Connor Bedard scored a pair of goals under four minutes apart in the second period, Michael Bunting and Brandon Hagel also found the back of the net and Canada kicked off its Men's World Hockey Championship with a win over Great Britain.
Lol, why is "FULL HIGHLIGHTS" in the title if you don't even show all the goals 😂

As a Canadian, I honestly think the big story here is how well GB played! Even though Canada was favoured, Britain made them work hard for that win. I've attended Superleague/EIHL games in the UK, and in the course of 25 years the clubs have gone from a majority Canadian players to probably as many British players, so the sport is really taking a hold there -- and they've got some excellent talent. Great job to both teams!!
That's so nice of you to say that matey. Hockey over here is so down the list of the likes of football rugby cricket etc etc so we hardly get any funding + our GB lads are on peanuts compared to all the other teams. Really enjoying watching our GB lads and also our Canadian friends 🏒 all the best matey 🏒
You know when you show highlights....showing all the goals is a good idea. Even as a guy from GB...we lost 4-2 show all 4 goals.

It’s cool seeing all of these countries getting better. Only beat them by 2 goals. That would never have happened 10 years ago

Totally unrelated subject but what really really bugs me about European fans is how they whistle excessively when the opposition side are controlling the puck (especially on power plays). Very bad sportsmanship in my opinion. You don’t see fans booing away game players in basketball when they are attempting a free throw.

Sometimes Canadian teams play down to the level of their opposition. No offence. But it happens a lot.
Canada just has a bad team this year like we do every IIHF men’s tournament because all the better players don’t wonna play or are in the NHL playoffs
Gb hockey has been improving over the last 5-6 we have players in some of the European leagues

Britain earned their place here. Regardless of the decisions regarding russia this year, GB played against russia in this tournament in 2021.
Price u pay for invading another country I say ban them from every sporting event and the Eurovision Song Contest till Puntin withdraws and stops his bullying they bully the rest of the world should bully back, maybe then the UN might see that and grow some balls imagine if during WW2 all countries said nah ok Germany u just march across Europe taking what u want 🤔😏🙄
