the category of Eric snow , Vernon maxwell , devin gorge, maybe Kenny smith but Kenny was a way better then Gilbert straight up lol
Gilbert Arenas couldn’t fuck wit j.Stockton real real shit
No one’s talking about Curry saying last season.. “Y’all don’t wanna see us next year.” That’s some 🐐 shit to say and to deliver just makes it that much better
Exactly
The doc gone go crazy
But who you taking off to put him top 10? 🤔
Lmao EVERYONE says that shit fam ! Curry has to win two more chips and finals mvp just to be top 12. There’s nothing goat about him outside of shooting. No part of his game outside of shooting is elite (maybe ball handling too)

@@FreedomFighter2112 By your "Total Achievements" scale: Dwight Howard (9) is better than Dirk Nowiztki (7). Robert Horry (7) is equal to Dirk (7). Patrick McCaw (2) is better than Patrick Ewing (1), hall of famer. Sasha Vujecic (2) is better than Damian Lillard (1). J.R. Smith (2) is better than Vince Carter (0). Adam Morrison (2) is equal to John Stockton (2), hall of famer. Zaza Pachulia (2) is better than Reggie Miller (0), hall of famer. I think that about demonstrates that picking 6 categories you feel like and ignoring every other category and nuance in a career, and then making a top 10 list out of it, is flawed and not well thought through. So just to be clear, your "Curry only has 13 achievements" is nonsense - just like your list. Unless you'd rather have Robert Horry than Patrick Ewing, Damian Lillard, Vince Carter, and Reggie Miller combined based on their "6 achievements".
When you talk about curry you can't leave out the fact that he was injured a lot the first part of his career. When he started staying healthy is when he begin emerging he's been one of the best players in the league ever since top 2 fasure.

KD is top 10 but Chef is questionable? I’m really starting to believe dudes just don’t like Steph and what he represents
Two of Steph’s accomplishments are tied to KD. His 2015 ring is questionable, especially after him losing in 2016 and wanting KD to join the team. 2019 no KD, team not deep=L 2021 No Klay and KD, Steph couldn’t win a play in game vs the Grizzlies. 2022 = Undeniable. Great accomplishment for Steph. He needs more. People act like KD left and The Warriors were left with nothing. And they won a ring in spite of that. He eventually got flipped for Wiggins, who is an Allstar caliber player in his own right.
People who don’t know basketball are the ones who think KD top 10
@@life0093 Exactly. They have 4 players who can create their own shot. (Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Poole). Celtics are good when they're winning, but they don't have a star to dig them out of a deficit against a team like GS. Steph is a great player(best shooter), but he benefits from the league and their score first mentality. You can't hand check. Warriors changed the game and now everyone shoots 3s (including bigs). Ruined the game. NBA players used to be adored for their hard work and physical gifts. I think that's why ratings fell.
@@life0093 If that’s the standard, then Lebron does not belong in the top 10. All of his championships were fraudulent 2 with Heats: Needed a super team, not to mention Riley pulled some under table deal with Haslem. 1 with Cavs: NBA suspended Draymond for a questionable call, then Warriors players got injured. 1 with Lakers: Mickey Mouse House? Give me a break… Lebron is a great talent, but how he go about to build his legacy is not comparable to other greats. Lebron had the luxury of playing as GM and make player decisions, getting players who compliment his skills, yet, what’s his Finals’s win/loss number?

I love how TMac on other shows talks about Steph not havin a Finals MVP is the reason holding him back from Top10. Says he shrinks in big moments. He gets one, now its hes only got 4 1st Team All NBAs lol Well if the conversation is back on regular season accolades then how significant is being the only unanimous mvp in nba history? The most undeniable season. Clear cut better one season by impact stats wins? U talk about one u gotta talk about it all

