ASMR Lidl Grocery Haul for 3 Weeks 🛒 (Soft-Spoken) • Part 1 of 2
#asmrgroceryhaul
We all deserve a little haul now and again!
Thank you to for the video request, @k9tattoo948.
The video answers the question: what does a woman buy when she goes shopping to Lidl for a 3-week supply of groceries on an empty stomach?
Bags and bags of stuff (hello there, pizza! wine! crisps!).
And afterwards, she jabbers on about it for more than an hour. 😀 You're getting half an hour today, followed by another half an hour in a video later this week.
And as I'm showing prices, you'll also get an idea of how much groceries cost here in Belgium.
In this first part, you'll see a show & tell of the non-chilled food items I bought.
Fridge and freezer stuff to come out later on this week.
I hope you'll enjoy all the sounds this video holds. They are all for you. ❤
Thank you for being here.
Take good care of yourself - ❤ Kat

Are groceries more expensive where you are? Or cheaper?
So much more it's a struggle 😢
In Serbia, where the average salary is less than 900eur, most of the Lidl groceries cost 2x more. Most of the people work for approx. 500eur a month. Burger buns are around 2eur (same brand). Lemon juice is more than 1eur. It is stunning how we manage to survive.
I was so surprised you only paid 236 euros for 3 weeks! I live in Central Florida, US and you'd be lucky to pay that for 1 week! The price of everything has skyrocketed here over including groceries and fuel. I loved this video, thank you!
Florida also, if you have kids it's more. I can't drink orange juice but that is ridiculously cheap lol. Starting to think we should move out of the country lol
Florida here too, Pasco county. Groceries are crazy. $8.99 for s pound of Greenwise butter today at Publix. 😳😳😳🤬🤬😡
Oh how lovely to hear your voice. Not surprising it sounds so royal - cultured, articulate and so refined ✨. Your English is excellent, - it's better than most people with English as their first language. I'd say your grocery prices are on par with prices here when converting to Aussie dollars. I spend a minimum of $250 a week, but when all the kids lived at home closer to $300. There's been a steep rise in prices here over the past year or so, therefore I'm trying to shop more at Aldi's and market places for better value. Looks like you have some quality items there. I guess we don't mind paying a little more for good quality! Thanks for sharing your shopping haul. Very interesting and highly relaxing. Looking forward to part 2 🤗🛒🩷💚🌟✨🫶
Would love to see more soft spoken videos in the future, your voice is so relaxing.
Thank you, Travis. ❤
I buy $200 a month for myself. Including kitty foods. Your voice is so charming! 😲🥲🥰🇨🇦🙋🏻♀️⛵⚓⛵Just getting veggies, ramen, weiners and kippers. No other meats. Mostly small meals. Eggs too. $8 a dozen. I bake flatbread to cut bread costs. I do it every three days. This is not cleaning supplies or toilet paper, body shampoos. Love this post. Always do. The LOTR reference was great! Elevensies meal. 😅 I live on an Island so costs are high here. But I live in a suite alone and no hydro costs.
Just realised by the end of the video your prices are a lot less than here in Australia. Most of those items we'd pay at least twice as much for. Even a tub of butter/margarine is about $7 now. The only thing that's stayed at a relatively low price is pasta, so we tend to eat a lot of it! 🍝 We don't have Lay's chips here (we used to). The yummiest chips here are Kettle and Red Rock Deli - both slow cooked and scrumptious! Grab a bag if you ever see them 😄👌
Thanks, Super Carolyn. ❤ I can't imagine having to pay double for a full shopping trolley. It's gotten to a point where people are having to save up for a trip to the grocery store. 😮🙂 Thanks for the tip; we have Kettle crisps here in supermarkets. Yummy! Have you ever tried the Camembert & Smoked Garlic ones? Red Rock Deli doesn't appear to have reached Belgium yet but I'll keep an eye out for them.
@@PoisabloomASMR Yes, the cost of living here just keeps rising - it's hard to keep up. Average house price is now a cool million - they're pricing many people out of the market 😦 I think our Kettle chips are from a different company than the overseas ones - not sure who had the name first 😄.. but still, if you see the Aussie Kettle or the Red Rock Deli chips, grab a bag or two - you won't be disappointed 🥰
Love the commentary! Please do more of these. Maybe read us a children's book while you turn water damaged magazines ❤ Or just read the water damaged magazines or newspapers. You have a wonderful voice and tempo. Thank you for all you do!
