I had an idea awhile back maybe a switch in the menu to switch the redstone from bedrock to java

ok so I have an important question about this world, my son and I created it on my realms so that we can explore, and we went to the top of the tower that has a train system going up even further, decided to take some obsidian with us, and he got the flame thing, he knows, anyway we built a portal, but turned it on and went inside, immediately there was nothing but bedrock under us, the portal was not there, and we couldn't build anything, we lost a lot of materials and stuff like that, I decided that I am just going to reset it on my realms and begin again, but what do you guys think happened, was it a glitch or were we just too high up to build a portal? Lordivus and BriefAutoBot, are our YT channels' names respectfully ;P
I got it for my Switch, and I was so happy and upset. For starters after getting it on my brand new Switch Lite after a few hours of play it said I was out of space and needed to delete my one world. I was happy to get it and play what bit of it I could, but it was very buggy. The redstone devices were broken, and I got lost trying to find Scar Land because everything wasn’t loading in. I did find it, walk right on in, through the back way looking up at the sky apologizing to Scar for not going through the front, and Jellie was gone. Even the streets were empty. I didn’t even get the chance to use Deck Out after finally getting there. Hopefully if and when I get a laptop and log into Minecraft, maybe then I can finally visit the Hermitcraft server once again.
So there's a lot of factors that are happening to give you this problem. Most of these issues happen because the Hermitcraft world is made for Java Edition, not Bedrock. In order to port the world to Bedrock, they had to use a tool called Chunker. This converts the world to Bedrock edition, but has the side effect of deleting all mobs and entities. Secondly, as you might already know, Redstone of both editions is COMPLETLY different, so contraptions and machines built in Java will obviously not work in Bedrock. Lastly, you are using a Switch Lite, which doesn't have a ton of storage, and Bedrock for Switch is atrocious and horribly optimized, which is why you are having the loading problems (also the world file is MASSIVE. Even my laptop struggled to run it, and when it could, the fans were running full blast.).
@@origamifolder2255 Thank you for telling me this but I did try to play the Hermitcraft 9 on my actual Switch but it had said I had no space to play and had to delete my old worlds just to download it. I’m not interested in deleting my worlds and chose to get the Lite to see if I could play it. I never even signed into a Microsoft Account before till now. And lastly I never played Java, I’m a Bedrock player, the first time I played Minecraft was on my Switch. So thank you for explaining the how this do work between the two. I have also link my Lite Minecraft to my Microsoft Account so maybe I can explore of the different Minecraft options, possibly try the achievements for the first time.

Tried to download on ps4 but keeps telling me that I don't have enough memory on ps4.. I deleted worlds to trim space there and trimmed stuff from hard drive. But message still says not enough memory. Any help on issue would be amazing b/c I've done all my tiny brain can think of.
Try clearing your marketplace cache. You can do this by going to settings > storage > clear marketplace cache. While you're at it, you can also delete any texture packs and resource packs that you aren't using from the same storage menu.

Yeah it makes me crash too, on PlayStation. It will be good for around 5 minutes and then just crash
Try turning off screen animations, fancy leaves, beautiful skies, smooth lighting, and fancy graphics, after that, make sure your render distance is 5 chunks. Then, edit the world to 4 chunks. Also, you can try making the world 1 tick. This worked for me, but this can depend on what device your playing on.
