1 Million views! Thank You Wherepostrockdwells and all the fans out there! It's an amazing journey and I'm glad You're being part of it. Always follow Your dreams even if they are so distant.
My dad listens to this I don't know when but I've seen him do it once or twice. I'm literally listening to this while trying to learn Spanish. lol Great music by the way its relaxing yet it gets you pumped. :D
Thank YOU for creating this fine piece of imaginative artistry.
Epic damn music guys
Absolutely what I needed today. This is an amazing work. Thanks thanks thanks from Spain. This may be the pieces I am made of.
Great job,Thanks mate , best of luck!!
Ah, finally KZhead algorithm is doing things right.
Welcome to the other world
About time.
I know, right!?
Uh, for real yes. This just randomly popped up and I was like sure play it, holy cow!
Daaaaaaamn right man!!!!
Friedrich Nietzsche - 'Without music, life would be a mistake.'
As if we need some old philosopher to remind us of a such obvious thing.
@@erasedshallbehisname5100 my friend, remembering the classics is the most efficient process of humanization and cultural refinement. Human neurodevelopment depends on culturally inherited information for its neuroplasticity to be harnessed. When we quote an "ancient" philosopher, we do not mean just the content of the sentence, but the fact that that information is rooted in the process of historical intellectual development of that civilization... Indeed, in the Internet age people are being born with less IQ, they only see the obvious and the superficial. My condolences for your education, or lack thereof.
@@erasedshallbehisname5100 We do, to try and educate dummies like you.
@@maurocavalcante6131 Bollocks. You should read a bit of Nietzsche, especially his essay on history and it's meaning for life, instead of just quoting overused aphorism, because he would laugh at You after reading this. He mocks blind obedience for tradition just for the sake of it, he mocks any form of cultural enslavement by what's considered "classic", especially when it comes to philosophical and literary tradition. "Tradition is a higher authority we listen not because it orders us to do something useful, but because it orders" ("The Dawn", I quote from memory, yet I believe it's pretty accurate).
Wow 1,5 Million views! You guys are awesome. Distant Dream has the best fans out there and also big thanks to WherePostRockDwells once again for all the support! Are you guys ready for the 3rd album?
Hell Yeah! You guys are killin it

Hell yeah we're ready

Nie wierzę, Gdańsk...Polska 🇵🇱... Brawo. Wielkie gratki. Piękne dzieło 😍
600.000 views - that's just sick! Thanks for the huge support guys, I cannot even describe how I feel seeing this. If You like this album then check also the new one "Your Own Story". Hope to see You all during live playing in future :)
have fun
will do
I've only listened for ten minutes and can tell it deserves more. Too many artists focus on using lyrics to portray a tone instead of the music. But sometimes, lyrical silence speaks volumes.
And over the three-quarter million! It's a magical masterpiece, thank you!
The reason is simple: because of the superb music :)
Their music has a dreamy ambience but heavy at the same time...amazing.
In 2024 cannot stop listening it. Just as amazing as at first hearing. Guys, U R amazing.
I'm closer to my 61st birthday than to my 60th and I thought I was past those "first time I heard..." moments but damn, I just stumbled into the first such moment I've had in a long time! Amazing music, thank you -
Try Buckethead
I'm 61 too and just listening for the first time , its awesome of the most awesomeness
You sir are a legend!
Music discovery has no age sire! May this find you in good health sir.
I'm still rocking at almost 64 head banger and dancer singer till I take my last breath
And after losing 4 friends (1 suicide) in 2020, I thought nothing in the musical realm really could touch my heart anymore, and then I found this album. It’s an unreal, out of this universe masterpiece!!!!! Thank you guys for being here on this planet in these difficult times and for creating such wonderful music!!!! Love and light from Thailand ❤️☀️🌴🇹🇭
เพื่อนคุณต้องดีใจที่คุณมีความสุข💕
Stay strong, my friend, you are not alone :) ❤ A big hug from Italy
Sorry for your loss. Best wishes and keep listening to music, it honestly helps a lot during hard times!
