I love how even though they time lapse her doing her makeup the timer is still going at the normal rate
Yeah this is exactly why this 10 minute thing has no meaning. It's pointless to have a 10 minute video when they actually take 20-30 to do the look. Allure is drunk.
@@icymeow3417 "Allure is drunk" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂lmao
Right?! I can't believe they did that 😂
I was going to say the same thing.
the face and body color difference is killing me
😂
Atrocious
Too yellow 🙈 the pink eyeshadow also look like disjointed too
Line of DEMARCATION is real, I wonder if she goes to events with this stark change in tone. If so, rock on, enjoy lol.
Why do pale cool toned girls not just get pinker foundations. There’s so many!!!
Meredith: I like to apply a lot of powder. Girl, you like to apply a lot of everything.
its her face not yours
and?
Duuuuh
so?
So? So what.
For anyone unfamiliar -- this is her "thing." She MUST know she looks 10000 times better without makeup on, she's naturally stunning. Her foundation is just horrible, but most of her comment section is people saying that. It drives up engagement aaaand that's how she ends up places like here :)
Thank you…because honestly I was lost! 😂
She knows the game and how to play it for sure.
I realize, if you look close she is always wearing some makeup before she starts. Also in other videos it looks like she got lip augmentation and dimple and buccal fat surgery.
NOWWWWWWW I get it!!!
It’s such a stupid “thing”
She talks about using the brush so she don’t get it under her acrylic nails but then uses her hands to blend the foundation?? What..
She like to apply with back of a brush so she doesn’t get it in nails ?
Yeah this is logic
Yup had the same thought
yeah i was like bruhhhhh
@@MakeupbybellaBeauty24- yes but then blends the foundation in with her hands lol
There is literally no way this took only 10 minutes. 😅
Right? They completely skipped her second brow. So annoying to lie about it…. Like why
Righttt LOLLL
Lol at this point, I feel like Allure is basically like we’ve edited it into 10 minutes and that’s good enough 😂
@@tb11212 I think you're right lol
@@kateregier7713 Not only that. They fast forward a lot of parts of the video but keep the time speed on the clock normal.
I love the "I don't use my hands cause I don't wanna get it under my nails and its messy" *rings in foundation with hands....* and the " I don't use a sponge because it soaks up the foundation " *uses the sponge
I was looking for this comment😭😭
😂😂😂
you clearly don't know, spreading all the foundation with a sponge is not the same as spreading it by hand and then going over it with a sponge.. 1st way absorbs much more liquid compared to 2nd way.
@@loralaig that was 7 months ago and you still on this. I'm not dumb so I obviously know the comment was supposed to be funny. Calm down

8:17 omg her natural lip color matches her makeup so well its soo pinkish, gorgeous. shes literally lucky.
she is using foundations with yellow undertones while her undertone is red
Right! She's yellow! and brown lips! Why? She's a natural beauty... Let that shine through!
there’s no red undertone💀
@Tasya Pretty exactly. Red/pink whatever you call it - it’s not yellow, it’s not warm and it’s an important detail
she's more of a pink I think in my opinion. although they do have deeper red so-called undertones I guess if you want to call it that. but that's usually for a very deep skin
exactly! not everyone has a warm tone to their skin
As someone who's very familiar with doing a full face of makeup everyday....that did not take 10minutes! My average was an hour.
I think her mixing and just applying the foundation took more than 10 minutes
No girl literally i was just thinking that! 15-20 minutes is that fastest i can do full glam
She does this everyday so I would say she is already used to it
indeed, they cheated! look at the time when she did another eyebrow/eye makeup off camera. tht did not take a few secs okay hahaha
Some parts are sped up so it does make sense if it took longer than 10 minutes
"A natural spring time look" DEAD 🤣
😂😅 wtf
her natural lip shade is so gorgeous. i feel like a pinky shade would have suited her so much more than the nude
People new to makeup who are watching, some tips: 1) you do not need this much foundation, especially if you have clear skin. If you have acne or dark spots you want to cover, use a full coverage concealer and a light layer of medium/full coverage foundation so you don’t look caked up. Remember she is using heavy lighting and filters. Everyone has texture, don’t add cake to your beautiful natural texture! 2) match your foundation to your neck and chest, NOT your face. This way you will avoid the yellow face, pink chest you see here. 3) enjoy! While there are no rules to makeup, most of what you see online is influencers selling products or trying to go viral with techniques that waste product or won’t be flattering for normal people without filters and heavy lights.
The wrong skin tone complexion for her completely even the bronzer was the wrong tone for her. I’m no expert but it seemed to me she had more pink in her skin she needs to find a better foundation that will match her skin complexion and a better bronzer as well. But everything you pointed out was accurate!
As long as you feel beautiful and arent doing it for anyone else, just do it how you want!

