Here is a small glance into my favorite Minecraft server ever, Wynncraft! This server is absolutely amazing with so many features I've never seen anywhere else in Minecraft. Even Hypixel Skyblock is trying to copy this place lol.
There are classes and spells as well as so many different gaming elements that you can basically say that you are playing a different game from Minecraft because Wynncraft feels totally different. They just casually made a full on MMORPG in Minecraft like what?! Oh yeah Grian also owns this server soooooooo...
This whole video took me so many hours over the past month so it would mean so much if you subscribed and liked and all that stuff people say to do. I really hope you enjoy!

I have been trying to rope MMOByte into the boat since 2018. It turned into a one-sided jokes-poking. (they probably ignore) Examples: A dead MMO with 1 (at the time) concurrent player count is more interesting than Wynncraft. MMOs with features they hate (like autoplay) or mobile MMOs (because of their Chat position in the UI) are more interesting than Wynncraft, that got action combat. Hegemony, the Minecraft MMO developed by a former standalone MMO development team, is more interesting than Wynncraft.
i love the server and its sad that hypixel skyblock takes all of the attention.

Most bosses only use the built in selection of mob spells, but recently they've started using more custom made attacks in the next update so thats cool

If game theory made lore videos on wynncraft, it would never end since it has more lore than anything game theory covered, they probably couldn't cover half of it in a year if they also did other stuff.

Decided to try this game for awhile and I have to say, it's pretty fun just running around as an archer 1 shotting everything because I dumped all of my skillpoints into strength.
Man said "aye no defense isn't a problem if my enemy is too dead to hit me"

Quests are supposed to “treat the player like a 2 year old” according to the GM info and Key Guardians spawn in level ranges which is why you found a Fallen Factory Guardian in Rodoroc because it has the same level Range as Corkus
The whole idea of “quests treat the player like a 2 year old” is absolute garbage.

Id rather know what to do than be confused for a hour, but I think its fine if its done naturally, like a trail or a path or natural sounding directions. I havent really felt like everything was that obvious anyway
gm here, that isn't necessarily the goal anymore, it's more "treat the player as if they were drunk" with things being adjusted/made intentionally harder as necessary
I made a hyper fast archer build using a level 30 ish bow for tomfoolery while I’m a level 58 so I run circles around enemies while spamming spells for a somewhat decent amount of damage
Fast builds are so funny to use lol. You might want to look at the speedbuild video I did a few months ago. It's the end screen to this video if you do
I always find it pretty funny that I've got more time played on Wynncraft than in almost all other whole games. Only Elden Ring (and Minecraft overall ofc) barely beats it in playtime. Haven't played for a while but I'm very excited to play again when 2.0 comes out.

I really liked that introduction in the beginning, and overall the video is incredibly accurate (except maybe for that FF key guardian in Molten Heights, I've encountered more Mama Zomble's than those), does a great job at showing all the different things to do and explore on the server, and doesn't spoil too much either. Also loved the little memes for people who know (R.I.P. Wynnston 😥) Wynncraft has been part of my childhood, it's been pretty much the only thing I knew that would run on my laptop, and it's cool to see how far the server has come. Really looking forward to those bug fixes in 2.0 too, dialogues are a pain rn

