  • Curry is the reason I started back watching the NBA. I hadn't watched basketball since Jordan retired for the 3rd time. Unfortunately for me, they dont play many GSW games on cable. Obviously I wasn't a fan of any team. I was just a Jordan fan. When he left, I left. When he went to the Wizards I went with him. Then about 14 years later I seen this Curry kid while I was sitting at Applebees. This guy was throwing up the most spectacular 3 pointers since Larry Bird. But Curry was different. The shots he was taking was so insane would have gotten anyone else in the league including Bird BENCHED! But this dude was a freakin baby faced assassin. He is the first player in the league to have the green light to take some of the most ignorant shots from anywhere on the court because somehow he was hitting them with deadly accuracy and winning games. Impossible to be mad at him. Now he's changed the game. Other teams have employed snipers with the green light to shoot at will (Lillard, Harding etc). I remember the day Coach Steve Kerr seen they had Steph surrounded trapped by 3 or 4 defenders. Steve was screaming for Steph to pass the ball. Instead, Steph shot the craziest shot in history. Steve put his hands on his head about to go off on Curry but the ball went in. Steve. Just threw his hands up in amazement. I believe that was the day Kerr said you don't have to listen to me anymore. Just go out there and do whatever the fu*k you want to.

I am going to keep repeating that Steph is the best player in the world, because I believe it. And it doesn't matter what the media say, Steph Curry is the best basketball player in the world. Steph do more spectacular things on the court than any other NBA player. Steph also take more punishment on the court and from the media than any other player and superstar ever in history

Besides, the NBA has a special video center in New Jersey filled with refs that review these type of things when it happens. They call it a 3 on the floor but sometimes you watch them take it away and change it to a 2 pointer 30 seconds later.
