That would actually be pretty crazy, only thing is if you change to a new set of weapons you got to spend your resources again so I don't like weapon skills on pilots cuz me and most other people are going to change weapons at some point

Good thing about the Gauss weapons is they can fire even if not fully charged, so if you shot someone and they still have a hair of life left, you can wait a second and take them out. You might want to shoot one or two first to take out a shield, then use the remaining ones to get the kill 😁 takes a little bit of skill and planning to use them at their best potential
Had a Sniper Hawk that was okay but when the Lynx runs up on you invisible 90% of the time sucks. Quantum Radar takes 30sec to use again 😄 Imugi shooting and flying while invisible 😁
800 m range is quite low for a sniper unless of course it one shots bots like Tonans and Fulgur. Prisma is the best
I don't think they do much when they're not fully charged though but at least you do have the option to shoot on a partial charge but with the reaper is you don't and that's the worst part about them is 15 seconds with no ammo is terrible

I actually made a tank hanger video recently and I think I put punisher and punisher tea and thunders on everything I can't remember exactly what weapons I ran but it was a fun hanger only prime is if you're trying to play free-for-all all this little fast robots can get away from you and escape and then somebody else steals your kill so a full tank hanger is pretty amazing until you need to be fast lol but I actually did either a video or a live stream on that I can't remember but I did put out a tank hanger recently.

I should do a mothership video I mean motherships are kind of hard to get, but I think what's more important is having torrent slots that you like because they do seem to nerf the abilities on the mothership sometimes but it'll still be good if you can put like two durability extenders or two gravity amplifiers on there or something so there's some different things to look at but I am planning on doing a video like that very soon

I think reaper is the best weapon of all because it can break defense( especially lynx and reflector of harpy or siren) despite the long cooldown❤ Also have a good day❤
I believe the gauss family of weapons goes through defenses as well and there's also a light and medium version of those. But the reload is much shorter so I think they're a better choice personally, 18 seconds is just a really long time not to have any ammo

Yeah, there's a lot of things that they rebalance and they're still really good afterwards but unfortunately that reload time just makes these kind of not great, maybe if they had a 10 second reload they would still be worth it but 15 is crazy

I think we can play beacon rush with crisis. The shieldbreaker ability and it just being a glass cannon, not surviving much makes it an ideal sniper bot. Even if sniping for 2 minutes only it does the job.
All right so let's just say the enemy team has control of the beacons, are you going to be able to go get those back with a crisis?? All your team has to do is grab three beacons and hold those three for 51% of the game I guess it is but if you have two or three people sometimes more standing in the back corner not getting any beacons which I see on probably about 60% of the games I play your team is guaranteed to lose because nobody was getting beacons. Now if you have one guy in a crisis and he knows that when the enemy team controls the bacons he needs to kill it off and drop a beacon robot I guess that's okay but that's not how most people work at they just sit there in the back corner even if the other team has five beacons and they snipe and they lose

I think you get about 1.2 seconds worth of shooting those before they run out of ammo lol I feel like I'm doing more reloading than firing with those so they're kind of obsolete in my opinion, to me they don't seem great overall because of that reason
I haven't used prismas since the introduction of Erebus, they are fun. Reapers SUK, I agree " Johnny B. Goode " 😁 just don't like camping. I heard smutas got a buff, I'm gonna try them.
i ran reaper lynx for a while. was a super fun setup, but the reload is sooo long now. I was able to manage the reload between using ability and phase shift, but not anymore.
Yeah reload times on that kills it I mean at least the prismas you can shoot even if you're not fully reloaded but on these You're just like waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting lol
Also, should I run the shatter weapons on the invader? If not what other weapons could I use? 2x light, 1 medium
I would go Mace/Cudgel or Shatter/Splinter, but the latter got nerfed hard and fires slowly so I would go Mace/Cudgel