Reading aloud while turning water-damaged pages, sounds like a great idea. Thanks! ❤
Your voice is really lovely, Kat. I like your accent too! Indonesian currency is pretty weak compared to other countries, so everything is more expensive, lol. Off to part two I go! Thanks for the video, Kat! Hope all is well, and have a good day/night!
I love this video it's putting me to sleep the whispering is perfect and the crinkles are 👍
I love this vid.... fell asleep at orange juice!
Eat. Listen to an ASMR video. Sleep. Repeat. 😀😴
this commentary is so dreamy😍 more soft spoken pleaseee
Thank you, Tibatha. ❤
Wow, you have great prices there. I'm in the US and we spend at least that much on groceries every week. We do have Lay's crisps here, but neither of the flavors you mentioned. This is a fun video. Thanks, Kat. 😊
Last week I heard a lady in the checkout-line comment to another lady while pointing to the contents of her shopping trolley: "Betcha this'll be over 350 euros." *shakes head in disbelief* "Let's all just stop eating altogether ." 😮 What flavours of crisps are popular where you live? I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Patrice. Thank you for your comment! ❤
@PoisabloomASMR we have so many crisp flavors, but probably the most consistently popular varieties are salt & vinegar, sour cream & onion, and barbecue. Do you have those flavors?
Yah !, been waiting for that beautiful voice to put me to sleep. Thank you.
Aw, thank you so much. 🤗
The prices are crazy. The same exact pasta in Slovakia costs like 1,2€ and the average gross pay monthly in 2023 was 1403 €. And from what I found in The Netherlands it was €2855 in 2023. I know there are ton of other factors such as reality estate prices, fuel prices etc, but seeing this is realy crazy.
I should probably add that I was refering to to the 55 cent fussili :D
The fussili being so much cheaper here than in Slovakia is weird. Probably has to do with transportation costs? Or just another example of "greedflation"? 🤨
@@PoisabloomASMRin Serbia is a "greedflation". Nicely said. Everything is much more expensive than in Netherlands, with a poor average salary.
We spend about $250.00 USD a week for groceries and none of it is junk. I cook everything homemade. It’s horrible here. Thank you for the wonderful video ❤
Your voice is lovely and very calming!! 😊
Thank you, Dan. ❤
I absolutely LOVE YOUR accent and sense of humor
Haha, thanks! Now it's your turn. 😉
@@PoisabloomASMRand I want you to know that you're my absolute favorite I I just appreciate you you help me so much you don't even know days like today I feel very discouraged like this is never going to work out for me but then I remember your Regal words of saying it takes time keep going don't stop and I appreciate you
@PoisabloomASMR Hahah what do you mean? The talking part? On one of my new videos that I've got to learn how to do the angles and stuff better but I'm getting there I did a little bit of whispering and my daughter even said Mom you got to do it people love it you have the voice for it so I'm going to try but you have paved the way my love thank you so much and if that's not what you meant let me know LOL
Yes, that's exactly what I meant! 😀 I'd love to hear your voice. It's already been ASMR-approved by your daughter, so it must be a perfect fit for these types of relaxing videos. I'm glad my videos inspire you but credit should be given where credit is due and it lies 100% with you! ❤
@@PoisabloomASMRthank you so much you don't know how much I appreciate that.❤
Давно не смотрел ваши видео,вот зашел и сразу ваше видео с голосом.Голос ваш нравится❤ Также поздравляю с 8 марта!!!
