  • Once again, the monsters failed to call Samara for backup. Everyone forgets just how OP she is. Simply upload her cursed video to a web server, and make sure to open the well inside her Loopworld, and she'll transcend the need for VHS, and become virtually unstoppable. Thanos would have to think fast with the Mind and Soul stones, or Samara could solo him! Her only real weakness is that she can't hurt him in the dream plane. But if he goes there to escape her, he runs into Freddy at his most powerful! Instead, these monsters just keep attacking him with knives, like he's nothing more than a skanky teenage girl, and then act shocked that a knife didn't do anything!

    • Seriously, what would be the difference even if Samara was there? Thanos with the gaunlet is a multiversal being. There's just no way for them to defeat the time, space, reality, space, mind, power and soul stones. The Avengers would beat these characters easily.

    • @@BugattianVeyronian : She doesn't always require a week to give you a heart attack or drive you to suicide. Watch The Ring Two. She so detests father figures, that after possessing Aidan, the first one to come along since Noah's death gets killed in almost an instant from flash photography! Thanos would still need to anticipate her moves on his mind faster than she could make them. The Mind Stone might help him, but it'd be his only defense against her. Her nensha (projected thermography) is even more fast-acting than Pennywise preying on fear, so she'd be like fighting Pennywise on meth. Attacks on his mind happening faster than he can react to them would definitely tip the scales. Instead, they relied only on Pennywise, who has a lot more weaknesses that Thanos can readily exploit. And then there's the others. Their weapons are lame as can be. Even the Iron Man MK 50 barely scratched Thanos, and they thought knives and chainsaws would be enough! And if Samara isn't powerful enough, go back to the original Sadako. Or any of a number of other Japanese spirits. Thanos would have a much harder time against an army of them! Kayako actually ranks pretty weak on the scale. Most western monsters are nerfed like crap. But that's because they aren't all soul-suckers or invincible screeching thrashers that just don't give two craps. Rather, most western Hollywood monsters aren't interested in becoming capable of battling something like Thanos or Dormammu. They're content to put a knife into drunken, promiscuous high school and college students, cut them up, and call it good. That's because Japanese spirits are rooted in ancient superstitions about karma befalling those who betray family or dishonor tradition. Western monsters are largely rooted in sexually-frustrated writers carrying out revenge fantasies against the promiscuous twats that bullied them when they were young. Creatures born of such petty revenge fantasy are too pithy to scale up to a cosmic Malthusian death warrior with magic rocks capable of making the One Ring look like a child's toy! Apart from Pennywise and Freddy, Thanos winning would've been a foregone conclusion.

    • @@DozerfleetProd I wouldn't write a script on what may possibly happen but I don't see how Samara or Sadako can defeat Thanos with the gauntlet. These beings though are spirits but bound by time, space, reality, power, soul and mind. Mind reading, soul manipulation, time, space, energy and reality warping. Sorry, I just don't see how Samara and Sadako can defeat one who possesses these abilities.

  • Freddy would be the only real danger of them. He is in the dream world and not in the physical world. That means every time Thanos sleeps he is in real danger, since the real life abilities does not work in there. He would die just as easy as the rest if they stay long enough in there where Freddy is the game master....

    • I think that the soul stone would be a better choice for Freddy Kruger since in most of the Nightmare on elm street movies he's stealing his victims souls and it's their souls that gives him his strength. The soul stone would help him control the souls he steals and help him steal even more souls.

  • Thanos has the power of a Type 3 civilization. With the Infinity Gauntlet he is at least Type 4. All of these monsters will get crushed by someone with a Type 2 Civilization's power so they will be mere dust against Thanos.
