Steph Curry the superstar was born this night. Warriors didn’t win in San Antonio for 29 years. He wasn’t close to the star he is now, but this game is where you could begin to fear him and his Warriors.

Aww. The good ol’ days. When teams would only send a single defender against Curry
Man he was cooking lmao
Lol 🤣😭this comment is hilarious! You're telling the truth!
It doesn't even feel real seeing him able to operate with that much space 😅💯
MANNNNN the space they giving him was crazy back then. now he gets doubled and blitz
They still do as long as he has shooters around him..
Coach Kerr: "The way Steph plays puts the fear of God into defenses like nobody I've ever seen." And remember, Kerr played with Michael Jordan.

Man. I've lived in San Antonio my whole life. Spurs fan to the core. I remember where I was watching this exact game live. Thinking how special Golden State is gonna be in a few years. Who would've thought it.

" oh No!! Not that guy!! Hahaha...true story. Thanks for this night babe...

With Curry, a screen should be an assist.

@@AlexandreG 🤡
It’s actually really cool seeing how much he’s grown and matured his game since then
Let's hope they win this year. Never liked Boston from the Magic years 😐
I mean he's doing pretty much the exact same stuff now. Circus shots at the rim, passing out of the pick and roll/pops and hitting crazy 3's. His game looks strikingly similar.
@@AtlanticCanadianAstronomy except for a couple times he couldve made open passes like at the buzzer, now he passes that everytime if he guarded
To me this feels like how young players play. He used to play that way. Like how luka, ja morant, etc play. They play this type of way, a primary ball Handler who scores and puts up ridiculous amount of points. Now the tables have turned, he’s more mature, and more selective on his shots. Although, i still miss him being this dominant on the offensive end.
@@AtlanticCanadianAstronomy i mean he got the harden stepback now which he uses a lot

The NBA wasn't ready for Steph 2015 was truly the year a years of build up exploded throughout the NBA and the rest was history after that.
Thts true. But this playoff run was 2013
Young Draymond, Curry and Klay. This team really built themselves through the dynasty they became. No need to bounce teams like lebron does
Bruh he should have left the caves after the first season he wasted his career there carrying them ungrateful asses
Your bitch ass just had to mention the King.
Why would they bounce teams if they already have a good team dummy
@@Ma1q444 tell that to lebron, Irving, Durant, harden etc. I get Butler leaving with a team that actually tries but these dudes leave when they already have a good team then go to a worse one and wanna leave asap

"For all you geniuses that didn't vote him an All-Star" Exactly, Webber! I remember that year Curry put up great numbers and I was upset he didn't get voted in!
9 years later and this man is more polished than this and still doin this to every team on an almost nightly basis. Preseason, regular season, playoffs, and finals. Absolute legend.
some NBA players shoot 3's BUT Curry shoots "THE THREEE"
I will always remember this game as the “crazy screaming lady” game …..I muted my tv when I was watching it live …and this highlight made me relive it …..🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
A superstar was born this night, I love Curry and how he plays. No player more exciting as him
NotATroll Kyrie as well
Ghostgamingent ikr I think them two are the most exciting
What about Westbrook? He’s very entertaining as well.
Jiren The Gray faxs everyone always forgets Westbrook
Jiren The Gray West ain't as exciting
Curry is the reason I started back watching the NBA. I hadn't watched basketball since Jordan retired for the 3rd time. Unfortunately for me, they dont play many GSW games on cable. Obviously I wasn't a fan of any team. I was just a Jordan fan. When he left, I left. When he went to the Wizards I went with him. Then about 14 years later I seen this Curry kid while I was sitting at Applebees. This guy was throwing up the most spectacular 3 pointers since Larry Bird. But Curry was different. The shots he was taking was so insane would have gotten anyone else in the league including Bird BENCHED! But this dude was a freakin baby faced assassin. He is the first player in the league to have the green light to take some of the most ignorant shots from anywhere on the court because somehow he was hitting them with deadly accuracy and winning games. Impossible to be mad at him. Now he's changed the game. Other teams have employed snipers with the green light to shoot at will (Lillard, Harding etc). I remember the day Coach Steve Kerr seen they had Steph surrounded trapped by 3 or 4 defenders. Steve was screaming for Steph to pass the ball. Instead, Steph shot the craziest shot in history. Steve put his hands on his head about to go off on Curry but the ball went in. Steve. Just threw his hands up in amazement. I believe that was the day Kerr said you don't have to listen to me anymore. Just go out there and do whatever the fu*k you want to.
😂 that is cool..
Exactly the same with me.
Facts, Kerr's facial expression for that shot eas priceless 🤣🤣🤣 #makingofalegend
That was GSW vs Clippers
How quickly people forget who put the NBA to its knees when he become the first Unanimous MVP.

