I really like the Dino Dash level. It seems like the most involved chase level in Crash history, and the T-Rex has a nice level of character, stopping periodically to prep for jumps, and even giving up temporarily. I just love the detail.
Having a T-rex to chase you is way more satisfying than a triceratops

It’s odd how they use curse words in this game but for some reason just doesn’t feel forced at all compared to Shadow the Hedgehog...man we really need a good Sonic game....that’s not an Adventure Remake
Sonic Adventure 2 also had curse words but only in the Japanese version. And I agree. Shadow the Hedgehog was awful, but I felt it could've been decent had it not been rushed.
Honestly, a T rated Sonic game would be a nice change of pace. It just has to be done right, of course.
But it doesn't feel forced because they're not in every other sentence. They're used rarely.
@J Foster I agree Generations was probably the last good Sonic game because after that, that's when they made Sonic Boom with those crazy arse designs, I hate Knuckles dumb look in Boom, he looks like he wanted to become a gorilla and just looks awkward and wrong. But I guess I prefer the Boom look than the strange Uncanny Valley humanoid look everyone had in Sonic 06. And Sonic Forces is pretty good, but the graphics weren't as pretty as Generations, everything looked lifeless. I heard this was used as an creative effect since Eggman took over most of the world and so that's the reason the worlds don't look pretty but I also feel like the game developers just said that because they didn't bother to want to polish it to look better. I also wasn't a fan of the avatar thing much although it was an interesting concept, it would've been cooler if you could play as all the original Sonic characters with their different abilities or powers for each stage, but you only play as Sonic whereas everyone else just stays on the sidelines and roots for him. And no one even bothered to try to save Sonic when he was being tortured and rely on a blank slated avatar to save him! It could've been much better than it was for sure.

Bit of a throwback to Wrath of Cortex on 'Hit the Road' with Crash in the Gyrospeare.
Thought the exact same thing! This game has TONS of references to the old ones and even uses some concepts from them and improved them.

Totally agree. I think that monster would've been a perfect boss fight. If traveller's tales did that with the totem god in Twinsanity, then toys for bob could've done the same thing with that fella

A bit weird that the Bears Repeating chase sequence counted but the one in Crash Landed didn't but it's fine
In The Crate Escape Kunupa-Wa was taken but after in Cortex Castle levels we can still use her!
Like how you basically taunt the truck and the T-Rex when you successfully out-run them.
No matter when they go, Crash will always find a way to ride Polar. By the way, How did Polar got here?

@J Foster But the execution is not as funny as it can be for a Crash game. The animation is key to the hilarity.
@J Foster Also the things chasing you in Crash 4 based on what I saw so far has zero personality and doesn't react when Crash loses.
@J Foster You're right he does show more personality than the dinosaur in Crash 3. To be fair Crash 2 and the Polar Bear chase is what I compare all Chase scenes to as in that game even Crash himself had more personality when being chased on some Uncharted stuff. The series have toned it down a little since then as far as I remember.

I don't understand how you're supposed to beat that first chase? I didn't stop, I didn't get slowed down by anything and yet no matter what I do, I get crushed by the boulders. I even skipped going for that gem just in case that's what caused me to fall behind.