Wynncraft... what a treasure. One of the quests: you come across a dude who starts screaming at you because he's been waiting 2 weeks for you to get his shovel... that's right down the hill 60 blocks away. So you get the shovel, come back and he's like "ooh thank you :)" so you ask why he's not mad and he's confused. Then a random guy warps in and starts time travel talk and the shovel guy gets sucked back in time to when that area was being built and he dies so you go back to save him but he dies again so you go back to same him but he dies again so you go back to save him and it works and then for some reason the time-space universe doesn't collapse so ok then but then the next quest you go to a tower and the dude is like "yo wdym you can't remember what ur past is" then's like "yo I have a spell for that" and then he wants to test it on less strong minds so you go to a dude by the river but he's sketched and wants something done first so you do it then you bring him to the tower to do stuff and then you get another guy to make sure so u do what he wants and then u bring him and then you bring one last dude then you do it yourself and you're in a prison and need to escape or you will get trapped in the memory forever cuz that's how that works for some reason and you escape and the dude is like "yo bro interesting bro fr fr no cap sheesh bussin fr fr no cap" so that was weird and then one of the next quests is like people are starving in Almuj because they are too lazy to walk 500 blocks to where food can grow so they live in a desert and you go to like Santa or something in the ice mountains and you go to the feast for the army and try to steal a food crate but get caught then ur friend who knows Santa makes a speech and people turn from selfish ignorant fools to nice people who agree to a 37 second and 18 line talk from a bozo who just tried to steal and then he brings the food back and then Santa is like "yo thanks brother" so he's actually Santa's brother wtf and Santa gives you free stuff for feeding people even if it was a questionable way. Count how many words were in that last sentence I dare you
Man I remember that first iteration of Wyncraft, there was nothing else like it at the time but once you hit lv40 you were basically done haha. I remember having to wait for the desert to open and then just farming the chests there while waiting for updates.
I remember playing MineZ and Wyncraft both around the time of their launch/public access. Such fun gamemodes/servers, so cool how much wyncraft has changed over the years, like total revamp.
I remember playing this server with my friend 5-6 years ago. I was hooked and loved it. My same friend invited me to join him and play it some more. Definitely will accept his offer.

KZhead is freaky for recommending this to me considering I just rediscovered WynnCaft and started playing again. No memory of ever playing the first time, but I have another character made. I was just binging Grian’s Hermitcraft episodes and now I’m going to be obsessed with this game for a while.
Well, technically they use plugins, which are like mods that the server owner downloads for you... but that's still basically no mods...
True true. But it's basically wizardry at this point lol

Plugins are nowhere near as powerful as mods. Making something using plugins requires magic and ancient rituals
@@plushrei5926 i would love a wynn craft style mod pack with as much dedication as wynn craft. plugins can do amazing things as you can clearly tell from the server, but mods remove a lot of the constraints of working with the existing assets
@@limerumpus3589 path of resonance or resonance of exile idk the name, but there is PoE themed modpack. I haven't played myself, but I heard thar it is quite good.
i wanna recommend this server to anyone that watched this video, been playing since 2016 and eventually quit because my save was corrupted/wiped (twice) genuinely dont know what happened but still highly recommend
Ohh yesss, Wynncraft! I started playing it together with my friends and I enjoyed every bit of it. The map looks incredible with its different biomes and cities (Llevigar is my favorite, the tunnel you go through after arriving at the port, the two big guarding statues, the green of the emeralds shining between the quartz, the different levels you can go up to get to the different shops/bank/etc.) I really liked the different story-missions, they kept me well entertained but also venturing around the beautiful map and finding chests with items was a lot of fun. I really recommend the server, it's an experience I personally never had before in Minecraft. I really should get back into it :) [Oh yeah, picked Shaman btw]

I tried my best to make the first class I played a journey. And that's what it was. It doesn't take too long to get to combat lvl 105 and isn't too grindy either, quests do most of the work. Your next classes will do a bunch of the same stuff though and profession grinds are more boring. There's also guilds but really the only boost to progression from there is the guild tome and a guild war tome unlock requirement. All classes also share the same bank storage of your account, unless you play on ironman gl on inv management. Also morph set when at over level 100 makes the endgame challenges mostly doable for very cheap and if you still can't do stuff with it, skill issue. Wynncraft has better balancing than Hypixel Skyblock

i actually played this server before they did the total rework and changed everything, it was truly a golden time
my first "mine z experience" was with Dungeon Realms, it was so amazing, the plugins implementation were awesomely made, the sistems blended so well together, and it was so cool and actually hard to adventure out on the open world, now the server is kind of dead but it was soo awesome when it appeared

A server I miss a lot was a server owned by Grian and had minigames like natural disasters and other minigames that I haven't seen in other servers.