Shutters are okay I mean they're not as strong as they used to be they're just kind of like an average weapon at this point,. I really like mace and cudgel,. Don't just always seem to do really well on the invader
Siren with stellar hornets is great for killing those campers. Wipes out an erebus in one flight. Gets a crisis done even faster if you catch it with its stealth off. Just don't forget to put a last stand on, because way too many ppl like to shoot at the reflector. Another piloting trick is to fly it as low as possible.
I would really like the hornets if they didn't have such a long reload time, for me that makes them not much fun, you got to have a lot of patience to play that lol, overall they're great weapons if you don't mind the long reload though, they do a lot of damage per shot
@@Danny-Lightning-WR Yeah my thoughts exactly. Hornets don't reload while firing which is really bad for such a midrange weapon. I remember pins and tulumbases also couldn't reload while firing back in the day, but they were fixed later. However siren has 18 sec ability cooldown, so 12 sec reload of hornets isn't an issue.
1:28 you shot the ococokohi and it used its ability when you were half empty so it converted your damage to dot damage which meant that you killed it.
That dot on the ochi kochie is weird I will say that,. I don't understand how that works exactly the idea is supposed to make him stronger and not kill him it's just a weird deal but maybe you're right I don't know that's a confusing ability LOL
I'm surprised that the Reaper got nerfed so bad. I have 3 Gausses and I just wish to get a 4th one if I open another Gold Chest. I have two Crisises and are my only Tier 4 sniper robots. If I have another sniper robot, I'll build the Jaeger and try it with Gauss and the nerfed Reapers.
You should have used crisis with Kestrel. And the pilot skill for guass reload

Johnny Be Good. Shame to see that the Reapers have taken such a big hit. So if you don't think sniper bots should be used on Beacon Games, then are there particular bots you would recommended for large-map beacon games?
Anything that can take or set on a beacon in defend it is good in the beacon game, generally you want to drop a fast robot like a skyros or a curry That's good and durable and can get to a beacon quickly but 90% of beacon games are won by getting three beacons and holding them for 51% of the game. It's okay to have maybe like one sniper but you shouldn't drop that until your team has control of the map and then you can help clear off people trying to steal the beacon with a sniper but generally you just need durable or fast and durable robots like fenrir, invader, Curie, phantom, now if you're playing with a squad and you're on voice comms and everybody knows what's going on in certain people are assigned to go get certain beacons running a sniper at the start may not be bad but you have to be willing to kill that off if the other team takes control and you need to get the beacons. Hopefully this was helpful

They are currently a very good, I'm pretty sure those are probably going to be rebalanced sometime soon unfortunately but as right now they are great weapons

Crisis dies very very easy, bohemoth is a bit harder to take down, when you hit the ability button on the crisis you do a lot of extra damage so it depends, squishy but more damage on crisis and good damage and more durability on the behemoth

Johnny be good, Prismas are insane, they do (on mk3) ~11.000 damage every 0,7 seconds while the gauss has to reload to do full damage
The reload time is not great but I'll tell you what they're nice weapons, I just try not to empty them out fully if I don't have to but I do like playing them they're the most fun out of all those weapons I think
The best option I don't know, but the original reaper is the most beautiful of them all and fits perfect in the Ardent Behemoth
Yeah that thing was nasty when it first came out, it definitely needed a rebalance but now I think they've rebalanced them a little bit much

I do use mk2 reapers on my crisis and I can get kills like 5 to 12 in champ. Shoot in advance before red dudes came out from the cover and also they can kill even with the last stand. SHOT OR YOUR CHANCE WILL BE LOST. Johnny be good.

Hey Danny can you run the Dagon Kate magnetar with qingting drone
I don't think you need a pilot or a drone if you have six magnetars lol, but I see weapons specific pilots as a waste of resources because most people are going to change their weapons at some point and then they have pilot skills that they have to spend real sources on again so I don't really do the weapons specific pilots but I've been playing that dagon with those magnetars and it's whooping everything. I'm not sure it really matters what drone you have on it either but I'll take a look at that drone again and see what it does cuz I've already forgotten lol it didn't seem that interesting last time I looked at it but I'll check it out again

Prisma are way better than reapers now. I do remember that prismas got a nerf which reduced the dmg - 25% and the ammo capacity was increased, I think prisma is the upgraded version of Flux.

Problem with reaper is - it has very high burst damage and mostly insta-kills light bots like Nether and Orochi... So I think Pixo tried to balance it this way - to leave hight burst as is but to give longer CD time. Yeah that's boring to wait such long for reloading but you are still efficient as a sniper and it's not that frustrating to fight against reaper snipers.
It was definitely too strong but I'd rather have a lot less damage and fast and reload times, I mean it's super boring in the place something like that

In my opinion, Decays on a Behemoth is killer.
I can definitely be a very hit-hearted oh my gosh I meant to say hard-hitting and I set up backwards and then the phone typed it out weird lol but yeah that can hit hard

