  • I'm about 98% sure that guy ate his own toast. The victim said it himself, he doesn't like the crust. If he ate his own toast, he would certainly leave the crust, just as the culprit did. Additionally, I know from experience that toast can be eaten remarkably quickly. There would be no problem for the guy to eat one piece of toast on the way to the bathroom, and then another on the way back to the kitchen. This could all be done within 2 minutes, ESPECIALLY if he did the unsanitary act of eating the toast IN the restroom.

The only logical explanation is that he fell asleep on the toilet for 1h and 2 minutes as a daylight savings time was coming into effect making him think only 2 mins had past. This is would be when he sleep walked back to the kitchen, ate the toast and walked back to the bathroom.

See, for example, how some smart editing completely changed the ending of the very first Star Wars movie, helping it become the smash-hit phenomenon we know and love today. Compare that to the prequels and sequels, which were badly written and badly edited. I've seen how better editing can dramatically improve Attack Of The Clones (terrible title BTW).

    • Editing is the fundamental art-form of film, everything else is an extra - even the photography is subservient to the editing. An editor can make a film with a few newspaper cuttings... or a shaky phone video, anything. Watch a film by someone who thinks acting is the fundamental and hasn't learned anything about editing and it'll be terrible... The inverse can work fine because a good editor can make bad actors look passable. The editing however is too complex for most viewers to understand so it goes generally unnoticed. ...As in music the songwriter goes unnoticed... everyone applauds the singer.

      @JesseP.Watson@JesseP.Watson Жыл бұрын

I'm actually in the process of editing a feature film documentary right now and I'm so overwhelmed it's not even funny lol So many options, so easy to overthink everything. You know what they say give the same film to 1000 editors and you will get 1000 different films back 🥵

  • The other thing you need is him talking about his mom of some other character And the screen cuts to the mom sitting down, and the crew kinda getting her ready, like a mic check or something. I swear this happens in like every Netflix documentary.