it makes me so happy every time this server gets acknowledged and i will talk about how amazing it is every opportunity i get
Wynncraft is hard to summarize as it's an experience one has to go through themselves to really appreciate all the time devs put into this. There're so many different stories in quests, beautiful locations, different playstyles with classes and just the size of the map. I've started playing it even before Gavel was released, in 2014. Eventually I got my mage to 100 lvl, which took me more than 2 years through all the different updates, but was worth it in the end. Now I feel so nostalgic when I hear the Wynncraft music.
I found and played this server YEARS ago, like. At least 5 years ago. Had a ton of fun but got bored with nobody to play with. Crazy to see the server as it is now though

i played minez a looooong time ago and it was probably one of the funnest servers. i remember when they added the texturepack for guns and stuff aswell was so fun

When you say you’re a guy who loves the boss fights, I can’t help but commend monster hunter for you to try. It’s not a Minecraft thing, but it has very interesting boss fights as that’s pretty much all the game consists of. I recommend monster hunter world, because it’s absolutely bangers if you’re a hardcore veteran to the franchise or someone who got recommended the game by someone on the internet. I commend world and not rise because unlike rise mhw Is good without the expansion, and serves as a sort of missing link between new and old gen mh.
when i level a new profile it's usually mob grinding or dungeons for first 90 levels and past that is quests

Been a player since mid 2014 and my seeing how beautiful and massive it is has grown makes me so happy
I remember learning about Wynncraft from InTheLittleWood made a video on it. There was no crafting things. I had so much fun playing it and then I rejoined a year ago and was sad to see that my original character no longer existed.
I'll always have a hateful part of me that despises wynncraft for it killing the craftedmovie server when the community in the it was so tightknit. Despite this however, it's impressive and respectable to this day what salted and the rest made wynncraft into so I can't bring myself to completely hate it.

Wow, it's changed a lot. I played it to lvl 40 when it first came out, and then I think I later came and got to lvl 80. It's amazing how much more stuff they've added.

My favorite Shotbow game was Civcraft Which has actually been taken to several other smaller servers
I use, I think Overwolf, for minecraft modpacks. They have one for wynncraft that adds a mini map, map markers and many slice of life options. Like a hotkey for your special abilities

I remember playing on this server before the resource pack was even a thing. Unfortunately with the update that introduced all the other stats to level up it just kinda made my old saves into grind fests if I ever wanted to continue so I got bored and stopped playing. Maybe I'll start fresh on it some day. Also oh yeah the noteblock music is awesome, heck I've made simple 8-bit remixes of a lot of its songs and used a few in some of my free games.
If you mean professions then I understand lol. I'm pretty much ignoring those on most of my classes
@@Flop_Studios From what I recall I was *not* able to ignore those, since without leveling them up, I would get zero Combat XP from anything.
You never needed to level up professions in order to get combat xp. It was always an optional thing.

(2) in "Slicex" you could create New Drum Loops and softs in any order from different slices. And keep the loop slices playing in and
Man I used to play this so much a few years ago, I think its fun but only in the first half, the rest is very grindy and some quests are so painful.

It definitely gets cooler as you go. I hope they update some of the early game to keep more players into the server up to midgame
I remember playing Wynncraft about a year ago or so where I managed to bug the game in some desert town and got stuck in a boss arena because the boss didnt spawn and just quit because of that

Killing mobs has essentially turned into a gambling addiction for me. Something about killing massive groups of monsters and seeing all the shiny stuff fall out just gives me a rush of dopamine that I don’t think is healthy.
I love wynncraft, the quests are insanely engaging along with certain ones just blowing my mind (realm of light is my favorite chain don't @ me). Leveling multiple classes for specific needs like leveling a entire mage slot just for efficient loot runs eventually having it outclass my warrior slot. fun game, love it to bits.
Can't wait till u find out about the server where you can code your own minigames, it has like it's own coding language using blocks and stuff (DiamondFire is the name i think)
MineZ was so much fun. I always played this gamemode with a few friends and we always camped at the airplane or the shed. The community Was also non toxic
I honestly forgot about Wynncraft, until this video randomly popped up in my recommended. It appears I joined it back in September 2014, but only played for 63 hours. I'll be having another go at the server thanks to you; I appreciate it.
