I know that when you are on a job you need to get it done in a timely manner and at cost effective measures. I once poured a concrete slab for the garbage cans. It was almost 4 feet wide and about 8 inches thick. I hand mixed in 5 gallon buckets 22 bags of ready mix sakrete. My fingernails hurt like crazy for a fair spell. I hand vibrated it each poured bucket until it was glass smooth. When the company decided to take mine out and pour fresh to get all concrete looking the same maybe? Their full size excavator couldn't break it even when they put an edge on another slab. They then tried to put it whole into the dump truck and hoses started to leak and the big dump truck bed sank down about 6 to 9 inches. Much lower than it was when they brought in the river rock. You should have heard the sound it made too. I bet it dented the floor. Now knowing the size and details, why didn't it break? It took over 2 years before snow was able to accumulate on the surface. BTW, no reinforcement at all. I didn't want iron oxide in it.

You seem to be really happy that you're not dredging out ponds or clearing lots in the rain Chris. Seem a bit excited too because you get to crush some concrete. Looking forward to to the next video where you'll be crushing the concrete. Will be interesting to see.
I could watch that for hours. Thanks for the video.
Hi Chris you are doing the community proud with your work
It is impressive that you can tell what is going to happen, while your hands take care of the digging.
Looks like a good spot for some of those copperhead 🐍 serpents to be hibernating under that concrete ?
I bet a video with Charlie and Justin together would be very entertaining!!!
Those large squares of concrete would make beautiful garden pathways.
Those large rocks could be used as land fills like new roads or for drainage system as a land fill
Yes they could but all I can see is that beautiful patina that we gardeners pay hundreds of dollars to get. I know that when you are on a job you need to get it done in a timely manner and at cost effective measures. I know that if some of my fellow gardeners ever got their eyes on those squares they would pay a pretty penny for them. It’s funny how different people look at scraps to some it’s treasure and others it’s trash.
@@cindyking9813 Sounds like some of the New administration's green plans. Pave over the gardens with three- four inches of green concrete ? Going to put up mini windmills or is it solar panel gardens yer after ? Either way, costs be dammed long as someone else is paying for it. Right on.
@@deconteesawyer5758 I think you have the wrong idea of what I was trying to say I’m no green new deal girl. I was talking about beautifully landscaped gardens like mine that have wide walkways to meander thru them. I was thinking of how beautiful those pads would be with all that patina on them to compliment the beauty I already have in my garden. Also I as I stated we gardeners pay hundreds of dollars for that patina. I guess you missed the part about “we pay”. Also I was thinking that reclaiming them would be a good use of a resource....one of many good uses.
@@cindyking9813 You"ll have to forgive those of us who don't share your opinion that massive slabs of concrete belong in or enhance the beauty of a garden.
Got a good jump on it so far , that should go pretty quick !! So, Charlie has a whole other Machine for "Rock Crushing", Hell that Dirt Machine you used last year was nice !! Can't wait to see this one !! lolol.... Ought to pretty cool to watch !! Great as always Chris, Have a Great Evening Man !! On to the Next....
Looking forward to following this project. Looks like a fun one especially if Charlie's machinery will be involved 🤔
Nice to have Charlie's "Alchemy Activity" on call with his machinery, Chris! How to do leftovers into gold! Haha!
One hell of a operator
All those piles remind me of a perfect place for snakes to hide and surprise the operator walking through and taking a nice intro to his video
I think running that mess through the crusher will be interesting. Nice sorting job.
Now I know why you bought a dozer for the grading. 😊👌
Well, what they saved over the years by, "We deal with it later." they pay you now triple. I hope 😁
Sounds like asbestos, really. "Ehh if we wait long enough it's somenoe else's problem".
@@2xKTfc nah, just useless concrete, asbestos would be used for roofing and like fill-up plates or something, not old concrete slabs
That material would make an awesome retaining wall around a pond to keep out silt and sand
Looking forward to another installment with copperheadmarine
That arm keeps picking away like some prehistoric predator feeding on concrete and mud.
Love this channel
You sure find stuff to stay busy. I like the logic too. Charlie's crusher is hungry to eat that concrete 👍
I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Good job Chris
Another great video Chris and I can’t wait till old Charlie gets over there with you I like your videos with him and Justin in them, because they both comical as hell but anyway brother you and your family stay safe keep the videos coming
Hello. Nice excavator! The operator is top class! 👍
Imagine how many snakes are living in that pile of concrete! Probably more than in Congress.
Damn Republicans
Nope. Congress would beat most places.
Washington snake pile would be 30 feet tall. Add the the lobbyists and the pile be a 100 feet high
@@stephencarlson1160 oh dont worry. He is definitely taking about all the demorats
@@stephencarlson1160 I think maybe it's the republicrats.
Love the video Chris and love to see the Dozer to .
That is a massive amount of concrete. The excavator worked great grabbing and crushing all of the concrete!! That’s gonna be cool to watch the concrete crushing process. I can’t believe the lazy slobs who dumped all of their garbage there. They must’ve demolished an entire building or bridge or something. Great work!
I thoroughly enjoy these videos.....Thank you! :-)
Lots of concrete 😎🇺🇸
Good job, thanks for posting
OCD overload for me......big hole and dozer would be my plan .... but your "vision" of what it will be makes more sense!! Can't wait to see it crushed!
Good all your equipment is on tracks. Those mending plates off those rafters would severly chew up a rubber tire.
So free sand from yesterday's video, and free crushed stones for a driveway from today's.. Sweet
It is a Royal pain cleaning up after someone elses mess I cleaned many big messes up & I am a big fan of reuseing martial it sure makes it ez
As the slabs are fed through there's a magnet on the roller right that will drop the wire onto a sled to sort the concrete from the waste to offer a good base correct?
🔥🔥🔥 GREAT TO SEE YA GET A LITTLE SUNSHINE SEÑOR DIG!!!
You really get all the fun jobs Chris 😀👍
Put a good dent in the concrete Chris, good job brother! 👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Chris what do you use the crushed concreate on driveways or fill ?
Wait Chris now you're the Picasso of parking lots too!!!! Looks like you need an AMI sifter bucket now!!! Another great video!!!!
Just like in Zombieland, you got to give each slab a double tap.
Another great video chris🤙
Hi Chris you make it look so easy I been watching for a while and find I am suggesting things/ways you should do jobs, funny I have never operated an excavator the best is a forklift. Thanks for your interesting and well-presented KZhead.
Out of curiosity what editing program do you use for your channel and what kind of camera
Couple of them boulders from the Vet site and you wouldn't even need the crusher. Drop them suckers on the pile until there ain't any slabs left.
Bonus! A concrete crusher for instant base material! And no trucking needed.
Fine squares of concrete. Wondering what they have been used for.
Looking forward to more videos on this project Chris!
Yes we finally get to see the dozer in action 😎
You need heavy rain to clean up that mud out of concrete :)
Chris aka "Dr. Later", the archaeological miner. Discovering and taking care of those "Take Care of it Later" (TM) piles.
It's always an added bonus to see Charlie
You sure put your LD18 thumb through the mill!!!
