There is nothing comparable to C&C in the RTS genre, as C&C defines it basically. Best game series ever made.. sadly no one was able to do similar games with similar complexity and skill just yet.

had one of my riflemen blast a scrin harvester to dust, somehow. most successful riflemen i ever had. ...on the other side of the spectrum, one of my stealth tanks got killed by a buzzer squad because i wasnt paying attention. the duality of man, right there.

I find it a little hilarious that the moment Scrin is on screen I'm cheering for Green_ZERO but the moment BikeRushOwnz switches to Nod my brain starts hard cheering for BikeRushOwnz.
the fact that this beast of a game is still played in 2021 shows how good it really is... still watching to this day games an turnaments with a good touch of oldschool flshbacks... i remeber playing with those legends back in the day in 2009/2010 knowing these guys: masterleaf green_zero bikerushowns kimosabe and alot more is the equivalent like having a match with shroud in a shooter these days...shoutout to my old clan NeXuS... never forget the good old times

I think, the best factions to use against Bike are Masterleaf and Technique. Although, Technique got nerfed, so there is just Masterleaf.

I feel that putting missile squads into those hammerheads and getting slingshots would have taken care of his venom and storm rider problem.
I haven't played C&C but its crazy to me how many games the guy won just from air superiority. like 3 games... and Green Zero sucked ass at doing anything against them.. even sacrificing his air units in the last game. he basically doesn't go for any anti-air and keeps trying to fight ground but sucks ass at that too... in the game previous before the last he even leaves his 3rd expansion unguarded, and it's the wealthiest one on map.. then loses that base! RIGHT after beating the guys ass with his ground based army yet still loses his 3rd expansion. Idk a lot about C&C but i think the things I am talking about aren't simply being ignorant about units of game and mechanics its decision making

I love that in CNC every faction makes you play a different strategy if it's gdi vs nod you can just go APC and pitbull and it will be good but if it's gdi vs scrin you need to use more heavy units like there pred tank becouse of the amount of splash damage scrin have.

The thing I notice with Bikerush: His neutral game is okay. Not bad but also not amazing. What Bikerush excels at is: Finding a weakness. As soon as he notices a small misstake of his opponent, he just tears into his opponent where it hurts. And until he finds a misstake he plays agressivly, which only puts more pressure on his enemies and thus making them more likely to make a misstake. That is why he wins so many games. Because he is excelent in forcing responses that his opponent is not comfortable with. His weakness seems to be: Deffensive players, that fully surpress his agressive playstyle and then use the fact that Bikerush goes rather agressive, to put counterpressure up as soon as the initial agression is being dealt with.
That’s a very apt description.

The game is running at 30, the footage is interpolated up to 60fps in the edit. Maps you can get from community sites or ModDB, but the easiest way to get them in a pack is through the 1.02+ map packs. Unfortunately that requires the install of an app to create an account. Just curious.. why does Green zero allow those hexapod's to walk into his base and destroy his refinery and power plants? when he has juggernauts in firing range? is he just not aware or is it on purpose? Im also curious if Green zero seems to be incontrol of the west, and north and BikeRush is on the east.. why doesnt he just control the top and take the blue tiberium from both sections? wouldn't that make sense?

Well you weren't wrong I did enjoy the plentiful Scrin games in the finals. Last time I asked about the growth accelerator but now after these game I want to ask are Shock Troopers bad? They don't seem to get built at all except for garrisoning the Hexapod and neither do ravagers seem to be built either. The only other infantry unit I haven't seen be built are grenadiers (granted fanatics, shadow teams and black hand seem to be built for cheesy disruption but they still non the less get used).
Ravagers are pretty bad in 1.02/1.02+ they don’t really have a role in the game. 1.03 tries to fix this and make ravagers stronger. Shock troopers are useful partially because of their AA abilities, but usually get overlooked. MasterLeaf went through a phase where he was figuring out how to really utilize shock troopers, but most players still don’t use them much. Grenadiers are built more often than ravagers, but if you don’t need to clear buildings most people don’t build them. Their other use is the emp grenades upgrade, but most GDI players rely on shockwave artillery instead.
@@OneSybert Can't two squads of Ravagers instantly kill a harvester with their special ability, wouldn't they at least be somewhat useful for like Traveler since they get that huge movement speed boost to their infantry? Edit: Also what about the Reaper blue shard upgrade does that even matter for them at all?