Hey there Kat! 🤗 Do you know that your grocery haul videos are amazing? Well they are. 🙂 I love your descriptions and how you explain the pricing. I think maybe using a highlighter instead of a pen would it make it easier to see when you cross out an item on the receipt, but it's still absolutely fine as is. I also love the crinkles when you trace the packages. Heavenly tingles 🤤. Carolyn is right, of course. Your voice is cultured and refined and just beautiful ❤. I have your other spoken videos in my favorites list and I listen to them quite often. They're some of your most relaxing videos, in my opinion. Thank you so much Kat and have a great weekend! 💜💟
Thank you thank you thank you, Super Darren! ❤ I didn't think you'd be keen on a grocery haul video. I figured you'd only tolerate it as a brief interlude in-between the good stuff: the page turning videos. 🙂 But I'm pleasantly surprised again. Although I have to admit that these videos take much more time and energy to make for a lazy person like me, so they won't appear here on a regular basis. (But you can expect part 2 later on today.) Listening to your own voice is a weird experience. Have you ever been confronted with your own voice? It makes me question many things, one of which being "how did I even get this far in life?" I cannot for the life of me understand how others are able to enjoy it. But again, surprise! 😀 Another thanks for the gift! ❤ I hope the weekend is off to a good start for you. 🌞
Oh, I know what you mean about hearing your own voice. It sounds so different than how we hear it in our heads, right? I have a terrible voice. I always have to be conscious of speaking louder and clearly when talking to customers as I tend to mumble when I don't pay attention. I've also been told I have a quite low voice that is sometimes hard to understand. Oh well, that's ok, can't have everything 😀. Oh, by the way, you are definitely not lazy. Heck, if you're lazy then I don't know what I would be 😜. Also, I forgot to mention before that I think your witty, easy-going humor adds a fun element to your speaking videos that makes them even better and more enjoyable (not that they weren't that already) ❤. Take care!@@PoisabloomASMR
Thanks, Super Darren! ❤ If it's any consolation, I find it much easier to talk to people that have a low, soft voice than those with a loud voice that bulldozes over other people's voices. Tone of voice often sets the tone for the entire conversation. 🙂

Good video. I liked hearing your voice. The cost of living is ridiculous everywhere especially here in Australia. My grocery bill has gone up about $30 on what it used to be and I buy healthy foods. I am vegetarian so a lot of fruit and vegetables. I cook my own meals but everything has gotten so expensive. Breakfast staples like cereal is now $6 so I’ve stopped buying the brand I used to buy. I’ve just cut back or stopped buying certain items. Some of it is just price gouging by the supermarkets. We don’t have Lays chips here and I don’t eat chips anyway. Interesting that the packaging was in English. I like seeing grocery items from different countries.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. 🙏 Wow, $6 for cereal is wild! It's remarkable how grocery bills keep going up while some of the ingredients used for food production get cheaper. 😕
I live in Virginia, US. We pay about $120. For 1 week of groceries. That’s about double what we payed a little more than a year ago.
Wow, that's costly. 😮
Thank you so much, I donated you a bit as a thank you💕
Thank you, you're wonderful, Super K9tattoo948. ❤
Omg that’s so good for 3 weeks of groceries compared to us in tne US right now
May I ask how much higher grocery costs are where you live? I'm doing a comparative study. 😉
@PoisabloomASMR well, for 3 people which is who I buy for, for 3 weeks, it's about $320, things have gone up so much here and that's not shopping with champagne taste hahhaa that's basic like normal things.
I live by myself in Germany, and usually spend about 200-250€ on groceries every month.
Nice video! Groceries in the US are incredibly expensive. I have a teenage son and feel like I have to replenish groceries right after I come home with them. 😅
Being a teenager basically means eating food while waiting for other food to be ready.😁
Exactly! 😂
Bedankt
Dank je wel voor het cadeau! ❤
Hi 👋 omg really cool video 😊 you I love pepperoni 😋😋
Off topic.. But Your English is absolutely incredible. I'm curious about what age you started learning and if its compulsory? Xx
That pack of kiwis would cost $10 Canadian..I live on an island and the food cost is outrageous here. That 236 euro bill is $346 Canadian dollars and that would be for about a one week grocery
$346 Canadian dollars for 1 week of groceries sounds painful. Imagine if you went shopping on an empty stomach; that would probably turn that $350 into $450. 🙃
In Canada a family of four spend average of 1;500.00 dollars per month@@PoisabloomASMR
Those kiwis would be equivalent to 9.14 euros here
💙💜🖤
Lidl management: "Hmmm..that's strange. We seem to have sold an unusually large amount of wine recently..."
Wine flies when you're having fun. 😉🍷
🤣@@PoisabloomASMR
I usually spend 200€ a month or less - being vegan is cheap 🤫
You're lucky! Yes, meat prices these days are crazy. I'm glad I don't eat it either. 😉🙂