Most people who know basketball knows that Curry shouldn’t have been the first unanimous mvp. Shaq should have won AND Lebron. But one dude voted for Carmelo lol. So I mean…
The most important stat which probably cannot be mathematically calculated is how impactful were they to get the "W", so sure individual stats matter but at the end of the day it's a 5 on 5 games... the players mentioned LBJ, MJ and Kobe definitely all fit that mold... but idk about KD. So Steph is definitely top 10 in terms of that caliber.
hmm not sure how KD doesn't fit there? KDs defense > Currys defense. KDs rebounding > Currys (not even looking at stats, but just game play). KD has to come before Curry but theyre not too far off
@@kite4792 KD was definitely unlucky by being in a not-too-ideal OKC system. You could argue that everything about the Warriors is a perfect storm - great management, great coaching, good culture - but then again, a lot of that was built from the ground up that started with Steph. That's the main difference. My opinion of truly great players is that they are the wheel, as opposed to being system players. It seems that KD just isn't that guy, but I could be wrong.

Like that can’t be used to split hairs.. for instance, Kobe and Steph are ranked around the same area on my all time list. What Kobe did was legendary
It's always been crazy to me the constant kobe disrespect. Only two players in nba history have 9 first team all nba selections and 9 time first team all defense....mj and kobe. That is it....that's the list. Yet mj is considered the goat, which he definitely is, but others have kobe barely top 10 or outside top 10. Makes no damn sense.

Talking about who is the best is cool and all but that table spread looks amazing lol
GA take on this is not independent at all . The amount of Disrespect Kareem Gets is unreal . The man was a winner at every level of competitive BB. Jordan’s impact was not solely BB , he internationalized the NBA. Magic and Bird stabilized it , and gave it the momentum and following it needed. There will never be IMO an agreed upon top 5 or 10 , at least not in order. I Feel arenas keeps comparing Every player to his own abilities.Nothing wrong with that, but he misses the ( impact ) point vs abstract BB.
The impact thing is timing. If Steph was in the same time frame as the aforementioned players, he'd have made the similar impact. It's hard to make an impact when the game has already evolved.

There's been 4500 players to play in the league. Too much value is placed on the Top 10 Being top 25 out of 4500 players Is just as impressive as being top 10 Top 25 out of 4500 is 0.06 Top 10 is 0.02 That's negligible That's why most people who make these list have 15 players in their Top 10
Top 25 is not as impressive as the top 10. Just like top 10 is not as impressive as Mount Rushmore. Shannon Sharpe said it better than I could: even in the Hall of Fames, there's levels.

To say anyone before 85’ doesn’t count is a lazy take, it’s all about context, what they did in THIER time for THIER era is what counts. To compare eras is senseless.
That era with Bill Russell, he was one of the tallest players in the league plus the league only had 8 teams...lol...(why you think no one puts Bill Russell in the goat conversation, he was a great champion not greatest player). The 80's players changed the way basketball was played, a player that would have played center in Russell era was playing point guard. I would start from 1980 and on....

When you think about the whole notion of “Be like Mike”, Kobe is the closest possibility to it. If MJ is 1, Kobe is right behind at 1 A. I’ll do Kobe one better by saying he got 2 without a Pippen like player alongside him. People just don’t want to admit how good he was. Every basketball player ever talks about him with so much respect and reverence. He deserves it all.
This is a really analysis for nba 🥃
Finally seeing people that know it’s MJ, Bron, and Bean in the top 3 is so refreshing
This how you have to look at it, and spread it… NBA players always say Kobe is Top 3 and not 3.. so all of these fans and announcers saying different doesn’t matter to me, if the people playing against him says it, can’t no one tell me different
What's interesting is Lebron isn't even considered a "scorer". The list will always be subjective. If you like scorers: - Jordan and Kobe All around talent: - Bird and Lebron Shooters: - Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Steph Defenders: - Bi11, Ben Wallace, Rodman, The Dream Playmakers and passers: - Magic, Lebron, and Stockton Players that can do anything that's asked of them to do: - Wilt Chamberlain and maybe Lebron Work ethic: -Kobe "Killer mentality": - Jordan and Kobe It sounds like I'm a Lebron fan but I'm a basketball fan. Lebron is a whole body of work when it comes to basketball.
Kobe respect is fine but Tim Duncan and Kareem are easily better than him career-wise. He doesn’t get bonus points for taking tough shots or having a flair to his game- just say you like his game more than when you watching Kareem or Timmy
