We first saw this back in January at Shot Show and we finally have them in stock and I must say... I'm impressed. Too bad its a ugly; luckily we can fix that with a Pyramid Trigger Shoe.
Let's start a conversation in the comments! I read every single comment!

Would you install this trigger in your carry Glock?
I wouldn't, but that's just me. But I did install one in my G47 earlier this week.
We need to know what edc triggers are proven to be reliable. Your brand has the capital to carry out an extensive round test with factory glock pistol and magazine. Thanks for your content and passion.
No
More likely to install the Glock performance trigger than the Pyramid - but still no. Going to install the GPT in my home defense gun (19X) as soon as it arrives though.
Naw I'll stick with my stock
6:02 Perfectly set-up the joke... then the classic camera close-up. Lovin' it. 🤣
Yup... "we all call our wife to giggle it a little bit every once in a while" 😉
I was just jiggling it, and it went off in my hand!
I was like, what? 🤣😂
I don’t even own a Gen 5, but I’ll watch Lenny all day long!!
But you do own a glock right? If not that's scary.
Tends to cover basic facts and becomes verbose in his videos.
😂 tell us ur a noob, without telling us ur a noob
@@azcop2 he just regurgitates what his gunsmiths tell him...he clearly doesnt really know shit, himself
@@kawikadavid8958 yea, 3!
As always, very detailed and very educational. Great installation tips. Thanks!
Thanks. I just did my first trigger change with your help!!
Took me less than 10mins. Went from 4lbs 6oz to 3lbs 2oz. GREAT upgrade! Great walkthrough! Thanks for the tips!
Thanks to your instructions it took less than 10 minutes, function checks were excellent. Will get to the range this week. The instructions were 100% spot on.
Wow. I thought I was simply going to learn about an aftermarket Glock trigger but came away with much more. That last segment was a bonus. Thank you.
Hi Lenny. I LOVE your “How To” videos. They are very helpful and easy to follow. Even for someone like me… an aircraft mechanic with 40 years of military and commercial airline experience. I have used a couple different videos so far. I’m going to install the “Pin & Extended Controls Kit along with the 3.5 Trigger Assembly next. Wish me luck!!
I just received the Glock Performance Trigger for my G19X, thanks for the great installation video!
Thanx for the video, simple and feels great, can't wait to go to the range and try it
Thank you so much, Lenny!
Lenny is a good teacher. Everything was really clear.
Got mine the day they came out!! Love it!
Great content and hope to make it to your store some day. Thanks for sharing.
Great instructions. Easy install. Now I’ll order one for my g45. Thanks
Thank you for a well-prepared tutorial.
Top quality wisdom and content for breaking down a Glock with detail; thanks!!!
Thank you Lenny
I used a lone wolf skinny disconnecter with my performance trigger. Shorter reset and even lighter. Point being you can use aftermarket disconnectors with the performance trigger to make it even better. The ghost unit performance 3.0 is the best. I had to mess around and find out. Yeah it’s $40 but I think it’s best for stock trigger housings.
Great video! Thank you so much. I finally have one on the way!
I got mine in a couple of days ago direct from Glock. Got it installed and gonna shoot it tmrw for first time. From dry firing, it seems like an upgrade, as many other reviewers have reported. Thanks for this video Lenny. Not only do you explain the product, you teach a mini armorer’s course and teach a fundaments class. I’m glad I got a chance to meet you at your store in San Diego a couple of times when your guys installed some parts on my duty G17 & G26.
Is it really worth it or better to put in an apex
Dropped mine in today...I dig it. I like how it was a wider trigger face to contact more of your finger
Thanks to Lenny's great Vids... I have cleaned & tweaked all my Glocks. Lenny makes it easy from that roll of blue masking tape to all the things he sells
Great video - very thorough as always
Fantastic video Lenny! I look forward to visiting your store in November 2023. Thank you
Thank you for this. You made it easy to swap it. Super happy with the trigger. Simply awesome. Never really liked the Glock before, but now I might use it instead of the USP.
Good information. Thank you
Very educational, thanks Lenny!
Another great video !Thank you !
Got mine today, thanks GlockStore
Lenny you do an excellent job on these how to videos!!
