  • I remember my first time having crawfish sitting on a dish. I was like 6 or 7 and we were at a restaurant at a covention center. I got spinach with potatoes and egg and they had put a crawfish on it, I don't know why. I asked my dad to eat it bc "I don't want my food looking at me" xD nowadays I would just eat it myself

  • I was at dinner in London about 20 years ago when I made the mistake of calling HERBS…ERBS like Mike is doing. Correction came immediate when my Brit friends pointed out the H isn’t silent. Basically said, “ you know it’s got an f***in H init don’t you yank”? Been saying Herb ever since.

    • They're wrong. The H was silent in British English until the 19th century. North America retains the original pronunciation with a silent H, originally from French.

    • Honestly i believe adding hot oil and vinegar takes away the natural flavors of a dish. Maybe he has noticed this and decided to lay off and actually try the dish before adding hot oil and vinegar
