In order to do horses and fairies right, they would need their own pack. They won't use pigs in a sims game because pigs require slaughter in the real world. Even if they implemented pigs differently, the implication is still there.

Okay. I'm not complaining like AT ALL with this pack. It's beautifully made and all that. Although, I'm a bit sad we got no horses. I can imagine my sim walking a small little shetland through a forest, and teaching her kids how to ride too! I also wish we had pigs and maybe goats, but I'm still so super excited for this pack to come out!!

Congratulations!! You may still have time to game while he naps though. I loved when my little guy would snuggle up and fall asleep on my chest and I could use a controller for gaming. I'd also nap with him during some, and just soak in the snuggles other times, but playing games is like self-care for me so I took some time for it too. Now my little guy naps in his crib so I try to actually be productive during those hours. But yeah, if you're anything like me, real life will feel A LOT more like being a Sim now that you're a parent. XD Find the joy in every moment!

I really love how beautiful Sims 4 is and how easy and smooth it runs. Last night though, after a very long time of not playing the Sims 3, I played The Crumplebottom sisters in Moonlight Falls and it satisfied in a way that Sims 4 never did. Idk what's missing with Sims 4. I really want to like it as much as I like the Sims 3.
this is the first time a sims 4 expansion has looked like it has as much content as sims 2 + 3 expansions had... cautiously excited, hopefully it won't be bugged to hell but we will see

EA just has to do the minimum they think they can get away with at all times and then overcharge for it. but theres plenty of benefits to large quantities of well made content being released at fair prices for an extended period after launch

im so pumped!! i literally bought all of that stuff in the sims 3. cow and chicken and i loved how other animals just randomly roamed around. I've always got gardening but i love the homesteading especially when it combines. Lot more emphasis on self sufficiency which is really cool!!

Actually, they said there will be a group cooking! You can have your household cook some good meals and put them on the picnic basket, then have a picnic just like in the trailer! It's such a good feature to have some new family bonding aspect!

I’m sure it’ll be a still cow you can milk and pet, just like the Sims 3, but the Sims 4 will somehow make them worse because they take so much from the great Sims 3 and still manage to disappoint.

And like other derived content from the previous games, in the Sims 4 it always seems rushed and unfinished, it always lacks something that the other packs were able to deliver on. Sims 4 has yet to stand out for something good, even though a lot of the content we’ve seen before. I’m a consumer, and that’s my stand on this installment to the Sims.
There is a lot to be excited for in this trailer; especially if interactions between many different types animals become a common observance and kids can share in more traditionally adult activities. I still can't help seeing the silly idle actions and gestures the sims are doing, paired with the fact the animals in this pack show more emotions than the sims do. The invisible rectangles (lots) that delineate where sim can or cannot go are also felt. Very adorable though!

I still remembered the first time I played The SiMs when I was 10 years old, which is 21 years ago, I thought this is a cool simple game to play, 21 years of development later and this game is waaaay more advanced but still somewhat simple to play, but I would never imagine this much depth and details. This is a must have and will be installed after my about twentieth or something completion of The SiMs Medieval. The SiMs just got fun and interesting again for the first time in a while.

Because it's the Sims 4 and they pull crap like that every time. If they do this right, I'll definitely buy it, I'm sick of having a pet dog that Kind Of looks like my rabbit, hopefully these animals aren't just items like babies, but actual unique pets, be awesome if you can choose traits and such as normal. I think that they're using the same pets system, based on the painted cow and clothing on the animals, like hats and sweaters. Time will tell if they're bamboozling us again or not, I desperately hope not. I really want bunnies, and farming so I can do a better off the grid game, like stranded on an island, or something of that nature.

I've been waiting for this expansion for years! I'm a bit disappointed that sheep and goats does not seem to be included amongst the animals, but I'm so happy that farming finally becomes a real possibility in the Sims! I have made many attempted farms, but they never really truly feel like they're actual farms due to the limited crops and few animals to go with it. This is great!

I was surprised that horses didn't make a come back with this expansion, but I can see it giving room for them in the future from this. Now this is an expansion pack that actually looks like they listened to Simmers. The animals, the world, the furniture, just the whole vibe of it is everything a lot of people have been asking for for the longest time. Yayy! I love that the town looks like a little British countryside town. This actually looks really cute. 🥺 If only it included horses.

I think horses would be a good pack of their own and then they can do a more Appaloosa plains vibe with them and have more content for them (ie horse racing/jumping, different kinds of horses and a more open world for you to ride in)
it's kinda sus how the trailer focuses so MUCH in the bunnies even if cows and chickens are way more expected. don't get me wrong, i love bunnies, but EA gave me trust issues

Well, it's a new pet. But I think it was more just a device to guide us through the scenes. Especially at the end. :)
most likely the cows and chickens will only be interacive thru the coop/barn while bunnies will b more like pets
The image of the sims are the bunnies (social bunny, freezer bunny and even objects inspired in, same with the llamas) so, i think it's because of that they focus the trailer on the bunnies
We have never had real bunnies though that can hop around freely and very interactive so at least it's new gameplay! Plus it makes me think of Beatrix potter!
This actually looks really promising and has features that we've been begging for for years. But Im not going to get too hopeful yet... Snowy escape seemed good at first but lacked depth. Hopefully this one doesn't also just have a load of shells.
I waited for a sale then bought it. 1000% worth it one of the best packs with the most content in it, aside from seasons.

I was a little sad to not see horses, but this looks great!!!
I grew up on a farm, but we didn't have horses. Just pigs, chickens, goats and cows. We had to feed them, breed them and sell them. The only fun thing to do was swim in a river, plant fruits and veges, wash clothes, clean the house, play soccer and go to church. There were wood and zinc houses everywhere. Never saw a rabbit or a fox in my life. I'll get this pack though because it cant be any worse than my actual childhood.

@@greenspark101 its likely they arent coming in this pack, HOWEVER near the end they pan out to an aerial view and there looks to be some sort of summoning circle? could be they introduce fairies as kind of a side thing like the aliens in get to work?

I assume it wouldn't with the amount of animals/kids they have. I think the rabbits might because they are more of a pet but I doubt the chickens,cows, and llamas would.
