There's nothing special about that goal. Normally, attackers aren't afforded that much space in that part of the pitch. Roma were calling for it leaving him unmarked like that.

I put it 2nd behind prem. Juve team practically dying has given it a push to become really competitive. The teams have that belief to win the title with Juve monopoly broken. Now teams like Roma, Atalanta, Inter, Milan etc. Are making a comeback to football and personally I'm loving it.

What a goal WOW goal of the month
It was clear from the beginning that Roma was going to have a hard time getting past Verona's defense. I wasn't convinced on the strategy of having both Eldor and Tammy starting together, and throughout the first half you could see how they were struggling to find each other. The defense wasn't really getting the flow of the game, and it became evident in all the goal plays. Nevertheless, this is a small setback for the team and I'm sure Mou will have the team working to fix those mistakes soon... daje Roma!

I hope this works out as they’ve played together previously and Shomurodov has assisted him and everyone else on the attacking side for that matter, the game in the conference league was the time he took most shots but couldn’t see them through not for the lack of skill but just didn’t do well enough with it on that day. I think the more he plays the more comfortable he gets and as an Uzbek I do have a bias for wanting him to be in the starting 11. Either with or without Tammy, although yes Tammy has way more experience and goals in Europe. Either way, I trust Mou ❤️💛
If Tammy ain't scoring, then it's better he comes in as sub. I think the result reflects a selection that have a toothless attack from the start

What's the thing with "you will see the real mourinho" thing lol.. It's just unlucky day for Roma, they look very tired.. and from the start of season, Mmourinho already said that this is not the best squad to compete for title.. we are weak in defence. Strenghten the defence and rotate more players! When inter get their treble back in 2010, they even lost to Catania and Sampdoria (and their squad are more superior than Roma now). Lose is normal. Respect to Verona for their determination entire match.
The defense did not close down shots well. They let opponents take too many shots. Coaching might fix it but its no guarantee that you can teach an aggressive personality
Defeats happen. Both when you expect it and don’t expect it. When opposing fans criticize you after one loss, pay them no mind. There isn’t a team to ever go a season in all competitions and not lose. Keep pushing on Roma and remember this is a project. Mourinho is a legend but he’s not a magician.