I completely forgot about this game i had this game on the xbox 360, im getting a pc soon so i will definitely get this game again loved the children of cabal.
Game six was crazy
Game 1: from a newcomer's perspective it seems like Bikerush's expansion point play gave him enough eco to launch two attacks, the first to prod out a response by Green_Zero (vehicle assault to condition GZ to go for anti-ground vehicle options), and the second to hard call the response and launch an attack exploiting the called weaknesses (air attacks that beat out said anti-ground vehicle options). Game 2: It seemed to me that Green_Zero's play was either a desperate gamble to take back a point, or a deliberate loss to learn more about BRO's playstyle to set up for Game 3. Speaking of which... Game 3: Green Zero finally scores a point. GZ's play I assume is hit and run, where due to an important snipe of the T3 tech building (as Sybert pointed out) he enabled a hit and run strategy of diverting BRO's forces while he nukes down buildings with Firehawks and Orcas. These are all my observations, I encourage anyone to chime in with their thoughts, for the sake of learning.

Is this done with the latest balance patch of EA? Of did the community adjust the balance like in Forged Alliance Forever?

So is the vanillia Scrin the best among the 3 Scrin factions? From Green Zero's gameplay I guess the Scrin rely on both their tripods and their devastators.
i used to play heavy competitive ranking back when it was the peak of Kanes Wrath in 360, i would play with Traveler 59 and Shock troopers and prodigy would be my to go units, was able to reach rank 17 global until health issues on eyes forced me to just quit cold turky games for a couple of years, to this day i still dont see many traveler 59 players, but for me it was the best of the 3 scrin subfactions

games 1 and 2 shows us why some players keep sending pitbulls into enemy base. Even if they get no harvesters, they reveal the enemy plans
I think the best attack unit is the Nod MCV.
I can respect anyone that plays GDI in tournaments. I feel even in Kane's Wrath, they're still a bit below the other factions.
Which is interesting because some people say that they're the overall strongest faction if you play towards the late game.
Masterleaf, Greenzero, Drive, Bikerush are my favorite
I'm a noob at this, why do players power down refineries at the beginning?
You can get a refinery out faster by skipping a power plant, but you don't actually need the refinery right away because the harvester is out getting Tiberium. You power down the refinery to stay out of low power mode which doubles build times.

Nice games. I feel Greenzero lost almost every time because anti-air was not working. 3 out of 5 games were lost to air.

Ничёси, коммент на русском! Всегда болею за GDI и за наших СНГшных (независимо от выбранной фракции) А так то как мне кажется GDI самая сложная фракция, требует много микроконтроля и разнообразия юнитов, а ещё никаких тебе подлых штук в виде специальных возможностей (minedrop, starsisfield, wormhole и тд.) способных внезапно координально изменить ход битвы. А стелс танк так вообще имба, он при таких возможностях должен хотя бы 3400 стоить.

how come GDI players never use Mammoth tanks?
They have poor manoeuvrability and fire rate. They're only good in specific situations.
Mammoth Tanks are good in large numbers but they're slow and vulnerable to anti-vehicle units like rocket infantry/Disintegrators. They're also very expensive to build and Juggernauts are good enough at killing vehicles and have better range so most GDI players prefer to just build those instead.
Mammoths work best when you're ST. Other factions it's just a waste of money.

@@stefanalistar6773 Yes bikerush banned him for a very good Reason let's not forget why masterleaf was banned I believe a lot of people who dislike bike rush leave out the reason Also even if masterleaf played I don't think it would have mattered much he's not at the same skill level 5 years ago.

@@freespaceace1 he said some remarks that would earn you a life ban from any event but i think Bikerush allowed him to play in 3vs3 event & both have moved on from the issue as far as I know from discord & twitch
@@freespaceace1 4 years ago Leaf was banned (I don't know for how long) after Senna's report of him using a gamebreaking exploit, the "engineer exploit" But that was 4 years ago, and that's all I know.