Thanks for your tutorials and videos. Very valuable, useful. I and my friends who have GLOCKs watch your shows in Lithuania. It's a pity that buying from you in Lithuania is expensive due to customs and fees. Keep up your tutorials, respect to you. :)
Thank you for that!
@6:14 Witnessing Lenny make a “that’s what she said” joke without actually saying it was the best part of this video 😂
Dudes funny as hell.
Lmao
Eagerly watching this video as educational and then I lost it at 6:08 LOL..... I bet your wife did too. Thanks Lenny for adding some humor into the mix.
Thank you great video 👍
Shoe geometry does line up. I have the GLOCK performance trigger in my G34 gen_5 with a gen_1 pyramid trigger shoe installed.
Yes you can change the shoe and the connector to improve the trigger performance.
Went to the Glock store in Nashville and got me a G47 and one of these installed. Haven't shot it but it feels really good dry firing
I wonder how it compares to a stock trigger assembly using only the double-diamond 3.5-lb linkage. I have one on my 17 frame since I didn't want to jump up to the full DD trigger (well it wasn't in stock at the time). from the video, it sounds like it'll be a little shorter. might have to give it a try
Last time I asked my wife to jiggle it a little bit, we were "surprised" with our third child - both of us almost 40. True story.
😂😂🎉🎉🎉🍻
Damn bro she got 😳 that jiggle 😢
Bro... it has three safeties and you sent a round down range? At least you love the target 😂
These vids saved my butt a few times 😂
I respect the hell out of Glock but so thankful I use sig and not as many pins to hammer out and sig using the swing lever. But very cool video thanks
Awesome videos thanks
Good video. I stopped by the Nashville GS, very nice!
Pro tip push on top of the slide stop just above the spring when pushing the pin out
Awesome Lenny Period!!!
Just got mine and installed a plus connector.
Love this trigger. If you like a Glock with Glock parts. Get one. This will put a dent in aftermarket products. Good job Glock.
I stopped watching when he said you need a third hand to jiggle it a little bit. Had to get my wife to follow Lenny's directions.
😂
Excellent instructional video, thank you, installed in less than 10 minutes
How has it held up? Any issues?
My Pyramid trigger finally arrived for my G45. It breaks at 3.5-4, has a wonderfully short reset, and looks great! I actually replaced a Timney trigger with the Pyramid trigger because I found the Timney to be finicky and too light for carry. Really like the Pyramid!
You should try a Johnny Glocks trigger. Jesus the dude has them dialed. I went with the “defensive” one. Awesome.
You can use it in a .40 S&W too, just swap the ejector and you should be good to go.
I run the Glock store pyramid trigger. It’s good to go.
When will these be available for the 48 ? thanks John
Knowing Glock this "performance Trigger costs MORE then the other triggers, I tested it and it's exactly like the G30sf trigger!!! The shorter grip to trigger distance has been shortened and it's a very nice stock trigger for Glock, can't wait until I get my Glock 30sf ported and all custom work with the .460 Rowland conversion!!!! It's literally an auto .44 Magnum!!
Just got mine installed yesterday. It's honestly phenomenal and one hell of an upgrade!
I really like it, because it's still approved for duty use, unlike most other aftermarket triggers.
@@shad0w_resis1ance The box mine came in said the trigger was not for LEO and not NIJ certified. I'm about to graduate from my academy and probably wouldn't carry on duty but honestly for off duty carry purposes I think this thing is phenomenal!
@@LegoLikeDaBlocks24how has it held up? Why wouldn’t you carry it for duty? Is it because you want a heavier pull weight for less chance of an ND or because it’s less reliable than the original?
@@shad0w_resis1ancehow has it held up? Any issues?
Glock Perfection TM. Decent trigger sold separately.
Curious if it's better that the stock trigger with ghost trigger connector?
I got mine and been using it for 2 months now. I notice the reset was a bit rough at first but after a while, it got really smooth. Really liking the whole thing and glad glock finally released a trigger update. I never felt comfortable with after market triggers because I heard a lot of horror stories from NDs. But these are straight from the factory so you know it is safe.
