My father was born brought up until the age of 6 in Dhanushkodi. He has fond but short memories of his life there. Anthoniar kovil, post office and playgrounds.

Rameshwaram area is a tranquil, naturally beautiful place. Whenever I see this place, my eyes well up. How many people would have imagined in December 1964, they will be killed by this killer cyclone. May their souls RIP.
