  • People who hate on crossfit are just sore bc they know they wont be able to keep up with the workout, they know they’re not as strong, fast, or have enough endurance. The point of crossfit isnt solely to lift as heavy as possible or to get bigger. You can’t judge navy seals training for not giving them enough sleep, too much tension on muscles and joints, or improper forms bc they’re literally too tired. Crossfit is to get fit in every aspect just like the military style training. Those athletes know what they’re doing. I was in the army and i loved crossfit as they were actually helpful to get fit for trainings and stuff. I only do weightlifting now but i still have respect for crossfit.

    @jdude222@jdude2223 жыл бұрын
    • If you want gain more strength it usually alot of factors come to play make sure you eat enough food and the right macros for you and low reps on your sets and train at least 80% of your pr till you feel the lift is easier once the weight feels more comfortable then you move up in weight by small increments like 15 pounds

      @yomama349167123@yomama3491671232 жыл бұрын

  • What’s up with the tiebreakers ? The race to five reps clean ? Every single time one of the guys was not even squatting at all and would essentially cheat the reps to take the position , why did the judges not say anything ?

    @aaronchamberlain8814@aaronchamberlain88142 жыл бұрын
    • Hi Aaron. The tiebreak did not require a squat clean. Based on the weight, athletes could clean however they chose to race to the finish. You can find the details here: games.crossfit.com/announcement/11746

  • I really want to see Clarence Kennedy in the CrossFit games. He snatches 385 for a warm up.

    @IIProtecII@IIProtecII2 жыл бұрын
    • Clarence would dominate the snatch, clean and jerk, and deadlift. But he'd come in dead last in every other event. He wouldn't even be able to keep up with the women. Don't get me wrong, Clarence is a beast. But he's an Olympic lifting specialist.

    • @@tjcogger1974 HE also did gymnast stuff and he does tricking as well, believe me he would take some them on a few other events. But he would surely have trouble with endurance events

      @five7579@five75792 жыл бұрын
    • @@five7579 Clarence has never trained any gymnastics. Only tricking and acrobatics. There are no tricking events in CrossFit. He could certainly learn all the CrossFit gymnastic skills pretty quickly if he wanted to, but gymnastics is really a only a small aspect of CrossFit. Pretty much everything in CrossFit is endurance based. There's very few events that are pure displays of raw power/strength. Even all the gymnastic events are endurance based. (AMRAP muscle-ups for time, AMRAP ring hand stand pushups for time, etc.). Knowing how to perform the skill efficiently is only the first step.

      @tjcogger1974@tjcogger19742 жыл бұрын
    • The guy is a gifted athlete. No doubt he would dominate in any weightlifting event. With some training I'm sure he would do well in other events as well.