Can you use a different trigger bar with this trigger system? I want to use the performance trigger with the agency trigger shoe/bar
Just got mine in the mail from your store 20 minutes ago. I didn't time it but after watching your video many times, I actually did it. I'm old old man known for breaking off the spark plugs when trying to change them so I do feel redeemed. Trigger feels awesome. Can't wait to get back out to the range this week. Thanks so much.
What's your opinion on the trigger
@@Joaquin546 I just shot it again a week ago. I have probably 400 rounds on the new trigger now. In my opinion the first 100 rounds didn't seem a lot better but now it's beautiful. The break and reset are just terrific. I don't have a trigger gauge but between 3 and 4 lbs. I'm guessing after 60 years of shooting.
@@billhoppe2991no problems at all??
Mr Magill: Unrelated comment/question. Would you consider making a video about the do’s and don’t’s of relocating a successful business to another state? Challenges or surprises other entrepreneurs and family business owners should be aware of for a successful move? Thanks as always for decades of great content! 🤠🇺🇸
Is the process the same on a Gen 1 thru Gen 3 with a aftermarket improved trigger?
Do you have a Pyramid trigger system for the Glock 43x. ?? If so how much ???
Will glockstore be getting the g flex trigger?
What is the best Traeger for the Glock 21 and mag release button
Your website shows it's for Gen 4/5, I ordered one for my Gen 4 34 and Gen 5 45. We shall see if it works in the Gen 4 34.
Will they make one for the slimframes? It would be nice since so many people carry them.
Any news on the flat face Pyramid trigger bar issue for 10mm and .45acp?
I still carry a gen 4 cause I like the finger grooves so its unfortunate its only compatible with gen 5. I honestly don't mind Glock going back and fourth on finger grooves every other generation because it gives people options as far as what they want to carry and I've even seen people go so far as to remove finger grooves on a gen 4. Glad its an option far overdue from Glock but Apex Wilson Combat and Zev beat them to the punch a while ago on aftermarket triggers.
i love my 23g4's
6:10 that camera zoom. 😏
I picked up a couple right after they came out direct from Glock. I like them a lot, and they're much better than the Timney I tried. I wish I could get my money back for that POS.
I've developed nerve damage in my trigger finger and thumb so I am looking for a trigger that is lighter and less travel. Considering this one and wondering if this would be what I need.
Just installed mine. Makes an absolute world of difference
How has it held up? Any problems?
I have been using glock factory triggers for years. Have never installed an after market trigger , so I can not comment on all the after market trigger assemblies. But I just installed THE GLOCK performance trigger and headed to the range today :). It was eye opening !!!! Still normal take up but with hardly no pressure , then hitting a medium wall ..but noticable !!! Then just an amazing CRISP BREAK :) !!!!! Then relaxed to the very audible reset. It was close and crisp :) AND BANG !!!!!! That sexy sound of lead SPANKING STEEL !!!! There is a reason Mr. Magill ordered THOUSANDS of these ...they are far and away WICKED SHOOTERS :) There in stock at the real GLOCK STORE ..FACTORY DIRECT :) No bs you get Glock reliability with a sweet ass trigger ...I will do a 4000 round review in 3 weeks...let's hope I'm still this happy in 4000 pew pew's hahahahah😂😂😂
It will not come close to the Timnely Alpha Comp. trigger that's been out for sometime now.
@@arlissyoung8899 for the money it does....... and when something costs half as much and does the same thing... kind of a no brainer really.
@Kosem72 Does it take any of the very long pretravel out, long reset and mushy, spongy break out? With the Timnely for sure does and for those that don't like pre travel it can be adjusted. Money wise I can see someone going with the Glock Performance trigger if it helps because all mine where beyond reason. The best out of all broke at over 6 lbs. most of them 6 1/2 to 7 with that very long pre travel, horrible spongy break and long reset. Glock has been a long time coming to do something.