I feel you bro 🖤 keep pushing forward 💫
@@ingridfischer3432More than you can imagine! ❤but I'am sure that coming from a person who would take the time to declare this in writing already has surpassed my wildest reality😅
when music is so strong like this...there is no need for lyrics... thank you distant dream!
You want Mystery Caught in the Whirlwind of Time.
This is sick. It's like music coming from other dimension.
First time listener boys. Holy shit. Thank you for this.
Why do you need drugs when you got music as good as this..
who me?
yes you
G george, I agree. Excellent comment
Some drugs (psychedelics) give you more of an experience with the music you listen to...as if you can literally feel it..indescribable but truly life changing i can say at the least. "DONT DOUBT IT UNLESS YOU'VE TRIED IT" Lol
why not both
One year later and I'm back again. This time momma died a week ago. Now I mourn her and this is just too much. This music feels just how I feel.
This is one of my favourite albums, ever.
You are my favourite💕
Hi Guys! You can still get the physical CD or digital version on distantdream.bandcamp.com/

This album has been one of the most interesting, dynamic and groovy music discoveries of late. I can't stop listening to it on loop and I won't get over it anytime soon. If you like the music, then please buy the album on bandcamp (link in description). the whole album is available for just 1 euro, which is quite a criminally low price to spare for an album this awesome! Enjoy folks!
i most definitly will be listening to this album on loop, just like i did with the Widek albums!
Is it available on iTunes or Bandcamp only?
It will be also available on other pages like iTunes soon :)
This might sound strange but,is your phrasing in your solos inspired by Dhalif?the 1st song on this album reminds me so much of his phrasing.
01. Sleeping Waves (feat. Dhalif Ali). Cheers!
To this wonderful album I gave birth to my little son two days ago. Thank you for this amazing experience.
Best new metal in decades. Love this. I'll be 65 in May and I've heard metal since it started, this is metal with emotion.
It's currently 10:54pm here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I am laying in my bed, headphones in with volumes on high and I am listening to this beautiful masterpiece in its entirety. Often times with my eyes closed shut in the pitch black darkness but occasionally I will open to them and glance out of my bedroom window into the night sky, staring off into space and at that very moment I am at peace, no politics, not hatred going on in the world. Just pure love and emotion. And that is what makes this type of music so powerful and truly a work of art. The fact that there can be a video that is 40 minutes long without a single word being said yet it speaks so much at the same time. I just wish everyone in this world could experience this and feel the same way that all of us here feel about music like this
currently I am doing just as you mentioned. everything you said is true.
I agree. Couldn't have said it better.
You're beautiful.
Wow the feels. Nice comment so elegantly said.
Ayyyy, Pittsburgh PA! I live like 45 minutes North. 😵 Small world.
Man... finally I found something special. Thank u guys for that Peiece of art
if you are looking for something special, Serj Tankian is amazing.
@@jessy7814 He's always been special to me) but thanks!
I have found randomly this album and I just cannot stop listening it. Guys, U R Amazing!!!
You will listen it over and over, over a long period and then you will sadly get sick of it :/ but.. "Your Own Story" is still there.. Miss when I first got these sets. man euphoria xD
I found this 12 hours ago. It’s been on repeat ever since. Want to say thank you to the composers, musicians, and YT for putting this in my feed. Thank you all . I needed this exact thing in my life, at this exact time. Much respect :)
they got so fuckin kickass guitar solos... Iam a classic rock fan but these guys have proved an exact rock music ... they have totally nailed it in new pop and rap era.. still we got rockers .. rock music never die
huzaifa nakhuda not guys - guy. One guy made the album.
There's quite a few guest soloists though.
This is such a perfect melancholic album with exceptionally emotive playing! Something you would listen to on a rainy day in a balcony remembering all the pain you may have gone through...before embarking on a redemption trail.
Found this while searching for something completely different. I haven't had regrets. So calm yet so powerful.
This album has only one weak point - it ends :) All the rest is just pure inspiration and good vibes! My deepest respect to Distant Dreams.
This comment only has one weak point...it implies that there is a weak point in this album. LOL
:)
Damn that bass presence. This channel is pure gold.
