0:47 that was the smoothest transition, ever!
0:51 more like
7:37 is a nice one too
I just straight up yelled dammnnnnnn
You know what the song is at that time?
Agree
That transition 0:51 I think I’m in love
Holy crap that was insane
Me too bro
how to get inspired 101 lol
i saw a similar transition from New York skyline to Paris skyline in a TV show or movie, but couldn't remember which show/movie it is...
@@dt8101 That was in the Marvelous Mrs Maisel. I tried linking it from Twitter but it wouldnt post. Search for 'new york paris transition maisel' and you'll find it.
Very awesome, the Palouse is incredible, can't believe I hadn't heard of it before. • Fun fact (You probably found this while researching Bliss but many others might not know): Even in the years when the Bliss wallpaper was taken, it didn't look like it does in the wallpaper, but was always a Vineyard with the stakes and grapevines. But a couple years before the picture was taken, there was some bug infestation that made them tear out all the vines and stakes, leaving just the hills (and were later put back again, as we see today). The photographer also happened to drive through the area after a rainstorm which left everything particularly green. So the photo itself would only have been possible for handful of total days over those limited years (where it was a clear sunny day after a rainstorm). The perfect time to be taken for XP. We're also lucky that the photographer had the right kind of camera and film, a medium format camera shooting Fuji Velvia, known for having rally saturated colors. He credits much of the success of the photo to the type of film and the larger format (much bigger and higher 'resolution' than normal 35mm). He was also obviously really skilled, having been a photographer for National Geographic. So basically the scene of Bliss was really only something that could have been happened upon by chance, and wasn't some well known photography spot. We're very lucky that the Photographer, Charles, had been particularly watchful that day.

"I don't feel comfortable flying a drone anymore" *cuts to a drone shot*
I read that just as he said it in the video 🤯
true bruh moment
That was so fun to watch! Well done guys!
How is the camper van project going??...two of my favourite KZheadrs❤️
This video really made me feel happy, excellent video capturing and editing. One day I'll go there
Thanks dude!
4th reply 😳
this feels like an HD remake from the groundup of the original bliss also these photos are really neat, feel so fitting for a wallpaper
Yeah
The original Bliss is a large format analog film photo. It's higher def than any high def available.

Glad I'm not the only one who appreciates that transition from Marvelous Mrs Maisel!
.
I knew someone would recognize it! I've been waiting years for the right video to recreate it
0:50 excuse me. You cant just casually pull off such an insane transition
One of the advantages of the OG Bliss, is that it was made with a film camera, and the type of film used rly looks great with the scenery
For as long as I can remember, I've loved grasslands, they give me a feeling of BLISS and comfort and other things that no other landscape does. I always would've thought that beautiful places like this couldn't exist... Guess I was wrong.
Weird right?
Same for me, if you want a similar experience, go through wind turbine databases, and you can find areas similar probably, with wind turbines of course.
You are criminally underrated, the photography and editing is amazing, much love from GB
This is exactly how it is to be a photographer - you can plan everything just right, but you have to let mother nature show you a bit of luck. Amazing video - love the road trip vibes and adventure.
7:37 that was so sick. These transitions are amazing
"I don't think I'm comfortable flying a drone here" *Shows drone shots*
That San Francisco to Seattle transition was gorgeous. And can you do Red Moon Desert next? I'd really love a high-resolution copy of that.
The hill you guys took looks like someone punched the hill and left a massive dent lmao
I need some unsee juice...
@@guicbenites bruh they said at the start the actual one looks different to how it did so they went to a different place, I believe it’s a vineyard now
@@henryyandell3222 ok

the nostalgia that hit me when seeing that is immeasurable
As a non-photographer I was very confused why you didn't fly into a closer airport like Spokane or Pullman, then realized you probably wanted to hit as many of WA's 7 regional climates and corresponding landscapes as possible
The skyline Seattle transition was killer! Great video.
This whole video inspired me to go out, have fun and live life. Thank you guys, I really needed this. 🙏🥺
Taylor is an amazing photographer! Love every single one of his photos! :) And great going on the video ideas as well! :D

The Palouse is one of the most beautiful places to visit during the late spring! Glad you got to visit a part of Washington State most people don't know exists. Steptoe Butte is amazing and I've gotten tons of great shots up there.

Very good video, the music, emotions and script was totally perfect!
Aside from the fact that your wallpapers look a lot better, your soundtrack selection is also amazing. 😻
So glad you came to the Palouse, went to U of I up there and can attest the rolling hills, along with Palouse Falls, are absolutely beautiful. Disappointed I missed you passing through.

Your videos are sick! That transition from San Francisco to Seattle was just 👌
This video has a lot of shots that could be great wallpaper material.
0:56 this transition was crazy🤯
The quality of your Videos is so unbelievable good. Love it.
What I like about you guys is you are dedicated to your goal which is to really find those places and satisfy us, your viewers.
Best video ever!!!! So fun and pleasant to watch 🙌🏻
Same, incredible and brilliant !! Good job guys.
That transition at 0:50 was AMAZING. Keep it up Andrew!
Although I did not grow up with Bliss, I did grow up with the iconography of green hills & blue skies(Frutiger). I can't find other landscapes that match its awe, and that's because Bliss is saturated more. That is a unique aspect of this image, making it 10x easier to remember its beauty.
Great job guys...those pics are fantastic! I love how much fun you guys have...was smiling the whole video! "My Mom's gonna kill me!" Hahaha
In perfect timing for lunch 🙏 love the videos and hope your well
Make more of this please it's so interesting!

That was gorgeous! I said "wow" at least 30 times. Also- love that you ditched apple! :)
The videography is always so STUNNING. Y’all this is so inspiring
The dedication is admirable. 👏 Keep doing what you do!
If I ever see that the bliss hill is back to a hill instead of a vineyard, I’m gonna run on it and roll around in the grass.
Congrats for the production quality on this
You definitely deserve more views and subscribers. Your videos are insanely good.

Love the video. Love the photos! God damn… But are you sure it’s the same place? For me the mountain on the right doesn’t look the same. Is it? I guess you have to back for a third trip just to make sure. 😂😂😂 great video guys! This keeps me missing road trips with my friends.