@@vucicevic3 yes before foundation after all your other skincare products
She does, she uses so much foundation it hides all her features.
it's not a skin care routine
She said that in her last video, the pool one I think she read your comment lol 😭

She does.
I love how time passes regularly while they speed the video of her up
Meredith: "This is my shade" Everyone: "Ummm..."🤔🤔😶
lolll
Ten shades of yellow and the wrong intensity for her skin
So true!
It normally wouldn’t matter if your foundation was a slightly different shade, because after blending it in fully and adding contour and blush it corrects it. But she uses so much that a slight shade difference turns into a crazy foundation mask on her skin.
@@blinkblinking yess
Her natural lip colour is so pretty. Her lipstick just hid the pretty colour like a darker concealer.

She’s so naturally beautiful it drives me mad that she cakes her face in this 2016 style makeup. Just feels unnecessary. You can achieve a full glam makeup look with half the amount of foundation she uses.

Agreed. I thought Bobbi brown’s little mocking video was petty and childish. Her new foundation is def not for everyone. It’s a hot mess IMO so this girl was entitled to her opinion.she seems confident in what she does and good for her

i’m sorry but i just can’t imagine all of the caked on foundation and concealer looking good in real life.. even if you don’t have much texture on your face, i doubt it would look even decent. not to mention putting POWDER on top of all of it. just before someone complains under this comment (like i know someone will do), i am aware using tons of foundation is meredith’s brand. i find it completely wasteful and unnecessary. her skin may look fine on camera, but filters exist and most cameras don’t pick up dry spots, texture, pores, etc. i do not CARE what she does, nor am i attacking her as a person, i’m just saying i find it gross and impractical to cake so much foundation on.
Maybe if you are young like her, but no way on someone 50 and above. Eeeks!!
its her face not yours
Her makeup reminds me ALOT of 2010's beauty guru makeup. Lot of foundation, brow pomade, lot of concealer, ect. It works for her tho and she's gorgeous
This girl looks like a model and has clear skin. And she obviously gets paid a lot as a tik tok personality. And this is the best she can do?? Expensive orange foundation and a designer lipstick that looks like the wrong shade of concealer? I’m sorry I do not get this at all. Girl has freckles and doesn’t wear sunscreen? She started using her fingers to apply foundation to save money. . On a $50 bottle of foundation applying three times as much as a person would need? What??!!
This is ridiculous in all ways.
she has such a lovely complexion, her freckles are so pretty.
There's a makeup artist youtuber called Robert Walsh whose recent video explains why her usage of foundation in such a way is not good, especially if you're reviewing a product and not using it in the right way and saying it's bad. Also, i don't follow her, but it's obvious that the hate she gets is because at this point even people who don't wear make up know better than to apply this much foundation.
OMG I love watching him too! He's so real, and he's an actually MUA!
She actually blocked him in tiktok thats what I heard
Yes and ontop of her using that much foundation her foundation doesn't match her skin for beginners please try matching ur neck and chest and I recommend if u have pale skin going for a more pinky foundation!
What's the video called
I love him and his brother!
She looked a million times prettier and younger before all that makeup.
I’m so glad I recently got into powder foundation, I can get a good medium coverage with it and I spot conceal discoloration/acne scars first. It blurs my texture without completely covering it up so it still looks like skin and I feel like it lasts longer too. I like to set it with a dewy mist to mimic real skin even further. It also clogs my pores significantly less and I break out less often. I even have fairly dry skin but if my skincare routine is in check I have no problems with flaky texture. Absolutely no judgement to her or anyone that uses heavy liquid foundation but I wanted to put it out there for anyone who’s been looking into alternative ways to do their makeup.
yesss same! i have oily skin and powder foundation with some spot concealing has been a lifesaver. wearing liquid foundation feels so weird now. i have found that powder foundation doesn’t last as long on my face and i need to reapply it throughout the day, but most compacts come with a sponge and mirror so it’s not a problem. powder foundation takes like 3 steps out of my base routine
Which one do u use
i just use some translucent powder tbh
no friggin way this could have taken anywhere near 10 minutes in real life.
right I was just saying the same thing she goes on saying that she uses her hands for foundation and gets it all over her hands and stuff but then you see the timer at like almost 2 minutes and then it cuts and her hands are clean. no way if I'm doing 10 minutes worth of makeup routine I'm definitely trying to do it the fastest easiest way in my hands would just take longer I feel like especially having to wash them in the middle of my makeup routine when I tend to wash my hands before or after. I don't need to be doing it no two three times
Bro you apply the foundation to your face with a brush handle because if you use fingers it can get under your nails but then you proceed to use your fingers to blend it out which could get foundation under your nails. Then you don't want to apply it with a sponge but then you go in with a sponge anyways. Yes that absolutely makes sense. Also the shade is definitely off.
Literally my thoughts!!
I’ve seen shorts where she’s doing her thing and decided to give it a shot viewing this vid. It’s certainly impressive what she does with make up. There are just a few things that don’t make sense to me. Mostly, why is she using a foundation with yellow undertones when her actual skin has cool/pink undertones, it just clashes. Then the “queen of complexion” comment idk sis. It certainly is a skill to apply makeup like this, at the same time it feels to me as if these girls are drawing a whole other face on themselves. It feels as if they’re hiding their authentic self instead of uplifting it through makeup. To each their own
Straight facts!!!!!!
The irony of her saying that she doesn’t like to use a makeup sponge in applying her foundation because it soaks up the product but proceeds to apply the whole bottle on her face instead 🤌🏻 still love her tho🤍
She needs more of a pink undertone and possibly a beauty blender/ just less foundation. It seems like she aged 10 years or something with so much caked on.

