During my university days in Edinburgh Scotland, the student union, show a movie in one of the lecture theatre for student living in campus for free every Sunday night . The patrons were mostly Asian students, During every Sunday nite half an hour before showtime group of mostly Asian students would be queing and waiting in the first few front rows waiting for the lecture doors to be opened. There was one particular Sunday night, when a group of us arrived at the lecture theatre for the usual cinema viewing. To our astonishment, there were already a huge crowd of Norwegian students ahead of us queuing for the show. The first time for any show wherebye the the front rows were occupied by non asian students . Needless to say the show that evening was Enter the Dragon, starring Bruce Lee.Very obviously the Norwegian students were there to see their hero, Bruce Lee. More astonishing was the fact that the sizeable Norwegian student population in my campus would normally during lecture times always kept to their own kind ,rarely mixing outside their own group, they are big, strong and very impressive in stature with average height above 6feet, they are very proud of their Viking heritage.Quite unbelievable Bruce Lee was their hero. That event was one of the proudest moment for a Chinese in campus. Mind you those were the days in the late 70s. As a postgraduate Nigerian roommate of mine at that time first comment the first time he met me was, 'back in Nigeria before i came to Edinburgh, the only thing i knew about a Chinese is,chinese takeaway and Bruce Lee'.

many years i just known this guy played with many bruce lee 's movies Bruce Lee: The Big Boss July 12, 1971, Bruce Lee lands at Don Muang airport, (Thailand) On July 12, 1971, Bruce Lee lands at Don Muang airport, (Thailand) where the director Wu Chia Hsiang awaits him, who is the director of the film, which lasted a short time since Bruce did not quite fit in with this director and invited him to stop filming. The problems were many, from disagreements in the form of filming, in the shots of the fighting images. Bruce got to the point of threatening to leave the film, he told Raymond, "this show has no idea about anything, he wants my fights to last 10 minutes to fight with three opponents" Then according to Wu Chia, "Bruce Lee only has some good movements but little else" after a few days of filming the tension was already unbearable, to the point that the main actor and the director did not speak to each other. A week after the beginning of the film, Raymond Chow sent Wu Chia Hsiang home, leaving the film without a director, they needed an urgent director, one of the producers of the Golden harvest was Liu Liang who curiously had a husband who was a director of cinema, with some experience "hehehe" which at that time did not have any movie filming, this director was none other than Lo Wei 唐山大兄 (1971) The Big Boss ใอ้หนุ่มซินตึ๊ง USA Title: Fists of Fury Origin: Hong Kong Language: Cantonese Genre: Martial Arts Rating: II (Hong Kong) Release Date (HK): 10/31/1971 Directors Lo Wei Wu Chia-Hsiang Screenwriter Lo Wei Martial Arts Director Han Ying-Chieh Producer Raymond Chow Man-Wai Cast Bruce Lee Siu-Lung ... I’ve always had that same thing in my character where I treated everyone with respect even as a kid before I knew what Bruce Lee was. But if someone treated me with disrespect I would get fuming mad. This temper I’ve been working on for countless years. I’ve discovered that when you treat those with respect who have no respect for others this humbles them because they are respected. The bully in me is the bully in you and the saint in me is the saint in you. May growth be our constant way and may happiness be the order of the day.

@@riverphoenixx Bruce was a perfectionist, he'll get irritated when things are done carelessly; thus, he was temperamental. He loved voluptuous girls and had his flings with quite a few; however, it was all physical, he never let anyone interfere with his marriage. The saying goes: "play but know where home is". When you're lucky enough to have Bruce teach you...pay attention throughout or you'll be looking in from the outside lol... So much for now.