Well, thank you for the comment!
Wherepostrockdwells u
Bruce Kirk no. Definitely a real bass. You can tell by the tiny imperfections in the sound between notes. Signature of a pic touching the wrong strings even a microscopic bit.
best bass sound for years @@davecrupel2817
Sounds like the dingwall/darkglass combo
So, I was a junkie for most of the 2000's-2010's so my time was spent keeping my habit going. I had no time or drive for discovery of new music. This really sucked because music was a massive part of my life for my first 20 years. Now that I have some clean time I'm getting back into discovering new music. I had never heard of "post-rock" until hearing Pelican about 2 years ago. Channels like yours have given me a way to let my mind really wander in a positive way. Thanks to you, and a few others (like SMOD'S channel), I find myself on a seemingly endless journey of musical discovery. I guess what I am trying to say is thank you. Your channel effects people's lives in more ways than you were probably not aware of.
Christopher Reeves yoo congrats on your sobriety. Im clean 7 months from 17 year heroin addiction. Id say one step at a time but your screen name (bad joke) any ways man. Whats important to you? What is something ur like to see in your future or what would you like to keep in your life now that fulfills your lifes purpose? How are you man?
¡Congratulations!
Im 31 yrs Clean, From Herion, Its The Music That Keeps Me Clear, Of Monsters And Goblens, Wishing You WELL, You Can Do It , GOOD LUCK, My Dude.
10:00 the hairs on my whole body stood up simultaneously
this song to Touch of the sky made me give up suicide, thank you God and thank all of you of the band..
and what happened to you
good going guy! stay strong bruv!
Hope you are doing well now
Never.keep enjoying my friend
Are you still okey?
I like. Does remind me of If These Trees Could Talk, especially the Red Forrest lp. Guitarist has chops to spare. Nice!
What a time to be alive!
Can't stop thinking about that riff in track 2.
This is literally a nocturne dream front the sea. Thanks for the experience.
Эта музыка забирается в самые потайные уголки души. Мое почтение авторам. Вы создали нечто превосходное!
Found my way across this bridge tonight, into the land of the Distant Dream, where everything is perfect for 40 minutes and 4 seconds. 🌉🌌
I can feel my wings growing while listenining to this amazing album... The third one i love most
I spent all my morning listening to Trees Of Eternity and Swallow The Sun, and suddenly this album came up among KZhead's recommendations and I loved it! The atmosphere that manages to transmit it's really beautiful!!
Wow happy to hear that, thanks!
Swallow The Sun is a great Melodic Death Metal band.
same here trees of eternity and wolfheart and then i saw a couple times the recommendation so...
i dont usually like slow post rock but the slow songs on this are very good lots of sorrow i feel like
Unlike most post rock, their songs have a lot of variation. They know when you stop and drop a solo to break the monotony.
I will say something about this album when I find the words but for the moment an 'Awesome' and 'Epic' would suffice I hope...
I went from very stressed out with life to calm and hopeful that things will change and nothing is going to stand in my way. This in my opinion is the power of music, Thank-you. This is exactly what I needed right now.
This is cure for depression. So glad i stumbled across this band, you guys have my utmost respect.
Gorgeous album. I never want to stop listening
Got me hooked within the first minute, Post-Rock is arguably the purest form of music..
what are u talking about, prog rock exists since 1970 and the term post-rock it's for some alternative trash from the late 80
ProgRocksHardly Dude, are you really going to dwell into genre-naming? Who gives a crap how it's called? Just enjoy the good music
@@dk-sky3820 what's wrong with telling someone what kind of music do I like to listen ? of couse I dwell, prog rock it's my passion.
@ProgRocksHardly I hardly give any fuck what kind of music do you listen and what is your passion. It's you calling post-rock "alternative trash" that I have a problem with. If you disrespect other genres - don't be surprised people will take that shit back at ya. Read the name of this channel, do it slowly. Then read description of Distant Dream's music on bandcamp and stop being a loser.
Holy shit. The way this album is mixed sits so well on the ear. It is really a masterpiece.
