Nothing more fun for a DM than putting an un-trapped door in a dungeon full of traps. I once had a DM give us a room with a black and white tiled floor where every tile went 'click' when you stepped on it. It stopped our party for an entire session while we tried to bypass the trap. There was no trap, it was just a load of tiles that went click.

Well, four adventures as well. One adventure per session, and then the sessions are split up into multiple episodes for easier viewing. But yeah, Johnny's run four adventures for the crew (The Spicy Rat Caper, A Spot of Bother, Wild Wild Woods, and An Orcward Encounter) and if I recall correctly he'd DMed a bit before that as well.
Dob before mission: "Yeah Alfred, you can totally have 50%. Let's shake on it." Dob after mission: "Alfred, you get only two coins."

I've never played DnD, have never had the chance or even seen so much as a game piece in real life. Watching these always makes me wanna play it so much more.
Mike, from Texas and adding to it, on the internet you can easily find the player's handbook, which will help you create s character.
ive never played the game either but ive played games set in the forgotten realms expansion like baldurs gate.
Hey Mike and Will, DnD and its variants are a lot of fun. Two popular campaigns that are run in homes, game stores and at conventions all over the world are Adventurers League and Pathfinder Society. Do a search for those or look on Warhorn.net to find games close to you.
Finding a group to play with can be difficult. If you really want to play, GM. I put up a thing on the D&D Subreddit looking for players to fill up the party. Within a half hour i had 5 replies for the 2 players. And the world can always use more GM's.
And don't be intimidated by the literal books-worth of rules. The stuff you'll be using all the time will sink in pretty easily :) If you are playing D&D 5th edition, you can use the engl393-dnd5th.wikia.com/wiki. Just type "classes", "races", or "spell list" in the search bar to get all the information you need on those things. If you want to buy the books, there are four important ones: the "Player's Handbook" (or PBH), the "Monster Manual", "Xanathar's Guide to Everything", and the "Dungeon Master's Guide" (mostly if you want to GM, but useful none the less).

You know, I always thought it’d be Corazon or even Dob who’d attempt to seduce someone first, not Prudence attempting to seduce.... evil... Dob... out to drinks. Huh. Kind of awkward. That’s gotta put a bit of a strain on the group dynamic back on the ship. Especially with how she eldritch *destroyed* him when he said no...
*Evil* Dob. Evil Dob rejected her. We can't forget about the "evil doppelganger called forth from the magic macguffin" part of that, regular Dob didn't do anything. Somehow though, I feel Prudence may not really care enough at the moment to make that distinction. Both Tieflings and Warlocks aren't generally known to be merciful or rational when it comes to vengeance after all, and Prudence is both.
Oh. Yeah, definitely. Explains her disproportionate reaction. I mean, Evil Dob was trying to kill them but I think we all know the real reason she Eldritch Blasted him. And what I was saying is that I don't think she's going to be that happy with regular Dob either for the next few days, because even though it's not the Dob that she blew up for blowing her off it's still a Dob. That said, I like their relationship too. It does kind of fit the bill of cool, older sister. At the moment at least.

If you were raised by a grumpy hermit in a cave away from civilization, only to find out when you first encounter that civilization that everyone is actually really Tiefling-racist towards you, and then signed a pact with Cthulhu out of spite, teenage pique, and probably no small degree of hurt then I’d imagine it’d probably give you a tsundere streak.

You guys are the reason I tried out D&D and just recently had my first game. I wanna say I was as cool and awesome as Dob but sadly ended up being the Egbert of our party. I did, however, roll a 19 to do a bottle flip to impress a bar maiden, so that was cool.

Seconded; I had a buddy try to kick a door open one time, turned out it was a mimic that proceeded to eat his leg. The worse bit? The mimic wasn’t even mimicking a door in a doorframe, it was just resting against a blank stretch of wall. So he got his leg eaten for no reason