Hey Allure! I got a pretty sweet 3-minute makeup tutorial if you'd like to feature more natural looks! 😇
Spot concealer, all over powder to set and even out skin tone, mascara, touch of blush, eye shadow crayon for lid shadow and as bottom liner & mascara. That takes me 15 minutes, and I don’t use false lashes. And this approach lets my skin breathe and minimizes the look of wrinkles, which ALL liquid foundations and BB & CC creams and tinted moisturizers make look more prominent. I was waiting for the part at the end where she matches her face to her neck and arm color since the foundation shade she used was yellow undertone but her skin is pink undertone... Does she just not match when out and about?
⬆️🎁⬆️Congratulations!! You’ve been selected among my draws winners text on telegram to claim your prize!!❤️🎉
“I can’t afford to use the beauty blender use all my foundation” Proceeds to squirt 8-9 pumps of foundation onto the back of her hand
My first time seeing her blink
I can see her blue veins , she’s clearly cool toned fair , why would she use a full coverage light yellow shade ? I find it so distracting when I see someone’s makeup doesn’t match the undertone of their hands.
She is so sweet ❤️ i love the pink makeup
One of my favorite things about makeup is seeing how authentic the process is to each and every woman. I love the different interpretations of makeup and how each woman uses it to enhance her own beauty. While I would never do my makeup this way, I also appreciate that this is what she does to raise HER confidence and what she finds beautiful. Makeup is art, and in art, there are no rules
1. Uses back of brush to apply foundation on face to avoid getting foundation under fingernails 👉🏻Proceeds to smear foundation all over face with hands 2. Uses hands as cost effective method of applying expensive foundation because beauty blenders soak up a lot of the product 👉🏻Proceeds to use 10 pumps of foundation for one application, then presses beauty blender all over the foundation 😑
She is so pretty even without makeup❤
I honestly didn’t know who she was, then I found her on Tiktok and saw all the hate :/ I personally really like the way she looks ❤️ but maybe people are right in the fact that you could use full coverage foundation in order to achieve that look, instead of a natural finish foundation and waste so much. She’s not the only one encouraging waste on TikTok tho, so I still don’t understand why people hate her so much. However, it would be nice to have more people giving a good example, nonetheless she ends up looking really good so I don’t get the shade 🕺🏻
Agreed! I don't follow her just came across this on KZhead. Not gonna lie I was a bit mortified when I saw the amount of pumps being used. I love full coverage and I have that exact foundation and I never use more than two pumps max, it goes a looooong way. Maybe I'm old lol but I see this kinda stuff online and I'm like hmmm I don't get it??? Lol The eye area, again, horrifying 😅 lol no hate personally against this girl but your eye area is so delicate, and it's so easy for that area to crease. When u apply SOoo much product to that area, you are asking for creases at that point, cuz it's just too much for that small area. At the end of the day, you have skin under your makeup and it's so delicate. Rubbing so much makeup in every single pore is just not good in my opinion. Again Nothing personal to this woman, i dont even know her lol but this isnt how makeup should be applied as far as I'm concerned.
i dont think its right that ppl hate her but like ik recentally she used this pot foundation and used like almost the whole container and then gives it a bad review and bashes on the product when like bruh shes using wayyyy too much to be giving it a bad review. like its not made to do that yk. but i also get that its a bad review for what shes trynna go for but idk. i have mixed emotions about her lol
@@lisaclopein5942 lol that makes no sense. Pot foundation usually goes even further than typical foundation and u should use a brush to buff it in so hopefully didn't use her hands again 😅
I think she does her foundation like that so she can stand out among the makeup artists of tiktok. It's unique to her and honestly it's working to get her name out there
@@infpedits the end product always looks lovely even though it’s very full coverage, i think it’s just clickbait. her lack of technique clearly gets her the most views so i don’t really blame her. either way i don’t agree with people attacking a woman online over makeup, she seems lovely
She looks better without makeup
Meredith: I like using hands to blend my foundation 2 seconds later: pulls out a beauty blender
I could hear the foundation crumble as she touches it after the powder I can't-
I literally gasped when I saw this
her: uses back of brush cause she doesn’t want to get foundation in her nails her 5 seconds later: uses her hands to blend in the foundation
I met her at Coachella and she was not nice😭
If you are gonna use that much, use the right color, girl you pale/pink, with cool, blue undertones...you are now yellow and white. You must see this in the natural light you are filming in?!?
Allure played their followers by showing an influencer who applies foundation good for five faces and in the wrong shade/undertone/intensity 🤡🤡🤡