Who choked in the NBA finals twice until KD took over that team
Sergio Parker averaging 26 7 and 7 is choking? Since when?
@@Malik-hz5fg I'm not talking about his stats I'm talking about his killer instinct of closing out those two series against us just like Lebron did when he choked in the 2011 NBA finals against the Mavericks

this exact year was the year that I became a fan of curry. I just remember this playoff run was amazing, even though they lost to the spurs. Best player in NBA for the past 4 years
Sandra Contreras Lol
Sandra Contreras W ...these dumb bias MEDIA doesn't appreciate GREATNESS..
TheJas7271 No they don't , but his fans do . So if the media can keep repeating how Lebron James is the best player in the world, and his fans can lap it up like Pavlovian dogs, then as a Steph Curry fan I need to support Steph. I am going to keep repeating that Steph is the best player in the world, because I believe it. And it doesn't matter what the media say, Steph Curry is the best basketball player in the world. Steph do more spectacular things on the court than any other NBA player. Steph also take more punishment on the court and from the media than any other player and superstar ever in history
W!!!!!! WE ARE IN THE SAME PAGE. I'LL NEVER STOP SAYING THAT HE IS THE REAL BEST PLAYER IN THE PLANET. I don't care about stats. Steph is only 6:3, 190 lbs, automatically he is at a disadvantage physical aspect . Clearly for him it takes a lot more skills than a kD or aLebron to overcome. And to be able to dominate the NBA with such ease, excitement and finesse is something beyond. i will always be more impressed by him than anybody except MJ
pureeeee facts!
This playoff game was epic, I remember watching this live
I still remember how hyped this game was. Bazemore making that fastbreak layup, I thought we had it. Then freakin legendary ass Manu hits us with the dagger after all of that work that Steph and the dubs put it... that was a rough night for Warriors fans.
This the golden state I loved and appreciated
I love the new GS.
Brandon LURENZO well you certainly afraid of current gsw..lol
Stephen Curry Yup

Elijah Espinosa say this to draymond and boogie...
Just pay attention to bogut, he did a lot for them back in the day. A lot of the offense was run with him setting screens and getting assists. He a very intelligent big man.
Yeah it hurt to lose him vs lebron James.. it made it easy for LeBron to score once bogut got hurt
@@sillywillie5076 as soon as he got injured, cavs won 3 in a row.
@@ConnectFork yeah he was killing it on defense untill that point, which is why Cleveland went and got him the next year..
The way espn analysts let Stephen a get away with saying “they won with zaza and bogut as their centre for crying out loud” consistently is alarming. Zaza isn’t good fair enough but bogut was a great player in his day. Fantastic passer with elite rim protection. Made all defensive team and led the league in blocks one year. Oh and he was a number 1 pick so he couldn’t of been that trash could he lmao. So disrespected in the warriors early success run, he was a really good player

I'm from Denver and they beat my nuggets the round before this and they upset the shit out of us. And that's when I said that the warriors are gonna be something. No one batted an eye
MJ Zoom i jumped on the wagon late 12 early 13. But that was probably the mist exciting time to watch them. Watching the potential flourish was crazy.
Benji F Totally agree! At that time they were special but many counted them out as a real contender, which a couple of years later they disproved. Lol
MJ Zoom really cant hate on kd or the office. I mean kd may have made the league boring but the off season is 10000 times more hype now. I remember a time wishing big players would make big moves but no one ever did. Now its like well what team is this superstar going to etc etc. Its awesome.
Dray hitting 3 back then!!! That really got me

Andrew bogut was the only player on that team that made either 1st or 2nd or 3rd all nbateam honors at any point in there careers as of the 2012 season so thats better than being named to the allstar team in the west or east because you are one of the top 15 players period in the league for that year when you make all nba team honors and the same as when you make 1st or 2nd team defense, your one of the top 10 defensive players in the league for that year

Shawn Pieper You're wrong.
No that was definitely a 3. It looks funny because he’s usually about 4-5ft behind the arc but if you pause it at just the right spot, you can see he’s about 1 inch behind it. Besides, the NBA has a special video center in New Jersey filled with refs that review these type of things when it happens. They call it a 3 on the floor but sometimes you watch them take it away and change it to a 2 pointer 30 seconds later.