@@AverageGIJoeOutdoors As Mr. Glock said, it takes a "little" of the pre travel out and as he said still a long reset. Yes it may be cheaper but you still will not get what the Timnely will do if as person is looking for a true Comp. style trigger. You can even adjust the pre travel on the Timnely if one wants to. I did one that way it's a little to touchy with no pre travel. Pay $100.00 dollars get a $ 100.00 dollar trigger, pay $ 130.00 - $ 160.00 and get even more if that's what a person is looking for. It's in what a person is looking to get out of what they are paying for all in all. I like little pre travel, clean crisp break with little reset, I get all that and more out of my Timnely triggers. Get them on sale at Midway sometimes $129.00.
How did it hold up? Any problems?
what would the performance trigger pull at if you changed out the connector to the double diamond 3.5?
hello from PUERTO RICO!!!
Bought 2 and they fit in my G23gen4. It feels funky but good. The other is in my g47 and feels awesome.
thanks wanted to know if it would fit in glock 23 gen 5
@@leehitsslots9133 I'm going to see. I have a gen 3 and gen 4 G23. My cousin has a G23 gen 5. Last month we literally swapped everything including LWD conversion barrels. I'm gonna get a range session next week and this will be the 1st thing we try. By the way , they are now 89.99 on botach.
@@tanhelmet thanks for the info bro i think you just change the ejector then you’re good
@@leehitsslots9133 i did have to swap the slide plates to fit. The 2 channels are more pronounced. I use the strike industries because the 3 pack was 12 bones. I did mount the g23 gen 5 onto the gen 4 and everything worked.
sorry for bothering you one more thing could you check the barrel compatibility with gen 4 to gen 5 barrel thanks
Cost of Glock performance trigger an what's the cost if it gets install by you
I had the 3.5 lb sear in my old Glock 27 and it was too light.
Sir,jst wanna ask is gen 4 ejector pin can fit to gen 5 trigger housing?
Dose it fit or would it work on a 43x mos or is there something coming for the 43x ???
Hi Lenny, does the performance trigger include a (-) connector? If not, can it be added to it?
This trigger upgrade will probably help your indoor range experience with paper targets. However, if you practice outdoors shooting and moving after drawing from a holster then it probably won’t make “that much” of a difference since your focus is on the drill. I still shoot gen 2’s and 3’s, I never wanted to mess with the factory triggers but knowing this kit is from Glock it’ll probably give you some peace of mind.
This right here
I mean that is totally why competition guns all have 7lb triggers in them right?......
@@AverageGIJoeOutdoors I wouldn’t know, I have never competed. I just practice for self defense.
@@EchoSigma6 you have to complete to practice for self defense. Otherwise you are not testing yourself under pressure.
@@bloodycrepe Point taken.
I just installed one in my psa dagger.
When they make one that fits my gen 3 22 I will buy one
Is this one partially cocked back “firing pin” until you squeeze the trigger like stock? Or does it cock all the way back an sit on a firing pin block ? One step
I'm almost at 1k and I say they are totally worth it best triggers in my opinion for the glock by glock...as soon as I installed the trigger I went to break it in and what best to break it in by doing the famous Tier1Concealed The Three Sevens drill and I got the drill down video on my channel done with a glock 45 mos
need to make these for g43x and gen 5 g20
Got Q. What type of CONNECTOR do these have??? Is it a " - " ( minus )..????
Lenny is the best.
I handled it at the german gun show last month. I couldnt feel a huge difference. Also my gen5 is well broken in so i dont think im going to upgrade
Well imagine a broken in performance trigger
Well damn I’m still in love with gen 3 I don’t have any gen 5
i raced gen3 glocks for years with lots of wins - Ghost trigger setup - the thing rocked :D stick with it
the Glock Performance Trigger doesn't reset to the rear for dry firing.
Well explained! I can’t stand seeing people say “I need a heavy trigger to be safe” then you see them pulling shots off paper. That’s someone else you didn’t intend to hit in a defensive situation. Just like you see police emptying mags and hitting bystanders with New York triggers.
Tried for a while, had to keep it cleaner than my Timney Alpha so I took it out. .
I just shoot the heck outta my Glocks and put the 17 trigger in 19 , 23 , and 26 & 27 . Only other thing I change is connector with a Double Diamond connectors that are awesome upgrade. Also I never use hammer on pins but use polymer punch one hand and lift push on pin comes right out . 43X & 48 are a bit tough but not a problem.
Will it work for the g19 and g44
