I enjoy the new year as my favorite holiday! I was born in 1992 and I want to see many more years begin in my life. The ball drops of ringing in 1930, 1931, 1936 and 1946 are yet to be uploaded. May they be found in the future. The ball did not drop in ringing in 1943 or 1944 because of World War II and wartime blackouts. It was a loud ball drop for ringing in 1946 from the excitement of no more Great Depression or World War II. I always see the ball drop for ringing the new year. I want to at least once see the ball drop in person in Times Square. I am already having a great 2024. Guy Lombardo was great in the new year. I prefer to stay awake until midnight at least to welcome the new year. I am so excited about 2025 to begin already!
