This is why she was one of my favourite Bridgertons from the books, you kinda stick out like a sore thumb when all your siblings are outgoing and you’re the introverted one that always keeps to yourself. That and her not being as close to the other Bridgerton siblings as they are to each other is why I relate to her so much

Sorry for the long response, wasn’t sure the “her” you were referring to, the character or the actress😅
Oh I always thought she was close to Eloise. Hence why in the books she's so mad that she misses Eloise's wedding.
@@janekof Oh, she is the close to Eloise, but even then, not in the way Eloise and Benedict are close to each other, that’s what I meant in my comment above
what? they’re all very close. sure some pair of siblings might be closer, but that’s just how each relationship between them is special. i really wouldn’t say francesca isn’t as close to them as as they are to each other

So, can you help me understand the difference in the characters? So Francesca is more withdrawn and reserved and Eloise is withdrawn but more so in a “I want nothing to do with higher society and getting married” kind of way? More of a rebel? I read different things about Francesca’s character, and I felt like she was very similar to Eloise’s character, but many people tell me that they’re quite different.
@@hithisismyusername Eloise is not withdrawn at all, she's boisterous and has many passions and interests. Francesca is much more shy and introverted than the other siblings but I wouldn't say withdrawn. She just wants peace. Hope that helps!
I feel like her personality is almost opposite to mine but she's my favorite nonetheless its refreshing and her story on the books is my fave
@@starryxblue perhaps withdrawn is the wrong word choice, but I meant that she wants to withdraw from the expectation she’s supposed to fulfill and live up to and high society’s rules for young ladies altogether. I guess when I’ve heard people refer to Francesca as the outcast or black sheep, I was confused because that seems to describe Eloise. I understand Francesca’s character a bit better now after seeing the first part of season 3.
Oh my goodness if she ends up having social anxiety like many of us, it would be very relatable.

More anxiety propaganda only leads to more people diagnosing themselves with a form of social anxiety. Representation of mental health issues leads to a rise in the incidence of those issues, so I disagree.
@@parafraceren except u CAN self diagnose social anxiety, because that is exactly what they have, anxiety to having to be around people (social) .
I can’t wait to see Francesca’s role in this season. I’ve always been disappointed that we didn’t see much of her in the last two seasons. But so far, she’s fully impressed me. Her book is one of my favorites. I think I will like her even more than Eloise.
Did we see her at all? I'm rewatching season 1 at all and haven't seen her mentioned at all. Only Hyacinth

She looks like a combo between Violet & Daphne. Her style is pretty similar. In fact if you look closely she is wearing the same debute gown that Daphne wore
I don’t see Violet at all, but I see Daphne. However, she looks older than Daphne and Eloise. Ruby looked the aged and looked, like Eloise, as though she were related to and could actually be Violet’s daughter.

I like that because Francesca wasn't as much in the earlier seasons (I heard it was because of conflicting schedules, which is why they eventually casted a new actress), we (who haven't read the books) are just as curious and she's just as mystery to us as she is to the members of the ton 😊.

Ruby was hardly in the series. She was more of a cameo guest star. But it looks like they will expand on Francesca's role this season. The new actress is a stunner.

@@calistafalcontail Yeah no. I'm not coming for their looks. I'm coming for their personalities in the show. She is reserved and doesn't like socialising. Someone who does not share her energy and time with people. Someone who is content with the quiet and knows how to disappear. And that's what I mean by being invisible. And Yeah? Penelope in a new hairstyle and dress does change her appearance? Hair theory? Colour schemes? Penelope is gorgeous, always has been. She just switched to colours and hairstyles that compliment her more.

Eloise seems fine around people, she just doesnt like most people. Shes not really introverted and shy, shes just easily annoyed it seems and she thinks most things around her are stupid...which comes with a slight ungratefulness for her priviledge.

I am an introvert, and I tend to recharge my energy by being alone or in calm environments. This doesn’t mean that I’m always quiet or that I can’t enjoy a dance or a party; I simply need more time alone later on to feel renewed. I hate that the introverts are always painted as antisocial, barely talking, or being very shy, because not all introverts are like that. In fact we plenty enjoy talking when they conversation is interesting to us.

I wonder if the reason why they’re splitting season 3 into two parts is so that they can tackle two Bridgerton books at once. Collin and Penelope can’t fill up an entire season on their own. Plus from this little teaser of Francesca Bridgerton, I’m more interested in her story than Collin and Penelope’s. Keep in mind that Penelope has been one of my favorite Bridgerton characters thus far but so is Francesca. It’s time she got her season and if not a season, at least half of a season would suffice.
No, this whole season is Colin and Penelope and they absolutely can fill the entire season themselves. We are starting the backstory for Francesca's book and possibly the start of Benedict's book this season, but we are only having one lead couple in S3 and that's Polin.
