In this video I'm building an 8" Chef's knife from 52100 High Carbon Steel using a stock removal method. I did my best to achieve a hamone and it worked, but barely. I've got a few different techniques I'm going to be trying in the future to see if I can get a hamone that stands out a little bit more.
