Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.

  • German tanks could help you more for defense, not attack. And another advise for this map, you should first destroy the enemy houses with aircrafts then send a spy to cut the power down, and finally attack with the prism tanks. Keep the good zoom, always nice to watch your videos.

  • Just a thought to make these more entertaining, utilize the special troop more. IE - russia destroy an enemy with tesla tanks / use tesla coils, Libya take down there power and invade with demo trucks, etc

    • Hey, its not that hard - check my video description, download the file, and just drop it into your Red Alert 2 Yuris revenge folder. Watch out! Once you do this you are actually swapping files, and you won't be able to change it in the future. Offers you to make a paste copy for your game folder, and create a separate folder for Extra hard AI mod.

    • Yes, and i tell you why. Untill now, i played with windows 7. The new recording softwares that support 60fps cant record old games like RA2. So i used some old recording software. Now i have windows 10, and windows 10 RA2 version, witch means i can record with new software = albe to record 60fps

  • You keep exposing your prism tanks to fire from enemy base defenses, that's hella cringe. It takes only 1 shot to take those down

    • Hey, try this: Go to your game folder > Search for "RA2.ini" file and edit the "Video" options like that: [Video] VideoBackBuffer=no ScreenWidth=1440 ScreenHeight=900 StretchMovies=no *If you dont have the line "VideoBackBuffer=no", just add it for a smoother game. *If you have Yuri's Revenge expansion, do the same with "RA2md.ini" file. you can set the resolution whatever u want, i use 1440x900. the importent thing is to add video back buffer line!!!

  • The German Tank Destroyers is the worst tank ever. It has difficulty in killing a deployed infantry and will take an hour or so to destroy a Patriot Missile.

  • You did not use the units as they were intended. Too slow to react specially against air threats...Priority should be given to Battle Fortresses with Guardians and a Special Forces Commando for anti Infantry support. Instead you chose to waste your resources on German TDs, Dolphins and ships. Poor resource management.

  • God the Tank destroyer is trash. I could see you trying to make use of them but its almost impossible. It's probably the only unit I would argue is okay to mod or change. The only use I could think for it is to harass harvesters.