Desde mexico' excelente disco' se me figura a Jeff Beck. Todo un viaje astral hasta lo más profundo de mi ser.
I know from reading, this beautiful music is a long distant collaboration and I am certain many of the musicians (if not all) are Buckethead fans.
This is one of my fav albums right now, when sober it's like 9/10 but when stoned, woahhhhh
thank you Poland for this great gift :')
ameni jlassi I am American and I approve lol good to see other countries rocking out !!!
please try Riverside from Poland ...
Deep analytical sound of the guitars!

Honestly, whatever music I listen to, I end up going back to this album. Magical stuff, thank you
1:50- 2:17 Touched my heart man.
Mine too. It's beautiful!
2 songs in..and this is some beautiful and powerful music. I'm from the flood zone of Houston, Tx..there is healing and optimism in this music. Dare I say a spiritual experience...thank you!!!!! I need to own this.
Good work!! You have the respect from Brazil!! Fantastic!! Awesome!! I gonna go to share with my friends this treasure!

Nearly 2 mln .You Deserve for 10 millions >Amazing Album. Totally Love IT
This is such an emotionally charged album for me. I'm 24. I feel every day like there's an ocean's worth of energy jumbled up inside me, desperately yearning for release, and I have so much trouble channeling it. "Distant Dream," the hollowly echoing first few chords, summons that energy to the surface like a pentagram. I need to bury that energy to be able to siphon it slowly and take little steps every day to learning what I need to learn, practice what I need to practice. I don't think I'll be able to listen to this album for a while until I feel like I'm in a better place. As odd and personal this comment is, I'm so glad this album exists and I don't know how to thank Distant Dream for making this incredible music.
Take a run, and then grab a dumbell. I'm telling you it works.
One of the best albums ive listened to in a long time.I was hooked in the first 5 seconds.
magical sound, put my headphones and fly to space of distant dreams...
At last progressive rock once again worth listening to and played by musicians who know a damned side more than just the circle of fifths.
Not even a minute in and I’m already in love, when that guitar kicked in I knew I’d struck gold
40 Minutes of Pure Gold 🤘🏽
One of the best post rock albums in this year so far. And what a surprise. Those guys are from Poland. Pozdrawiam rodaków, świetna robota.
Every time I hear some amazing, highly-textured, deeply intricate variation of the "Post-[..]" genre, and I go to find out where they're from, like 90% of the time, they're Polish, and I'm just like, "...yup." Poland rules
Poland is good, but I find Russia ist just as consistent, with USA and Germany having their own fair share of masterpieces.
Utter nonsense. Russians don't understand the meaning of the word "music". They're totally unable to compete.
The Germans are really, really damn good at what they do, too.
As a fellow Pole, I would urge you to check out Eleventh Vibration and possibly reconsider your statement. :) Music - at least music of this kind - is no place for politics, so let's not paint whole nations with a broad brush.
Wow I was watching something else... dropped my phone and suddenly this was playing... the universe just turned me onto some phenomenal music 🎶 🎵 ❤️ 🙌 ✨️
I like this ongoing wave of serotonin/endorphin that you can just ride along. One moment you are relaxed and almost forget about the music even playing, then the next blast part kicks in. Great!
yeah and sigma1 gaba2 5ht2a and dopamin transporters also react to that.
Albums like this make me have hope for music, and if it wasn't for this upload and YT allowing it I'd never know about this.
Music fans, one word sums up the album "It All Starts From Pieces"...breathtaking. Utterly breathtaking.
This music is literally everything I ever wanted from a song
I love this album so much it makes me daydream and feel things I never felt before every time I listen to it 💜
So so good. Just bought in on Bandcamp.
👍🏻
are u from Bangladesh?
I just did as well. Beautiful music.
Just downloaded illegally.....no I'll buy this
This is what I call a perfect album and a perfect upload, it is beauty, thank you for the upload sir.
