Bass Fishing With a Bluegill Crankbait and Texas Rig (Spring Fishing)
Today I am bass fishing with a bluegill crankbait and Texas rigs. The lipless crankbait I am throwing today has a bluegill pattern. I start out fishing it in open water without much success. But as soon as I cast alongside the dock, I hook into a big bass weighing about 3 pounds. I love the feeling of a bass grabbing a crankbait. After switching to a Texas rig and moving to the other side of the lake, I catch another largemouth bass weighing about 1 pound. If you have a chance to go bass fishing this spring, maybe try a bluegill pattern crankbait. If you catch get a bit on that, maybe a Texas Rig. #fishing #realistic

Idk if you're seeing this but maybe somebody else will. I went fishing yesterday for the first time in 15 years or more. I was feeling inspired after binging these videos and had already bought a pole and some lures. After watching a couple videos I got over my anxiety and just went out with a spinnerbait and managed to catch 3 bass!! All 3 were dinks but I was shaking with excitement and its all thanks to your videos. Keep 'em coming and KEEP IT REALISTIC!

Before ya know it, them dinks will turn into 2 lbers and big ole "footballs" as RF calls them. And then you'll catch that 5+ lb porker.

That first bass was a beefy angry gal. That second one wasn't bad either. Quick question: Aside from size, is there a definitive way to tell female bass apart from males? Little bit different than bluegill where the more vividly colored fish are male.
Is that a house out there by the drain on the lake, or is that the baitshop?
