Can i use it with a Chromebook laptop
I havent tested it on a Chromebook tbh But it is compatable with windows Mac and Mobile so i would assume its also OK with Chromebook it is Very Diverse in compatability and connects Via Bluetooth

Every review video I've seen for thermal printers, the KZheadr decides to print pictures of dogs and other pointless graphics. People will be buying this to print letters, emails and invoices...show us an example of how they print, FFS! No one is buying this to print pictures.
You are actually correct, Valid point... I will make note of that for the next Printer video, I chose pictures because its putting the printer under load with heavy printing which is a test i run but i will also add letters and such things in the next one thanks for the tip and Thankyou for taking the time to comment and i hope you Have a Great Day

@@REALLYRANDOMREVIEW5 I bought the M832 as it was cheaper than the one in your video (only £118.99 versus £150) - I don't know why the other one was more expensive...but I didn't want to spend too much as I don't print that often! There is a local shop near me that prints stuff, butI don't like going there with personal / confidential letters - would rather print at home! Expensive for me though!

Thank you so much for your reply. I had bought a longer wire for charging my printer, initially. And that was the issue. Printer did not like the new wire . and could not charge it from my laptop either. But I used the short wire that was supplied with my printer. And now it is charging the battery. Thank you so much.

I enjoyed the review, it covered the bases, but must make 1 observation, never print contracts on thermal paper. You might end up with a blank sheet with your signature on it.

Thanks for the video and I have to say I spent most of the video trying to listen to the birds. Considering it's like 11:00pm the birds are up pretty late, lol.

I see a lot of comments talking about propietary papers, there are none, you'll only need thermal papers for this type of printer, they're dirt cheap.

I hope it means they included the tattoo transfer paper so the printer will be 300 dpi which is better quality prints just seems they included a set of tattoo paper instead of thermal paper I had this happen before too if you don't have any thermal paper you do need some

can this print regular 4x6 inch shipping label as well? Using continuous shipping label roll or stack, that is, not feeding one sheet at a time.
i imagine it could do my friend in theory .. provided it was aligned correctly and scaled correctly in the App maybe one of the smaller ones would be more suitable for this task though Maybe the M220 or Pocket Printer i do have a Lable printer to check out from Phomemo which may also be better suited for continuous lable printing next Thermal video coming soon

Does it work while charging ? I don't know why people never ask this question when it comes to electronic gadgets because eventually the battery is going to wear out ! It would be great if it worked chorded. Does it?

How to charge it. I have plugged up and let charge for over one hour and it still will not stay on so that I can print . It has worked when I first purchased but not now . I only use it when I travel.
Are you using the correct USB lead also try another one just icase it is faulty and check the power supply is sufficient for eg Mine wouldn't charge from My PC but does from the wall and my Other printer does Charge from the PC hopefully its just a small issue like that otherwise im not sure what could be the problem it just charges as normal in my case

How to fix the consumables? Mine looked lifted after 6 months
Im not sure i understand your question my friend ! If you mean the image quality faded it may do this for several reasons direct sunlight can speed the effect up and heat can also introduce un wanted spots on the pages I Think they will get better over time and always try to use a good quality paper it may also help preserve the life span of prints
Can I use normal a4 peper instead of thermal paper? Did you try it?
It won't work unfortunately it need s to be thermal paper yes which i hope we have other solutions to in the future

Hello ! Yes my friend the Phomemo App is required for the Prints it connects via Bluetooth though not Wifi so no Details or passwords are required etc
How long does the lettering last does it fad quickly
non of mine have faded yet my friend thats after a few months Im not entirely sure i think it will fade over time and definately if the print is in direct sun light but they last a good while my friend

The pages look very unruly / curly. Do different brands lie FLAT? Will the printer CUT off sheets when using a ROLL of thermal paper?
Thanks for commenting yes I think a paper holder would solve the flimsy issue it's curled up as they stored it in the box folded it's usually ok tbh as for a roll yes there's teeth along the top so you would just tear it off its quite neat and accurate I hope this helps my friend have a great Day / Evening
How long do the batteries last
Battery life is Very good my friend i couldn't say in terms of time but its days for me depending on how heavily its used, as that would affect battery life but for me it lasts days at a time with moderate use