I can experience both soothing calmness & storm inside me when I listen these songs. Really you are very talented musicians. Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
1000 of those million views are mine. I listen to this far more than I should. I create obstacles to overcome so I can celebrate milestones by binge listening to this album. I'll eat this last slice of pizza, milestone. I'll refill my water filter, milestone. Just give me more reasons to listen to this great album. I'm close, but not quite there yet. There are a couple albums I wasnt ready for yet. So Distant Dream and Sithu are still listened to until my mind advances to the level of readiness. I was supposed to wait 1 year. Just couldnt resist. Post Rock is where I dwell.
Ah, I see you are a cultured listener as well. Love Sithu and DD. Plini and Cepheid are also frequently in my playlists:)
This album absolutely blew me away!
Love this sound.

Widek, Feather Child and now Distant Dream! Thank you poland! thank you widek for the amazing production! thank you for the upload!
Isn't Jakub Zytecki Polish as well?
yes he is. thank you for the nice advice. I did not know him before
Jakub Zytecki's new EP, "Feather Bed," is pure genius.
such beauty to contrast with just the right amount divinely crafted dissonance. one track in and in love. so many neurons firing all at once
Where have I been ? I can’t understand why I’ve only just discovered this, I’m nearly 56 and been round the block a few times, maybe just took a few wrong turns, I’m here now though, thank you guys 👍
Ah ah same here! :)
I don't know Distant Dream will read this comment or not,but I owe a large part of my happiness to this album especially.I discovered this album during a very bad phase of my life. This album came as a blessing for me. I am from India and it's currently 5 in the morning. This album takes me on a ride everytime I hear it. Distant Dream,I will watch you live one day. It is my dream.
Aaye Bro Same Here..... This is something that Everyone Should Listen.. And i Found a Neighbour Comment here i'm From 🇳🇵🇳🇵
The intro to the album made me instabuy this gem.
What a discovery! This album took me a while. Or to be more precise, exactly two songs. The third one then blew my mind away and caught me. Keep it up and greetings from Germany!

This is unbelievable. What an album.
I like that the songs are different to each other but they also have their own sound, the musicianship is good and each song has time to develop and breathe. Thanks for the upload.
This is masterpiece that bringing me into another dimension
I've become a fan of this album. It's difficult to find an album that I like from start to finish, and this is definitely one of them. I've listening with passion and good vibes. Congratulations for this masterpiece, Distant Dream! Good vibes from Brasil, Minas Gerais
These guys are the new God Is An Astronaut, such an inspired sound. Outstanding record!
Wow! I really appreciate Your words. Thank You.
It's just one guy! Haha
Frankly, I like Distant Dream way, way more than God is an Astronaut. Personally, I find God is an Astronaut to be very overrated as far as post-rock goes, but I suppose that could just be me.
What an album only just discovred it and it has blown me away beautifully melodic with outstanding heavy riffs this is one of the best original albums i have listened to in long time
I can't stop hearing it everyday!
900.000 views - AMAZING! I'm so happy that You guys like this album and come back to it. It's so close to a million. Thanks for the huge support for Distant Dream!
19:35 -> Amazing solo, fucking epic!
Well, this solo is pretty good, but you should listen to the guitarsolos of Donald Roeser from Blue Öyster Cult , he's a genius .
Hints of Plini. Lovely.
Hugo Oliveira if you haven't already heard it; listen to the outro solo of the song Rivers Dancing by Gordian Knot. Ron Jarzombek plays it, I think you'll like it. Just start listening at about the 5:00 minute mark.
oh, come on...you should listen this or that...why should we care about gordian knot or BOC...there are many many more awesome solos out there, let's concentrate on this..
Ant A And hints from Petrucci and Satriani as well :)
One of the best uploads this year, love the sound and the feel to this album
Distant Dream are AMAZING! Point of View, Your Own Story, this album... They are all absolutely fantastic. Every time I hear someone say "music today is rubbish" it makes me want to cringe, they have no clue what they're talking about. Such a shame!!!!!
Man you guys are good ! love to listen to the album over and over when i'm working :D keep up the good work
listened to like only 2 seconds and i instantly knew that i'll love this
For the gods sake! i can't stop hearing this masterpiece!
I was waiting so long to enjoy something like this, congrats guys!
Thank you for the upload.
