So glad I found this. Thanks so much for this video,such amazing work.I am figuring out and looking into getting leatherwork tools and the acrylic strap templates but I don’t know what sizes to get. Like Apple do a S/M and M/L I was thinking 22-24cm pattern for the S but I don’t know about bigger sizes. I have small wrists so the S is good for me but Male friends and family members have bigger/thicker wrists so I don’t know what to do, what could you advise? These acrylic templates are confusing there’s so many sets and I don’t know where to start, thank you whom ever answers.
Your craftsmanship is league apart, just wonderful and very clan work. If you dont mind, can ask ask what is the thickness of both upper and bottom leather pieces is?

Great tutorial, why didn't you put some supporting material inside the band, to make it puffed up? Or is this a different type band?

Hi, thank you very much! Leather can be up to 1.5mm, otherwise the strap will be too thick.
@@antonthecraftsman4488 in this case, since it's double layered, so the leather should be skived to around 0.7-0.8mm right?
@@lowspeak no, it's thickness of one layer, so all together it will be around 3mm, but it's depends how you like it, i like it this way:)

Hello, thank you! Punch is from KS Blade, there is a link in the description box. The patterns are made by local company that does laser cuttings, I just gave them my custom templates:)

Прикольный ремешок. Но подкладка из Pueblo, не лучший выбор. Кожа сама по себе плотная и ремешок будет жёстким, плюс "гармошка" с внутренней стороны. Нить к оливе лучше брать жёлтую, будет отличный контраст. Нужно также уплотнять места крепления к корпусу и место возле пряжки. Через некоторое время кожа там потянется и будет видно зазоры 😬 С уважением
Pueblo хоть и плотная кожа, но достаточно податливая. Ремешок быстро принимает форму запястья. При правильной склейке "гармошка" не возникает. Подбор цвета нити личное дело вкуса каждого мастера. Места соединения с фурнитурой я не укрепляю. Мой личный опыт использования показывает, что это все хорошо звучит только в теории и актуально для мягких и тонких кож. ИМХО
@@antonthecraftsman4488 Pueblo, как любая галантерейная кожа РД потянется. На Apple watch это не заметно за счёт дужек, но если крепление будет чётким 22 или 24 мм - будет зазор. А правильная склейка за счёт японского клея и формы. Не хотел Вас оскорбить, или не дай Бог, обидеть 🙂

На последний вопрос я ответил в своем первом комментарии. А на вопрос о патине вы ответили сами. Учитывая то, как развивается диалог не вижу смысла его продолжать, но можете и дальше пытаться поднять здесь свою самооценку (это мне только на руку). Всего доброго :)
Странный способ. Зачем отрезать четыре отрезка кожи и склеивать их между собой, если изначально можно было отрезать два длинных и загнуть посередине? Когда клеишь, обязательно простукивать надо детали, для лучшей адгезии.

Зачем так много дырок для размера руки? Рука у человека растёт или уменьшается. В чем фишка ?
Такое количество отверстий сделано для того, чтобы этот ремешок подходил для разных размеров запястья. Вот и вся "фишка".
