you can bet there are hours of footage of him drawing owl and insta quitting.
I think that he should enable the win rate on the tracker at least, inexperienced players could get hard baited into crafting a shit deck just because they saw a few good games. The decks are fun for sure but lets at least not bait ppl into thinking they are actually good and waste their dust and rank.

At least this Colifero has some form of redundancy in the form of Shattered Reflections. With that you can shuffle Owlonius back into the deck, if you survive long enough.

I think it was Day9 that said something like "Playing a combo deck is like having to bake a cake, while you're in a house that's on fire. And you have to try to stay alive while dodging burning rubble and stuff while also baking that cake." I think this deck perfectly encapsulates that feeling.

@@ben8929 actually it's 12 mana 12/12 stats on board with 8 spell damage(16 spell damage with locations). If you have discounted damage spells + Funnel Cake it's lethal.
I typically like watching Chump play a lot, but these all-in combo decks are kind of a snooze-fest to me.

Fun deck but most games go like this: Scenario A: You manage to ramp with colifero in hand and do the combo Scenario B: You have colifero but end up drawing Owl and don't draw Reflections or you draw it too late Scenario C: the enemy just overpowers you by turn 7 because you have not drawn any taunt or drawing cards, only combo pieces Most cases are B and either play like game 5 in this video or we get rushed down by small minions
Reading these comments makes me wonder how long people have been watching Chump. A good bit of his content is fun memelord content not hyper serious meta breaking top tier shit…. The man lives in dumpster legend and I’m here for it. :P

it's just 2^x * y, where x is the number of owl's you control and y is the total base spell damage you have. Say you have 3 owl's, and the two locations out on board as like in the first game: 2^3 * 5 = 40 total spell damage, plus the 4 base from swipe and that gets you 44. So just do 2^x * y, it's easier.

Ah yes, it's that time of the expansion cycle again, where Druid breaks an 8+ mana Neutral minion that probably would have never seen play otherwise. Since Warlock and Wheel of Death are already problematic in Wild, that means we can probably expect Rogue to get an exceptionally stupid and busted card in the mini-set that almost immediately gets nerfed.
Hands down one of the most frustrating chump decks I’ve ever tried to pilot. Owlonius just refuses to stay in my deck. Draw him on the combo turn 100/10 times.

@@Gavinbelson huh? lower rank = higher number, as in farther away from from the top/leader. Legend 1 is highest rank but the lowest number. He went from 11k to 15k, so did worse.

There's shattered reflection + sparkling phial. you can play it on the owl same turn if you have 1 extra spell damage (owl 7 mana, sparkling phial 3 mana, it will do 6 damage with owl and +1 spell damage which gives a 6 mana discount on the next card played)
nah, just add in the pendant of earth to tutor out colifero, 3/4 chance you draw califero before owl, plus a bit more chance with the bottomless toy chest

I assume that is why the reflections are in the deck - to force shuffle another Owlinius into the deck after you've drawn both
"Their armor doesn't matter, I had another 120+ from hand" just shows how shit design HS has these days. Compare to old Freeze mage vs Warrior matchups, where Mage telegraphed the burn, Warrior could try and heal and armor up out of it, but Mage could also stall more in response... That was kino compared to this drooling fiesta HS has been for several years now.

Ideal RNG on every roll after, yeah, every game is a 50/50. Way worse in practice, too, since you could draw both or miss the combo pieces.

I don't think you realize how big the disadvantage is in your pack of cards, with this legendary you are completely open until 10 rounds, during which time you can lose the match without having a chance to counter, the chance of winrate in your pack is 4% the rest there are only losses, you don't take into account the fact that there are players who attack you from the front and they don't care what you try to do at the end after you have arranged the cards on the battlefield!!

you chose the wrong direction and order of the cards in this deck, it's absolutely disastrous, this deck is strictly for losing matches, you don't have lifesteal, you don't have taunt, you don't have draw cards from the deck and many others!!!
Yes but chump is a true gamer so he draw in the good order and his opponent draw poorly so he can't kill him before the combo.

Why aren't you using snake oil salesman? The 0 mana deal zero damage would be extremely beneficial in your deck. It also gives you a way to throw it back into the deck and get draw out of it...
