  • 20:56 HEEEEEY I DID THAT ONCE!! That effect is hilarious! And i know how to do it: So, there is a stock simulation with pulsars in it, and THOSE have that exact same effect. The only way i know to get that effect on a planet is to save that object from the stock sim, paste it into your own and then fiddle around with it until it turns into a planet, after wich you can customize it however you want.

  • The gas giant you made has a density of 0.00838 g/cc... 6.84 times more dense than air, or many times less dense than saturn. Pretty sure at that density the planet would dissipate.

  • Me watching this: Planets need to be at least 3% earth's mass to sustain an atmosphere in the habitable zone. Also they preferably need to be at least the mass of mars to have an iron core large enough so that electrical currents can convect through the planets interior, allowing for a magnetic field to protect the atmosphere from being stripped away by solar wind.

  • 23:26 A gas dwarf is a gas planet with a rocky core surrounded by a thick atmosphere of hydrogen. The closest thing to that in our system is Titan, so they weren’t that far off

  • Suggestion: Make the trisolaris system. It is out of the book series the three body problem and i thought you could do how it looked at the end of the first book. So there are three stars of unknown sizes and they all orbit each other. This is mathematically impossible to predict so i don´t know what the computer will do. There is only one Planet but in broke in half at the end of the book. So there are two planets binary with each other and one has life and one doesn´t

    • @@vertigo9886 The three body problem is a science fiction book. and in it is a system with three suns that all orbit each other. There is only one planet which broke in half at the end of the book and turned into two bynary planets.

  • Fun fact: one of universe sandboxes unrealistic detail is the colour of Neptune. Neptune’s actually light blue in the voyager 1 photo. Even though voyager 1’s camera is black and white, it’s completely gave a description of Neptune’s colours and the scientist that received the image stacked the images and got a light blue planet photo.

  • Objects needed to realistically make a planet. First put fragments second put asteroids in the fragments nos you have your planet round. You do the rest.