It also interesting to see the perspective of those close to him as a friend and those who sort of mostly only worked with him. Very motivational.
Thank you very much.
He stole this from a documentary called Intercepting fist.
Very long time. Still handsome, Shin Si Huang.
U feel it and u make me feel it too.
Bruce Lee has the wow factor
i like his role in the big boss.... he plays well as a villain...
Even those weird and strange japanese like Bruce lee... Thats how far and deep bruce lee influences affected.
The big bosses son.
日本語版の動画をUPして欲しいです。 Bruce Lee Forever👨👍️💞 great tony liu👨👍️💞
I liked how he talked to bosses like they were normal people. I see so many people try to be little people because they have a lot of money.
Dang...the story of Tony's actor friend who didn't like Bruce or see what the big deal was watching Big Boss in an American theater, seeing the black audience members stand up when Bruce appeared, and being compelled to stand himself-that kinda says it all, doesn't it?
Yea I remember Tony from all the Bruce Lee movies. He hasn't changed much.
fantastic
Wow Tony looks great!! ALso a passionate and engaging storyteller!
I remember Tony in The Big Boss and Fist Of Fury.He still looks good.

Only actor in 4 of Lee's movies.
Out of all the actors who worked with Bruce in his films, Tony Liu appeared the most as he did 4 (Big Boss, Fists of Fury, Way of the Dragon, and Enter The Dragon). The rest did either 2 or 3.
many years i just known this guy played with many bruce lee 's movies Bruce Lee: The Big Boss July 12, 1971, Bruce Lee lands at Don Muang airport, (Thailand) On July 12, 1971, Bruce Lee lands at Don Muang airport, (Thailand) where the director Wu Chia Hsiang awaits him, who is the director of the film, which lasted a short time since Bruce did not quite fit in with this director and invited him to stop filming.
I didnt recognized that Guy😭 that remind me souvenir
Sehat☺💪👍🇮🇩

Latter Years 🪓
Hello Tony, It's been a long time. You knew Bruce before me, I met him in LA back in 1970. Good that you verify Bruce's stunning speed and explosive power. I have commented on a few posts in an attempt to tell it like it is. However, there will always be wise guys trashing him... Allan 余雅倫
Can you tell us more about Bruce as a person in real life and what you witnessed?
@@riverphoenixx Bruce was a perfectionist, he'll get irritated when things are done carelessly; thus, he was temperamental. He loved voluptuous girls and had his flings with quite a few; however, it was all physical, he never let anyone interfere with his marriage. The saying goes: "play but know where home is". When you're lucky enough to have Bruce teach you...pay attention throughout or you'll be looking in from the outside lol... So much for now.

This interview has to be from the 90's right? He looks around 40. Either this guy has mastered aging or this is an old interview.
Asian don't raisin
I saw this interview on a DVD that came out 20 years ago.
快准
DONT CONCENTRATE ON YOUR FINGER OR YOU WILL MISS AL OF THE HEAVENLY GLORY!
He's the Asian Gregory Peck. LOL
Wow these Asians don’t age at all!!!! These guy still looks like he’s in his early thirties and I’m writing this in pandemic era 2020!!!! Don’t know how old this video is but he looks good I still recognise him
Some comment said it was recorded in 1996
Hey tony I want to play in your movies as a bad guy. Btw how how do you stay so young I’m turning 46 this week but you look younger . 李小龍 is my inspiration in every aspects of my life, including my work out, and even in my strategy/ability to teach math :)
this interview was in 90s when he was 40 something
I have a lot of respect for Tonny Liu for his frank comments but feel just the opposite with Donnie Yan the boastful Flowery Fist Dan 花拳丹
20 years ago.. bit longer than that. More like 43 years ago. Funny but informative.. great vid. I thought it was Tony leung until you showed pic.. with Bruce... save the tigers and elephants.. Bruce Lee told me to say that. Cause he was a animal lover.. like Jackie chan and stop eating dogs Korea its sick..
How old is this video? He looks great.
Didn't he play The Big Boss's son?
i hated him because he and his father were very corrupt in the film Big Boss and atlast they been finished bei Bruce Lee ,,in Bruce lee films was somtjing common and it was fight against corruption and for justice.....his soul in peace....
Where is this interview from ? is it from tv or some Special documentary that came out about Bruce lee ?
It's from one of the Bruce Lee DVD collections from Hong Kong.. there's a bunch of interviews on the DVD set
