M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals-2000’s Unbreakable, from Touchstone, and 2016’s Split, from Universal-in one explosive, all-new comic-book thriller: Glass.
From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast.
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
Joining the all-star cast are Unbreakable’s Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard, who reprise their roles as Dunn’s son and Price’s mother, as well as Golden Globe Award winner Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story series).
This riveting culmination of his worldwide blockbusters is produced by Shyamalan and Blumhouse Production’s Jason Blum, who also produced the writer/director’s previous two films for Universal. They produce again with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider and Kevin Frakes, who executive produce. Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum also serve as executive producers.
A Blinding Edge Pictures and Blumhouse production, Glass will be released by Universal Pictures in North America on January 18, 2019, and by Buena Vista International abroad.

    • The ending doesn't even make sense, there was no reason for the police to kill the old man if he didn't do anything wrong, his son appears later since he was there the whole time to intervene and stop the police. Anyways, disappointing but not entirely bad.

    • @@CamiGomes24the ending makes a lot of sense if you can comprehend all 3 movies☺️! In the ending they literally tell us the ladies job is to keep balance so they had to make those 3 guys think they were mentally ill or ordinary people and don’t have any powers they’ve known they had! The woman says at the end that they did indeed have the powers they thought they had her job was to make them think they didn’t and try to break them but that didn’t work so their next solution was killing them and thinking they got off free. Meanwhile the footage got leaked. Made a lot of sense to half the audience if not more 😅

    • His character as a whole is actually pretty annoying to me. Too silly, too fake. The 9 year old character is the worst, especially when the screenwriters are dying to make him say "etcetera" every few minutes. I like the seriousness of Dunn and Glass, and would've preferred just a sequel instead of adding that walking freakshow to the movie.

  • It's great that Spencer Treat Clark played Joseph Dunn in Unbreakable (2000) and in Glass (2019). There is an organic feeling to his relationship with his father, David Dunn (Bruce Willis), because he is the same actor in both films. It's rare that studios do this with films 20 years apart, but it adds to the believability of the story.

  • I came here after Bruce Willis' announcement. I didn't quite remember the extension of his participation in this movie. He wasn't the main character, and his lines were often short, but from the trailer I can now recall that it was more about his presence than the things he said, which were limited. At the time I thought this was by design, but now it becomes obvious this was a way of dealing with his condition. I hope he gets better and can still enjoy a long and fulfilling life.

One of it is very disturbing, we saw a child being abused by a mom. Dunn originally want to track this mom but he decided that child abuse is hard to interfere, then he accidentally scanned that janitor with murdering spree which takes more priority straight away. You know man, that kid is called Kevin by his mom. Is it coincidence that Kevin Wendell Crumb is Split's main antagonist? Think again.

Unbreakable, was a different idea of the superhero genre and how it could be true and done. Split, was the craziest twist when you heard that music score and then Bruce Willis gave me chills. Glass, a beautiful rollercoaster of a story that maybe it's just a mental health issue, fitting for our time, but then it's a secret group that kills the superheroes to keep the status quo. So amazing.

    • Exactly, I saw the RT critics few days ago and it was at 35% but audience score was 78. I saw this movie yesterday and its was great from start to finish, just like Unbreakable and Split. I ended up scratching my head not because I dislike this movie but because I dont get what the critics are actually watching & expecting. The ending wasnt even bad or confusing like those critics claimed. It wrapped up the trilogy really well. Great closure for the trilogy.

The acting is beautiful, the characters are amazing, but the most important thing about this movie is the actual messages it sends to the audience. This is a masterpiece. Its funny how such an amazing movie gets scored so low by critics and rating sites while non-sense movies like the Avengers get near perfect scores.