Ink is not used in this printer but expensive paper has to be purchased for it. Will it cost more or less than a regular printer?
That is a Fair Point, i do think the Paper should be a far cheaper option or even free but Inks are more expensive in my opinion and also these printers are limited in functionality Pictures and images not being great unles they are black out line drawings for tattoo or charts etc then they are good but your right the paper refil is still an Issue I Hope a solution is found soon tbh
thermal paper can buy 4$ 100 pcs, not expensive, have little expensive than ink but not lot.

Your English is better than some English people its fine I understand My Friend ; ) The prints last a long time yes im impressed with them if they are on a wall or direct sun light this may affect it over time but i have noticed no issues with prints 6 months old or more my Music sheets for eg are as good as the day i printed them ..thanks for your comment , Be sure have a great Day

yes cirtainly you could print anything like online recipts and bank statements etc

My Win10 laptop doesn't detect it through USB-C (mandatory) though I installed the drivers and the installation finished successfully. It does show as a BlueTooth printer but you can't print to it either. The only printing that works is from my Android phone using a custom app. All sorts of red flags about safety and data protection come to mind in any case.

I just got one of these thinking it was a regular printer. So they came with foil like paper? Is there a regular paper to print? I guess that's thermal paper? I'm confused 🤔
I m not entirely sure what has happened there Maybe ,... Just maybe you got lucky and the new updated version with a paper foil type element inside and tattoo scetch papers included If this is the case they are the improved Printer i have one here and the print quality is much better i believe there also working on Color i hope thats what has happened with yours Normal thermal paper should still work aswel im curently Testing the New Phomemo A4 and a USA version similar I hope you got the better version : )

Unfortunately Not Thermal printing still needs a way to go before we have colour Printing ... from this type of machine... there good for print and scheduals etc

Hi what paper are you using for Tattoo s ? i think there is a special 2 sheet transfer paper if your using normal thermal sheets this wont work ! if you are using the correct paper / stencil paper then im not sure as im not that clued up with tattoo stencils if im honest

How do I make my image smaller when printing
Sorry for the late reply ok In the app you should be able to pinch the image like a normal photo using your finger and thumb on screen if the image wont move its locked try pressing the corner of the box around your image it should go red meaning its able to be edited i hope this helps if your still stuck reply to the comment i will try to help you out Have a Great Day
Does anyone know how to make the picture full size that you're stenciling
if you tap the picture while on the selection part a little box should appear around the edge normally with a little red x click this and it should allow you to edit just use your finger and thumb pinch and expand on screen like you would to zoom into any photo etc if your still stuck give a little more detail and i will try to help you out .. Yes I still use mine its not daily use but been in use around a year now in total its well built and as long a there is paper i assume it will keep printing like everything it will have a life span but id say fairly long in this case

Unfortunately No my Friend ! it does need the Thermal Paper, I hope they find a solution for this Though as Normal paper would make it an Ultimate Game Changer

@@mosesabraham1492 yes if you print a lot you would need to You buy them Bundles of like 500 sheets but yes you need to buy the paper seperate although you do get a few sheets to start off with but only around 20 or 25 pages
Replacing thermal paper will probably be just as irritating as replacing ink
actually it is : ) it's annoying... but i think a little less time consuming or effort required ''maybe'' lol I do prefer Thermal for Quick and easy printing also for my musical sheets and memo s There handy but im not sure a Direct replacment for the current industry standard just yet its developing quickly too

