Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are slated to be the first humans to leave earth from the United States since the space shuttle was retired in 2011. Earlier in the week, a first launch attempt was scrubbed due to poor weather conditions. TIME's coverage includes interviews with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine, current and former astronauts, with commentary from TIME's Editor at Large, Jeff Kluger.

  • My favorite part is how, once in space, the earth spins in one direction from one camera and then, magically, changes spin direction from the next camera. Crazy world we live on.

Then will they not believe?) AND surah zariyat aya 47 ( 51:47 And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. ) AND Yasin aya 38 (yaseen) (And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.) AND surah Anbiya aya 33 (21:33 And it is He who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; all [heavenly bodies] in an orbit are swimming.) AGAIN AND AGAIN, ALLAH WHO CREAT THE UNIVERSE HE DESCRIBED EVERYTHING IN THE QURAN 1400 YEARS AGO. ALLAH SAID (41:53 We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?) Quran 41:53 Surah Fussilat ayat 53 THERE is STILL A LOT ABOUT UNIVERSE IN THE QURAN.

I am in utter shock that they had the audacity to pre record footage and doctor it up to look like a successful launch to orbit when in fact there was a horrific tragic failure and loss of life of 2 wonderful human beings. Shame on those in power that allow their egos and the "importance" of United States Of America successfully establishing the return to prominence in self sustaining launches from our own soil for the first time since N.A.S.A retired the space program on home soil and have been sub contracting to the Russians to launch all payloads for over 12 or so years. This is the saddest most disgusting display of the egos of the powers at be to fake this accident since the initial moon landings were faked. • If the suits are custom made for each crew member, why weren't they able to make one for Anne McClain, the female astronaut who had to give up her space on the shuttle to a man because 'there were not enough (2) medium sized suits'? She was supposed to go back into space this April. I can only assume she is part of this...what, no?

    @tealescope@tealescope4 жыл бұрын
    • because these SpaceX spacesuits are very different than what NASA uses which is must for performing Space Walk. And they cost much more.
