I am 60 years old now and I loved this song as a child. I believe I was around 8 years old or so! Karen's voice was one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. She is sorely missed. God rest her soul in heaven for as far as I can tell, she is just one of the Lord's many treasures (among many others), that will be singing praises to the King of all creation for all eternity.

Such a feelin's comin' over me There is wonder in most every thing I see Not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eyes And I won't be surprised if it's a dream Everything I want the world to be Is now comin' true especially for me And the reason is clear, it's because you are here You're the nearest thing to Heaven that I've seen I'm on the top of the world lookin' down on creation And the only explanation I can find Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around Your love's put me at the top of the world Somethin' in the wind has learned my name And it's tellin' me that things are not the same In the leaves on the trees and the touch of the breeze There's a pleasin' sense of happiness for me There is only one wish on my mind When this day is through I hope that I will find That tomorrow will be just the same for you and me All I need will be mine if you are here I'm on the top of the world lookin' down on creation And the only explanation I can find Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around Your love's put me at the top of the world

@@DarkElfSimp no it won't it's a zoonautic virus meaning it spreads from animals. Getting rid of it completely means getting rid of animals. Unless we find a vaccine that gives immunity for a long time, it won't fully go away. If you think the vaccine we have now works and gives immunity, you're wrong. It only decreases severity of the virus if you get it, meaning you could still get it.

My mom would sing this all the time while I was young, so now I'm singing it to my new born daughter! Passing on grandma's love!

Mine was not an"English Medium"school.Though I had some exposures of Nat King Cole,Jim Reeves,Padboune,Dean Martin and a few more in my college days I got to know Carpenter just after graduation in 1977.From the onward the love for her songs is unabated.I am now 67.
Then
Mom would sing to this when I was just a kid. She’s been gone over 7 years yet her memory still lasts through the carpenters. ❤️🌺
My aunty sang this to me almost every night I spent with her. Also (sandy and her puppy dog by dolly Parton.) Not a day or night goes by that this song and memory doesn't cross my mind. 💯💖

I’m sorry to say this but that time will never come. Even if this virus is almost completely gone, everyone will be wearing masks because it will never be fully gone.
