all the ideas of the game aer great, but the controls are still horrible (not sayign its easy to find a good solution, but they are clunky as hell)

Tiago D'Agostini controls are ok (imo). Just need a lot of practice. Movement is one controls, battle is another. At least we don’t need to push some button to block 😂

I've been collecting evidence in the game, what I've gathered so far tells me that people with the aptitude for thaumaturgy are often brought here for experiments, as well as normal people, and some sinister presence has taken hold over this dungeon causing the people who lived there to go mad, yet for some reason our character is unaffected by this, the why is what I've yet to find out, I believe it's because our characters mind is to resilient to corrupt, bc whoever brought us here already knew who we were and specifically chose us..

Geras RD I imagine that in the future you will be able to combine spirit form with some force thaumaturgy power and be able to interact or even fight in it.

I think incantation with gesture would be amazing

or more like Divinty original sins style casting and if they added staff Dragons dogma style.

@@pantyeater-kun5788 this is low fantasy magic, both of those games are high fantasy, don't expect your typical wizard class expect a thaurmaturgist, look up the sui generis in tharmateurgy if y wanna see what they might add next :)

@@TheRealJG0 im not talking about magic in general. im talking about the casting style. i like to see them casting like the last airbender, dr strange style stuff tho instead of having hands and spitting words.

@@pantyeater-kun5788 ohh I see, I agree with that casting animations would be amazing, like maybe they could make low level spell require no cast signs, making them useable w weapons, but stronger high level magic require focus and both of ur hands, maybe like being able to mind control a giant monster but ur dude is stuck casting with some flashy animations

From what the devs stated they are going for a very low fantasy style so I think its partly down to stylistic choices. I agree though. It could use a little touch to make it feel more polished.

Hmm if I had to say, I guess it has more to do with that currently it's just Mind Thaumaturgy? I hear Force will be added next so maybe that will have that effect in some way.

It's mind spells so it's like a jedi mind trick, subtle. When force powers come out then we will have some with visual effects

Idk i just used sense minds all the time and i level up pretty fast

As far as I can tell you need to use abilities.

From my tests it seems like ability us isn't required but it does help speed it up.

I think you learn it the same way you get XP (exploring, fighting etc.). I only have passive Sense Minds active and spells still progress.

My problem was that you are limited to 1 continuty spell, I already was using mind read with continuity and wanted to use loyalty on a zombi, so first you need to cancel the continuous mind read since loyalty uses continuity too, you do this by casting continuous mind read again, if you want to cancel loyalty you need to cast it again on the charmed enemy. There is a skill that lets you have 2 continuity spells at the same time.

And i wonder how did u capped that many zombies??

Idk man, when I resurrected him I felt victorious at first, but as I saw him awkwardly wander around like those zombies from the first levels, I put him down again. Uncanny valley is not something I like

It's the cell with all the cages in it, behind one of the cages there's a two-handed sword.

you need to let your first choice when you create a character fully level up. The way you can tell it's leveling up and fully leveled up is it'll gradually fill in with a clearer picture until you can fully see it, and then you just drag it to the thaumaturgy hotbar and you're good to go. Some spells however, require you to acquire specific skills before using. Take Mask Mind for instance, you'll need the skill Inversion in order to acquire mask mind. oh and use your skill 'Sense Mind' always and often. It helps level up your thaumaturgy spells, they level up passively and with each kill but you can boost that by using Spells.

Nothing right now it seems. Some people have said it works on some insider builds and might be intended to let you learn thaum from other schools of thaum than your chosen one.

Idk banish undead not released yet

Maybe there's some types of undead that actually, cannot be really dead without using this spell.

From what I read, it seems the spell will allow you to deal "psionic" damage to undead creatures. Basically, kill them with your mind. Sounds pretty fuckin' sweet, though not too useful in later parts of the (current) game. We'll see though, I could easily be wrong.

Seems it works a little TOO well

I think it makes them forge what they were doing,so if they were in an aggressive state they forget that they were angry. Yellow seems to be cautious/wary so they are still on guard just not actively aggressive

@@drakulux well, it literally confuses them, they don't know if they have to be friendly or aggressive so they'll step back until they regain their senses. CONFUSION basically..

I guess you playing as proctor or vilager, only unknown have magic

You need to play as "unknown", other characters can not do magic

They always conflict with Derrrin no matter loyalty or command dead, 2 or 3 resurrected undeads conflict with each other because of pushing as well.

I think that is the point. Things that don't have eyes like skeletons can't see you. I haven't noticed any other use.

If you mean mind mask then yes, it makes you invisible for skeletons.

@@tukaramthebarbarian3636 Она почему-то работает со скелетами на 3 уровне но не на 4, странно. Правда если их атаковать то они начинают тебя видеть на некоторое время, но если отбежать и вернутся они опять перестают тебя видеть.

Only the "Unknown" character can use thaumaturgy (i think). You should read the manual too.
