    • I bet it's more of a case of him realizing his voice was similar, and happening to really like Nirvana. I have a friend who plays in bands and just happens to sound very similar to the singer from The National, a singer who otherwise has a pretty distinct voice. Similar to the singer for the band Greta Van Fleet sounding a bit like Led Zeppelin and just deciding to lean way into it because that's also the music they like.

    • 465marko But most differences are because Kurt damaged his voice somewhat to make it more raspy.

    • Yea the thing I notice is his vocals aren't as powerful as Kurts most noticeable when he screams. But still good, id watch them.

  • I was a huge nirvana fan back in the 90s, and listening to many different cover groups from different artists over the years, this is probably the most accurate sounding I have ever heard, if I didn't know it was a cover band I would swear that it was kurt himself singing.

    • Maybe, except this dude probably does it for the experience, of the people who pay to watch him play, I mean why else would you go and see a Nirvana TRIBUTE band? and he's fking good at it too, at the end of the day, dude makes a living and probably a very good living to play Nirvana covers 60 minutes on a show, not a bad deal IMO
