@@boratwilson9916 smaller is just gonna make it higher pitched not louder. Bigger pipe is gonna make it deeper pitch the only thing changing volume is mufflers

It sounds very restricted with 2.25 inch pipe. Otherwise great looking truck
2.25 is fine for a 350. Look up engine masters exhaust on youtube. They go over in detail on how to choose the right size for your ride
@@nikyjim you’re probably right. It could be those Chevy emblem exhaust tips, they look really narrow.

I don't know if it is fuel injected (more likely it is) but if that is the case it needs a tune to quiet down that backfire. When I cammed my first Grand Marquis it did the same thing til they programmed a tune for it. The exhaust itself sounds good.
Im lost as to why people dont like backfire, it sounds good lol he doesn’t need to tune it if he doesn’t want to
@@noahhenley8374 Backfiring like that is either poor air to fuel ratio, a misfiring spark plug, or good old-fashioned bad timing which can damage the engine. There is nothing good about rebuilding an new engine.
@@ragintaurusmusclemercury7023 yeah and it would take probably a couple years to ever get to a point of rebuilding with any of those problems…. 2012 ss longtube headers, full tune coming the 28th, besides he could have a crackle tune for all you know