Good question ! not that i can see... maybe over time if left in direct sun light but no problems so far i will do a test and add it to my next Phomemo Video on the Mini
Really depends on quality of paper and storage conditions. Scratching, heat, direct sunlight can ruin such paper. I bought several different paper options for a similar printer with claim to retain picture for 3 and 10-15 years. But they are clearly susceptible to harsh conditions and even 10 years paper gets scratched easily. But I got several rolls of thermal transfer paper that practically creates a real ink-based image on paper that should permanently retain information and the paper doesn't change its color on heating.
Temu has them way cheaper, like 80-90 usd. And the paper
yes there are loads of similar ones and various brands varying in Price i have seen these around £100 I would recommend Phomemo over most though in my experience thay have been the most relyable and best Quality over all
@@REALLYRANDOMREVIEW5 same printer sell many shop, cost 80-130$ and expensive not have any better than cheap, what sell, some have different brand about 10$ cheapen but more worst resolution max only 200 DPI.

No there is No Color with this one but i Believe there are some color ones available now im currently looking into them hopefully we get hold of one soon : )

What happens to the paper after print and you put it under the sun.
This would likly ruin the print or bleech it i can do a test but i have seen it degrade in direct sun light or very hot surfaces in summer for eg

You Can there are better suited Printers for smaller Tasks but in theory sure it could cause problems with image size or scale though im not sure how you would re size images correctly but im sure you could do it I did a Recent Video on the Peripage A4 which is also designed for A4 and various other sizes papers and labels maybe look around before making any decissions I hope you have a Great Day
You only have black and white no colour printer? The paper doesn't come out smoothly, it's is folding maybe you need to apply a simple tray on this printer otherwise it's nice one.
Yes I think a Paper tray would certainly help and there was no color but im starting to see color options in a few of the apps so i believe there is a way to print in color now too i will have more on the channel soon regarding printers and updates etc thanks for taking the time to comment and have a Great Day !

No colour printing with this version unfortunately But there are some colour thermal printers starting to show up on the market I hope to see one soon but this one is basically just black and white

No not yet my friend but I did start to see advertising in the App for color so I guess we'll be able to print in color soon with thermal printers
Not any better in my opinion, you have to buy thier prorietary paper. Which sucks. I havea samsung laser printer, I have had it for 10 years and have only replaced the toner once. I garantee the cost of their paper is more expensive.
I agree i wish they could find a solution for that as That is a great Point ! I still think they have there uses cases though and Laser printers are just excellent

Not normal Xerox Printer paper no it does need to be thermal paper ! but i think they do actually have thermal paper too at Xerox

yes i have seen a few variants or similar printers for a little less than these but Phomemo are making a name for themself with good quality free app and support etc you can find deals and some a little cheaper though for sure
I dont like it,too much bad points when use in hot environment as will damage all page😂 or if you leave at sunlight… Thermal paper is more expensive then normal ordinary and not available like normal printing paper at every store/shop.

I agree i think they should find a way to use normal paper ! Although the Paper refils are less expensive than ink but still the point remains there is a after sales requirment with most Printing services which should be changed in my opinion

Btw is noisy like hell🙄😑 when printing and for this price you can buy a ink portable printer which is for me way better…and stay longer printed page without any worry that will damage from any worm or HoT environment 🤦♂️🤷♂️
i actually missed the hot enviroment issue at first but did come into an issue myself i printed music sheets and left them under a light strip which gets quite hot it made circular spots on the paper where each LED was so i am aware of scortching on the paper hopefully that can be solved in future and some are noiser than others i have 4 machines each with a different sound / noise signature i will also add a sound test and heat test to future reviews Thanks for taking the time to comment and have a great Day

It depends on your requirments but to some it wouldn't be worth it, I think your right ! but for Tattoo Artists and Business's Or using it on the Go its one of the best solutions. The paper isn't that expensive and is getting cheaper all the time although i still think thermal printing has a way to go in terms of Technology

interesting buy, ,,, but have worst, looking resolution and have totally poor shit resolution not can print good stencil newer. 200 DPI -300DPI only, totally worst, lot better buy epson ecotank printer little more money and can print lot lot better. this cost 85-110$ and ecotank printer 150-200$
resolution is limited if your trying to print a high res image or detailed then yes it will struggle thats not its intended use case its more for business and hobbys its not for everyone