The reapers interesting, as long as you hit the ability to make sure you have the shield breaker I think four gauss on there would be super super good, The main issue I have with those if you shoot in somebody's shield goes up that's a no-go but if you have them on the crisis and you hit that ability you don't have to worry about somebody's shield popping up so I think it's going to be personal preference on that one but the long reload time kind of kills the reapers for me

So I did play the ultimate edition calamities recently and they didn't feel that strong, when they first came out they were wrecking everything and I think they were bugged and I think they fixed it and now it just feels so so but I did play those on a live stream and a couple of videos recently but I can't remember what robot it was on but they don't feel like they're doing that much damage at the moment

im at a lower rank, what do i do about the hurricane? people stay in the back in almost every match and they can one shot my robots
Those hurricanes not strong weapons when you get into the higher leagues but in the lower leagues I can see how those would be a problem, it sounds like you need to level your robots up more if those are killing them with one shot, a good robot leveled up properly and built properly won't have too much of a problem with those but I'm guessing your levels are low you might not have pilot skills yet you might not have modules yet I'm not 100% sure but unfortunately you kind of got to level your stuff up and equip it with stuff that's suitable for your league that you're playing in. It's not easy to get away from those so I think you just need some more durability on your robots
Prisma are better because -More range -Low chance of missing a shot -Damage is insane when theres no shield -Recharge maybe 13 sec but you can evade it by not finishing it all -you can make prisma pieces
Reaper good thing is it can deal all dmg in short time but yeah 15 sec is 15sec..
If you're a really good sniper you might not mind super long reload times but I hate it lol I think most people hate it lol
The best sniper weapons are the Trebuchets , zenits , gekkos and the noricums. The og sniping weapons 🗿

We're just testing out the weapons I mean pilot skills are not really are an addition to the weapons and I feel that weapons specific skills are kind of a waste of your resources because if you change weapons then you have to spend resources again to get new skills
But Danny, Crisis with gauss with power man skill and all damage skills also with crisis ability doing 20% damage boost and then Showdown drone is Insanely powerfull and then we recharge nearly in 6-7 seconds 💀⚰️
Yeah but we're not really trying to test out a specific robot and pilot skills we're just trying to figure out what the weapons themselves do cuz it's hard to say what robot they're going to be on or who puts what pilot skills on them so if it were about a crisis build with those weapons then it would make sense that maybe do some of that stuff but just in general that's how these weapons perform by their self

Those quick change robots are pretty bad in my opinion, if I dropped one of those in on champion League I don't think it would last very long and last time I played that thing I think the time it takes to switch between weapons is longer than the reload on these things LOL

Decay has a 600 m range I mean that's considered like a mid-range weapon not really a sniper weapon, I think the gas was 800 barely makes it into the sniper category but I guess 800 is pretty long I mean 5 and 600 m is pretty average but I don't consider those to be sniper weapons but they're kind of close

I personally think gauss is the best sniper based on three factors: high damage, all its damage is done it one shot, and the fast reload (Johnny be good =p)
I'm surprised they didn't add a little bit more range on to it but yeah it's a fun weapon you just can't really defend yourself well is somebody rushes you but if they're low in health I guess you can one shot kill them huh
I’ve lost to many games to campers. I think there should be a limiter on weapons range. Example any weapon that does 600 m plus should not be eligible to play br.
Did they tell you the Reaper need to be paired with Crisis to make themselves useful? 😅 I got both but I don't use them, there're better choices.
We're testing the weapons, not the weapons with a robots ability, I mean sure they're going to do a lot more damage if you throw them on there but you're still going to have to sit there and wait for a year for those things to reload lol

Weapons with a 5 or 600 m range or more considered mid-range weapons,. But the keys are killer but they're not exactly what most of us consider sniper weapons, normally the sniper weapons have like a 800 plus meter range and honestly I think 800 m barely gets them into the sniper category but that's the way we used to classify a sniper weapon was by the range

ok first off is you have crisis with all solid gauss its moves fast enough to get beacons and if the right map is available you can camp three beacons and they will be terrified
So, how would you feel if you put a lot of resources and upgrade tokens into four Reaper Guns, and then Pexonic nerfs them back?
I think they made the reload time a little too long on these, I've been playing this game for going on 10 years now so I'm getting used to the way they do things but sometimes when they rebalance stuff they rebalance it a little bit too much and unfortunately I think that's what happened on this one, I don't mind rebalances when they truly billing something but sometimes they do hit a few things a little harder than we would like

They run out of ammo in like 3 seconds it's like 1 2 3 you're out of ammo and then they got a long reload so I hated them and I didn't really think they were worth putting into the video
