Thank you for this video....learned alot
Glad it was helpful!
there's something about the brutality of pike rigs that gives me adrenaline.
Great video (y)
Thank you bud, great video.
Glad you enjoyed it. 🙌
With the first method. Did you put a weight on the leader? I want to try it but i am afraid if i put the weight on the leader the pike wil notice the resistance. Or did you put a swivel lead on your mainline so when the pike grabs the bait there is no resistance and the pike kan swim away with the bait?
Ive used the float sticks in the exact same way had alot of small pike biting an letting go do you think the pike can feel the float stick ? as it bites into the bait. Great vid
It's probably because they are small pike that they are dropping the bait. It's unlikely they would feel the stick if it's inside the bait.
If you think they are feeling the stick you can use a piece of foam rod instead.
Opton 4: Inject air into half a lamprey because lampreys are expensive, seal off the cut end with bait elastic.
Hey guys, I recently bought some of the sticks from you. I'm using the largest one and the buoyancy is terrible. They're not even lifting small sardines off the bottom. Any advice?
Hi sonikks, the most efficient way of popping up heavy deadbeats such as sardines, herring and mackerel would be the bait poppers. The balsa sticks work well on baits such as smelt.
