Minecraft with the following mods:
This is in my opinion the most playable and realistic look of minecraft. Good framerate and great visuals on rtx 3080. Patrix is a great resource pack for the no cubes mod as it supports many connected textures through optifine.
This time we will be exploring the world!

    • He just pulled his wallet out and bought a good PC. PS5 wouldn't be able to run this. It'd be basically unplayable, AMDs ray tracing isn't nearly as good as Nvidia plus the consoles GPU is down clocked because Sony and Microsoft don't know how to add more than 1 fan to the goddamn case. So yeah, on PS5 this would be like 15 fps.

  • The rain sound effects at 7:46 honestly should be that way in the jungle currently. The birds chirping and ambient sound. It would be cool if each biome had different weather based on it's biome

  • My favorite thing about voxel-based games is that they were designed specifically so you could have massive randomly generated open worlds without having to have a ridiculous amount of processing power, or worrying about how the graphics would mesh together. And as soon as it came out we have continued to ask how do we make it less cubey? Absolutely phenomenal.

    • Even the best of modern pcs in the gaming market can't quite cut it for that kind of workload imo. Maybe it'll change with quantum computing CPUs compared to the relatively weak traditional CPUs

  • If minecraft just added sunlight, birds and insects sounds depending on the biomes then the game would be amazing. Love y'all ❤️ Edit 2: and i saw that some people say that the *mod* Dynamic Surroundings is the same thing if you want to experience sunlight and animal sounds. I meant like not on pc but on PE and Bedrock but you can turn them on and off like you can do with the clouds but they shouldn't add sunlight cause it will ruin this amazing game. They should add sounds tho.
